Do yourself a favor and get the baked mussels. All of the food we ordered was good, and just a little different than many of the other places in town.
Super fast and friendly service. Like, *SUPER* fast. O_o And all of the staff were friendly, not only just our waitress.
The restaurant itself is basically what you expect from a sushi place in terms of decor and atmosphere. Nothing revolutionary, but also nothing wanting. Clean and comfortable and perfectly pleasant. Will 100% recommend.“

“We had the pleasure of being sat in Grace's section. We've had her before, so we were thrilled to see her again. She is amazing! Food comes out quickly and is fresh. We did the AYCE option. My favorite is the salmon skin hand roll. I like the food options here better than most other AYCE sushi places, and the price is incredibly reasonable. Will be back!“

“Amazing sushi w/amazing service! Wonderful authentic Japanese sushi restaurant w/Japanese sushi chefs. We ate at the bar & spoke with our chef while we are. He was incredibly kind & welcoming, made you feel like family & like you belonged. Then, there’s the food. The sushi was amazing! I got a lot of sushi nigiri & a rainbow roll. Everything was perfect; it was fresh, prepared with lightning speed, & just tasted fantastic. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had outside of Little Tokyo. Highly recommend“

“I began my sushi journey at the OG Sushi Pier over 20 years ago. Instantly developed amazing friendships with their staff. Always knew me by not just my name but my “nickname” lol. Always amazing food, chefs are always willing to make alterations to requests (add this, subtract that, make it spicier). Whenever my OG Reno friends come into town and want to go to sushi, they always request the OG Sushi Pier! I’ve eaten my fair share of sushi, all over the country, and can hands down say OG Sushi Pier consistently is amazing! All this talk of the OGSP got me wanting, you guessed it, the OG Sushi Pier!“

“Thank you for having so many vegetarian and vegan options! I really liked the first option on the vegan menu. It was a sushi roll with things like rice, gardein chicken, avocado, Chipotle mayo, anold one other sauce. My pickier son liked the build your own where he could choose his items. All the boba drinks are nindairy by default. They were very sweet but fun.“

“We went there for my sons 18th birthday. The food was great, the service was great and so was the entertainment. It was a wonderful experience that we do yearly or multiple times in a year. Everything was great until we received the tab. The fact that there is now a mandatory gratuity no mater how big the party is, I feel is wrong on so many levels. Because of the mandatory gratuity you cost your servers, staff and cooks more money. I understand having when with larger parties but we had 5 of us and the people next to us was only 2. I would suggest changing this or you will have others that will find other places to go. Other then that everything was great.“

Heard good things and they didn’t disappoint. Fish was fresh and good quality. Enjoyed all items: Tuna, Salmon, Unagi, Inari, Peppered Tuna, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Polar bear hand roll (my favorite new sushi), tempura mix, seaweed and cucumber salads. “Probably the best pho/meal in all of Reno. If I had to recommend only one spot to get food, I would choose this place over and over. The pho broth is consistently delicious, quality is always superior and the service is unlike anywhere else. I’ve been coming to this spot for about 2 years now and am always blown away at how incredible the service is and how *amazing* the food always is. I swear it gets better each time. I especially love that when you ask to take your pho to go, they will give you fresh rice noodles to take so that it’s just as good when you reheat at home. The aunties that work there are just amazing. I also would like to point out that one time I had a bad stomach ache and had to leave my group to finish their food and an auntie gave my GF a cup of sprite to bring out to me to settle my stomach. I will always be a customer here and continue to tell everyone about this place.“

“for cheap sushi, their sushi is really good! this was a hit amongst my coworkers when i worked at the mall (i never asked but i don’t think they give mall employee discounts). their spicy california rolls are so good, i recommend this place if you want your sushi fix but you happen to be at the mall. they also have some asian snacks and soda cans to buy.“

Typically they are pretty generous with adding a little more of this or that. But at my last visit they pushed back pretty hard on adding more Wakame and Edamame. Meh... Maybe the employee was having a bad day.“

“One of our favorite sushi restaurants in Reno, well anywhere really. Their fish is always fresh and they have delicious, creative rolls. I really enjoy their Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Nigiri, I always have to order a couple of each. They have good quality, fresh Hamachi. Their all you can eat price is very reasonable with drinks included most nights, depending on what you drink. Desert comes with all you can eat, I really like the fried banana sundae but the green tea ice cream is also good and refreshing.“

“They were super busy and had absolutely horrible service. To be fair, the couple sitting next to us did have a much more attentive waitress, so I think it was just ours. We had to ask for napkins and chopsticks. Our water was empty all during dinner had to ask multiple times having it refilled. This was hard as well because the waitress is also the one who orders apps for you on the AYCE. Overall, wish it would have been better service since it was a birthday meal, and no birthday recognition or desert even though I put it on the reservation.“
