“So I was lucky enough to win a special contest in December, where I got to have a after hours dinner with several content creators in town. The first thing I noticed was the ambiance and the professionalism of everyone working the event. Kelly and Ian, the co-owners of South Creek hosted the event, Kelly did a fantastic job of explaining the ingredients of each dish; and explaining what made each one unique. The thing that really made me smile was Ian breaking down how they make all of the pizzas, it was like watching Bob from Bob's Burgers explain why he loves his restaurant so much. Ian has such a passion for what he does, it's so hard to not get enamored with that he makes. The S'more pizza in particular belongs right next to Movie Theater Popcorn for a food item I'll always be in the mood for. I went back to the restaurant in February to see if the service would be as great in an every day setting, and to the surprise of no one the food and service was fantastic once again. This isn't just a Reno restaurant, it's a Reno institution. I can't wait for my next visit.“

“JJ’s is a reliably great pizza. Warm, perfectly cooked, soul satisfying. When I think of a perfect pizza, JJ’s pepperoni is it. The atmosphere is funky, a retro experience that instantly feels comfortable. Sure it’s junky and old, not much to look at. But I can instantly relax here. It takes me right back to being a teenager.“

“I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.“

“I used to only like the Chicago stuffed pizza from Papa Murphy's. But my latest buy was 3 separate pizzas, and none of them were Chicago stuffed.
They were all my own creations, except for one, which was half-and-half of 2 different menu, pizzas, I've got to say they did a fantastic job. Because I enjoyed all of them and so did my family and that's hard to accomplish. I will definitely be ordering again and regularly. Now that I know that there are absolutely multiple items. My family enjoys as well as twelve dollar large pizza tuesdays. There was no skimping on toppings and the employees were kind. The store was clean. Ordering was easy it's all around win.“

“Second time being here. Wanting to keep coming back for more. Upon entry the Owner of the place immediately recognized My cousin and I. Paid a decent price for a Medium sized pizza. Slices are quite big so you definitely get your money's worth. We then went up to the balcony view where you get to experience a incredible sight seeing the mountains and downtown. Vibe raggae type music is played low where you can listen to the songs, while talking to others. Highly recommend coming to this place as you will not be disappointed.“

The med vs large sandwich size isn't that much of a difference, and that the medium size is fairly large compared to other sandwich places!“

I love they have an allergy menu.. and the allergy friendly items are literally so good that I checked the menu 2x after I started eating just to confirm I ordered something that was vegan and gluten free because it didn’t taste like the typical crappy GF or vegan alternative. “I grew up in NYC and with that being said for the XLNYC the dough was good, but very thin. If you doubled it, it would still be thin and yet the right thickness. The Italian seasonings on top was way too much for a family pie, too much for even me. The average kid might not be able to eat it. Great and rapid service. Would I come back? Yes.

Parking: Parking can get tight when busy. Parking strips could certainly be widened a bit.“

“Not only do they serve great food and have a great atmosphere, they also save lives. I’m diabetic and I went too long before eating so I was searching for a place to eat. But by the time I got to Brew Brothers my sugar was dangerously low. My waitress Debbie was trying to take my order but I was at the point that I couldn’t talk. Another waitress Karla noticed I was shaking uncontrollably. She told Debbie that she thought I was having a diabetic problem. Debbie, Karla and Erika came to my rescue and immediately started giving me juice and sugar! I really can’t thank them enough! I will always remember them and the restaurant!“

“The Carson City location served the best pizza I ever had in a long time. The Boss was amazing! Every bite had toppings on it. The crust was amazing! The sauce was amazing. Not a single topping came off...but in my mouth! the Cheese...like everything melted in our mouths. My kids made me come back for more! The employees friendly and nice!The restaurant was clean! Its a hole in the wall restaurant and I give it 5 stars! The cost for a XL is $25. The quality and the service is amazing! You will have us coming back weekly! Thank you“
