“I used to only like the Chicago stuffed pizza from Papa Murphy's. But my latest buy was 3 separate pizzas, and none of them were Chicago stuffed.
They were all my own creations, except for one, which was half-and-half of 2 different menu, pizzas, I've got to say they did a fantastic job. Because I enjoyed all of them and so did my family and that's hard to accomplish. I will definitely be ordering again and regularly. Now that I know that there are absolutely multiple items. My family enjoys as well as twelve dollar large pizza tuesdays. There was no skimping on toppings and the employees were kind. The store was clean. Ordering was easy it's all around win.“

“I grew up in NYC and with that being said for the XLNYC the dough was good, but very thin. If you doubled it, it would still be thin and yet the right thickness. The Italian seasonings on top was way too much for a family pie, too much for even me. The average kid might not be able to eat it. Great and rapid service. Would I come back? Yes.

Parking: Parking can get tight when busy. Parking strips could certainly be widened a bit.“

I’ve known the staff for years and they’re all amazing. The pizza is fantastic, plenty of beer options, and just a great place to go and grab some food or knock out some work over a brew.

“Pub n sub has been a Reno/UNR tradition for 50+ years. Every UNR student knows it as a place to get pizza, sandwiches and other bar food. They have a great patio out front and a nice area in the back for those crowded nights. The Bacon Cheeseburger was outstanding, the sandwich my wife ordered was good and the salad our friend had looked tasty. Not living in the area has limited my visits to several years apart but they still do a great job. The atmosphere is college bar/restaurant and they should never change it.“

“I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.“

KJ has been the best bartender whenever we’re in. She makes you feel welcomed when she greets you, is always showing new comers how to use the card system to pour their drinks, and is attentive and friendly! When my son and i arrived Zachary was finishing up a pizza and greeted us and told us that he would be right with us. He then washed his hands and rang us up for a buffet and a kids buffet. He told us about the specials and was extremely professional. He asked my son and I what kind of pizza that we liked. Later he brought us a lunch card. I observed Zachary with other customers and he was just so professional. He was so great and full of pride just like a business owner even though I don't think he is the owner. Its really refreshing to see that people like this still exist. It was a pleasant unexpected surprise. We will definitely be back to this Round Table Pizza when we visit Reno in the future.
If I owned a business I would have offered him a job immediately.

“I never dined in at the establishment. However, their food is fantastic. It’s prepared, quick fast and hot. The owner is very attentive and is definitely a lot of money for the bang so if you want to feed your family at a low cost, this is the place and it’s fantastic food. We love their nitro sauce.“

“We did some research to find a great taco truck while visiting in Reno and Tacos Pillulles absolutely was it. It’s in the parking lot of a Home Depot and during the day, surely gets a lot of business. (We went for dinner and were able to get seats at the tables they had set up.) We ordered a bunch of tacos al pastor (marinated pork), cabeza (beef head), carnitas (shredded pork), and carne asada. Each one was DELICIOUS and had distinct flavors from the others. The three salsas that came with the tacos were distinct and flavorful and mildly to moderately spicy (but nothing to set your tongue on fire). The carnitas tacos also came with a delicious consommé. Bonus points for having a wide variety of Jarritos and Mexican Coca Cola (i.e., in glass bottles). And the service was quick, incredibly friendly, and pleasant. I would 100% recommend Tacos Pillulles to anyone looking for good street tacos and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Reno.

(And for those who are curious, I asked about the meaning of Pillulles. The woman who was working didn’t know, but said it was the nickname of the owner. He’s been called Pillulles since he was a little kid.)“

“Pizza Plus on Mae Ann is awesome. We ordered a combo player that came with three large pizzas, 6 1/2 pounds of wings and 4 lbs of fries. We had a party of ten and left with half a pizza, some fried and half of the wings. Plenty of food and worth the value.“

The dough is made fresh in house and there are only bake to order so it’s a fresh pie with every one. The pizza is like fresh made garlic twist bread and it start hot and fresh the whole time.
