“Everything about this McDonald’s is 5 stars. It’s locally owned & operated & the portions are so worth paying the same price as you would anywhere else, the breakfast burritos I got were huge compared to anywhere else lol. The employees always have a great attitude & idk how this has a 2.9 rating truly. First & probably only review I’ll ever do for a fast food chain too the portions I got were awesome compared to every other McDonald’s I’ve been to.“

“I love this place for coffee, the plantain coffee is my favorite and I like it much more than I initially thought I would. I wouldn't recommend them for food since most of the items seem to come from Costco (but I haven't tried everything. I don't want to say this is the case for the full menu so take this with a grain of salt). However, for coffee I would definitely recommend them!“

“I cannot recommend this place enough! I’ve been to just about every coffee shop in Reno/sparks and this is the best place. After living in both Italy and Spain throughout college, coffee back home wasn’t quite cutting it. But HCC never misses! Their sugar and spice latte is the BEST! The owners are so friendly and the baristas are excited to see us come in each weekend. I bring all my friends here and they have loved it too. There’s plenty of seating, good music and it’s decorated nicely. Really the best way to sum it up is that the owners know what small business in Reno is all about, no matter how big this city is getting. Genuine, hard working, kind and personable owners. I took my food to go to take it home but I decided to take a bite and oh man, I LITERALLT stopped on the side and finished the whole sandwich because it was that good! “This is such a lovely, family owned coffee shop! It's in a wonderful location with beautiful views of the mountains and Sparks Marina. They have a lot of seating outdoors to enjoy during the nice weather. Inside is a bit smaller, but definitely on the cozy side. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming as well as excellent at making suggestions. I usually opt for their hot chai or a kombucha (which usually is rotating in flavors). They have a small bakery selection (including gluten-free options) and so far everything I have tried has been delicious! My current favorites are the vanilla lavender scone and the cherry chocolate almond scone - highly recommend! They aren't too sweet and aren't dry at all.“

“Dom and Clair are amazing and so knowledgeable. We came here on a whim cuz I wanted to do this for my bday. We had so much fun, drank lots of cool stuff. Got an amazing tour from Clair on how they make the bourbon. Don whipped up some killer cocktails. Really fun and refreshing. They also do a gin class and cocktail school. “A small but high quality cafe offering breakfast and lunch with substantial vegan options. My friend and I got a vegan breakfast burrito and vegan French toast, we were both very happy. I also got a vegan cortado which was tasty. I would recommend going earlier rather than than later if you intend to sit, as it seemed to get crowded around 9:30 on Saturday, and seating is limited there. However, their food would be just as good to go!Vegetarian options: Great vegan options, including breakfast burrito, pancakes, French toast, avocado toast, and vegan quesadilla“

“Went here on a late Friday night and was so glad we put in an order online before picking up. When I got there only 1 person was working and it was so busy!!! I felt so sorry for her and message to the owners: do NOT have just 1 person working on a weeknight, shame on you! Poor girl was literally doing everything and people kept coming in. I'm giving her 5 stars because she was as quick as she could with our drink orders and could tell others were not as happy waiting. That's not her fault at all! The drinks were amazing and was very surprised there's decent boba in Reno (yay!)“

“We always have an amazing experience at the Sparks location! Today, my daughter came with me to grab my coffee and decided to get up on the stage and start dancing. Since we were the only ones in the shop, the sweet employee put on an Encanto song (my daughter was wearing an Encanto dress) so she could dance to it. It totally made her day! “Sucker for a really great cup of coffee, I tried Glorycloudcoffee this morning after my order arrived yesterday. Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased. Smooth but strong enough to provide a gentle morning kick, the taste reminds me much of Douwe Egberts gourmet coffee they often serve at the best fancy hotel banquets. Yes, I can recommend Glorycloudcoffee and will to my friends and family. Reasonably priced, quick delivery, and customer service by people who are as sold on their product as I am.“

“Came here with a friend in the morning and had a wonderful time. The inside is adorable! I love the vibe this place has. They also have outdoor seating which is a huge plus and also many seating inside. The staff were so kind and gave us details on what certain drinks tasted like which help us figure out what we wanted. Once we ordered, it was done fairly quickly and you go and pick up your drinks. The foot came out quickly as well and it not only looked tasty, it also was. My avocado toast was the perfect texture for bread, not too crunchy. The avocado was fresh and ripe and the egg was perfectly cooked. My friend had the burrito and said it had good flavor and was filling when she thought it wouldn't be. Overall, great coffee to come with friends or get some busy work done!“

“Coffeebar Roastery is my number one place to get good craft coffee. They have a limited menu so your sugary high calorie drinks aren't gonna be available but a great variety of single origin coffees is what puts them at the top of my list.Customer service is always on point even when they have many people in the line during a mini rush.They don't really have food here...just a small small amount of baked goods each day that sells out. If you need some good food go to their other location just a handful of blocks away.“

“As ex-Oaklanders from 2005, we miss Chinatown. We had dozens of Formica tabletop joints we frequented with excellent food at a reasonable price. Donut Bistro in South Reno fits the bill.... excellent Chinese fare at what we guess is a reasonable price these days. And the size of the dishes are generous, leaving some to take home for a late night snack. In addition, I bought an apple fritter on the way out the other day that was big, lots of apple, and crispy. Our backup Chinese restaurant is Duck House across from Pepper Mill.“

“This place has great coffee and tea! We've been here a few times just to make sure it's consistent before I posted a review. Well this place is consistently good! No weak flavors here! The chai is spiced and the extra touch of nutmeg and cinnamon is a great complement. The mochas are on point with a nice sweetness and chocolate bite. The coffee cups come full not half way with fluff. Today we tried a brown sugar chai, delish and creamy. If you're looking for good coffee this is the place to go. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, burritos and other eats that looked amazing!“

“This was a first time to Jack's Coffee House. It is a convenient locatiin off McCarren Blvd on E Prater. There is ample parking with handicap access. The interior was nicely decorated with a Latin theme. The staff was very friendly, accomodating and attentive. The menu had selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered the senior hotcake breakfast and blue berry hotcakes. The hotcakes were excellent. The service was great. They were very attentive. We will definitely return.“

“I can confidently say that this is one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to! I usually have pretty bad anxiety when talking to people, but I had no problem talking to the employees here. Everyone was so kind and my order was made quickly. And the coffee made my day 10 times better! The coffee shop itself is also just a very cute and calming spot. “I love a good latte and I have driven by this place so many times. Kinda located in the back area off Virginia St. One day I decided to give it a try. When I drove up I notice how big the menu was and not just for coffee but snacks as well, I decided on a cherry blossom with oat milk. The woman who was working the drive thru was also the owner and was super nice. I also noticed how many snack choices she had as well, even had vegan cookies.My latte tasted so delicious and enjoyed chatting with the owner too. If you are looking for a coffee house to sit inside then this is not the place. It is a drive thru only so stay in your jammies if you want since you dont even have to get out of your car. My only negative comment to make is I wish she offered the frequent purchase cards like most other coffee houses offer where you buy so many and get one free or cheaper. She does not offer those. So when I am on that side of town I try to get a coffee beverage at Mugshots. So, go give them a try.“

“Reno's best Starbucks store!!!! I was quite regular on the 7th and Keystone, but I moved to this for my regular coffee, water, and lemon loaf! I don't know how to say thank you to everyone, but all of the people who work here are cherry-picked! They are the most friendly ones- welcome you, serve you, and then say goodbye! The ambiance is beyond remarkable! By the way - this place has Panera Bread, Cracker Barrel, In-n-Out, Chipotle, Jamba, Chili's, and Royal India next to it - eat wherever you want, but come to this place for your coffee!!!“

“I don't know why it took me so long to find this place, it was amazing. I got the Butterscotch latte and have been craving it since I left this place. Would definitely come back just to get that drink because it was a new taste for me and very enjoyed it. Then my partner and I got the grilled cheese and I loved it, a very nice snack and the tomato soup complimented it really well. Then Tenaya was a super friendly and open employee who walked us through what was popular with the Vanilla and Butterscotch lattes and went up to my partner and I to have a friendly talk as we do work. “Came here after a big bowl of hotpot next door as we were craving a coffee and the vibrant color of the ube gelato caught my eye so I knew I had to get it! :) I got a single scoop of it and it was a huge serving! The service was great, I can't remember her name but the gal who helped us was so sweet and helpful. It is so nice to know that ube flavored ice cream is finally getting its well deserved spotlight, and Bibo has definitely figured out how to make it perfectly! Ube is very popular in the Philippines where I grew up, and this reminded me of home.“

“I was in Reno to visit a special person and she took me to one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. The staff was courteous and helpful, talking to customers with a smile and striking up conversations as orders were prepared. Truckee River Sludge is definitely the best one they have - but really, all of the flavors are delicious. More recently, we have been coming in for some ice cream. “I love The Roost!! So does my dog, she always gets lots of love and treats when we visit this spot. I love their cold brew or chocolate cream cold brew when it's hot out; they also make a delicious dirty chai. I always appreciate the decorations for all of the different times of year. “Lol I never want to give a small business a bad review but I do have feedback. I wasn't able to buy anything even though I wanted some coffee. It was a slow Sunday morning and no customers. I patiently waited while a potential candidate had a long conversation with the only person working there, without any acknowledgment i was there from the employee. I waited a few minutes and ended up leaving without even being to see what they were selling. I could have easily spoke up etc, but I think that's a bit of bad form.
