Also, Jimmy at the Reno Nv store is very friendly and told me about the different sauces they make and use. jimmy Rocks!!“

“Came in for a late lunch. Not busy at all. They have into and outdoor seating.
Started with a Caesar salad. Pretty basic but good.
Ordered the Truffle Shuffle pie Hannah’s way. Super good pizza. Really enjoyed the flavors. Crust was very good too. Highly recommend.
For dessert we got the s’more’s pizza. Super fun nice crispness given the wood fired oven. Would have maybe liked a chocolate drizzle on top or more chocolate inside. Just a little more moisture would have been my add on.“

It just so happened to be super close to where we were staying, so bonus! There was plenty of seating for the 7 of us. The wait was way less than we thought it was going to be, but we weren't in a rush. All we got was 2 pepperoni pizzas... And oh my God... They were the best 2 pepperoni pizzas we ever had. “I grew up in NYC and with that being said for the XLNYC the dough was good, but very thin. If you doubled it, it would still be thin and yet the right thickness. The Italian seasonings on top was way too much for a family pie, too much for even me. The average kid might not be able to eat it. Great and rapid service. Would I come back? Yes.

Parking: Parking can get tight when busy. Parking strips could certainly be widened a bit.“

I love they have an allergy menu.. and the allergy friendly items are literally so good that I checked the menu 2x after I started eating just to confirm I ordered something that was vegan and gluten free because it didn’t taste like the typical crappy GF or vegan alternative. “The Carson City location served the best pizza I ever had in a long time. The Boss was amazing! Every bite had toppings on it. The crust was amazing! The sauce was amazing. Not a single topping came off...but in my mouth! the Cheese...like everything melted in our mouths. My kids made me come back for more! The employees friendly and nice!The restaurant was clean! “I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.“

“I used to only like the Chicago stuffed pizza from Papa Murphy's. But my latest buy was 3 separate pizzas, and none of them were Chicago stuffed.
They were all my own creations, except for one, which was half-and-half of 2 different menu, pizzas, I've got to say they did a fantastic job. Because I enjoyed all of them and so did my family and that's hard to accomplish. I will definitely be ordering again and regularly. Now that I know that there are absolutely multiple items. My family enjoys as well as twelve dollar large pizza tuesdays. There was no skimping on toppings and the employees were kind. The store was clean. Ordering was easy it's all around win.“

KJ has been the best bartender whenever we’re in. She makes you feel welcomed when she greets you, is always showing new comers how to use the card system to pour their drinks, and is attentive and friendly! We love the village well and especially love KJ!“

“We live right around the corner! Rather than spending half an hour trying to figure out dinner, our pizza was ready in 20 minutes. It was very hot when we picked it up, and the crust was nice and crisp. This was our first time getting two whole pizzas. We walk by here everyday and finally ordered. Definitely not disappointed! “Roxy is a staple in this Casino area. We have eaten there many times and I would say the food and service is particularly consistent. The bread service is old school - a good thing - that you don't experience much anymore (staff comes by with a basket with a couple of options that are always warm and tasty, then they return again to see if you want more - who does that anymore?). They have nice menu with a variety of options to accommodate everyone's taste. The cocktails are great and the tableside smoked cocktails are especially delicious. The only snafu was that one of our party made a specific request for his salad which was his main course, but the waiter forgot to put the order in correctly (acknowledged when pointed out and he offered to have the salad re-prepared but our guest has reservations on sending back a dish based on prior experiences - and explained that is was his issue - and opted to not eat the salad). We would have thought the waiter would have then pulled the salad off the tab since he made and acknowledge the original mistake. Since it was a comped meal, we just let it go. That said, the rest of us enjoyed our meals, cocktails and wine and we managed to have a good time at The Roxy regardless.“

What you may not know is how professionally they handle deliveries Semenza's would NEVER trust any 'delivery service' with their valuable customer. No 3rd party trying to hustle you for a bigger tip. No 3rd party messing up an order or delivering it cold and then blaming the restaurant. Someone from their staff delivers it themselves. From their hands to yours period. Next time you're in the mood to have Reno's finest Pizza or Wings brought right to your door give Semenza's a call. You can thank me later. Oh, and slip the driver a few bucks tip...they've truly earned it.“
