“Excellent experience from start to finish. Great food in a beautiful setting. We had the lamb, which was cooked perfectly, and the prix fixe prime rib—everything was amazing. Edgar at the host stand was very professional and knowledgeable, and our server John was fantastic and helped us choose the perfect wine. He's been working at Ciera for almost 4 decades! The manager Christin stopped by midway through our meal and was an absolute delight. She also told us about the Thursday and Sunday prix fixe menu for only $70, which is such a great value. We can't wait to return! Get the lobster escargot you won't be disappointed“

“You cant beat this place. A classic, casual and unpretentious spot, popular with locals and visitors. I love the atmosphere, especially at the bar, where you can order your favorite brew and play some cards games. They serve amazing food, my favorites are chilli and burgers. Must go in the area!“

“Here for a Saturday morning breakfast. Easy parking. Avoid parking under the tree as I saw huge pine cones fall, missing a windshield. At 8a, it was not too crowded. Service was attentive and quick. Over medium eggs were perfect and the chicken fried steak with sausage gravy was delicious and filling. Great first time visit. Will be back again the next time I’m in town.“

“We were married at the Idle Hour on June 17, 2023 and Candace and her team catered our small wedding (about 30 people). They did a fantastic job, we had marinated tri-tip, cedar planked salmon, truffle macaroni and cheese (loved by kids and adults!), roasted veggies, roasted potatoes and focaccia. Everything tasted great, the tri-tip was a perfect medium-rare and whatever they marinated it in was delicious. The salmon was soft and luscious. I wish we would have doubled the order for the mac and cheese so we could take it home and eat it the rest of the week. The veggies were a nice mix of summer squash, asparagus and mushrooms. The potatoes were seasoned well. The staff were professional and helpful; seriously so friendly and went the extra mile. The set up looked great and all of our guest complimented the food. I couldn't be happier that we chose Bella Tahoe.“

“The dishes were beautifully presented and full of fresh flavors. The sesame-crusted seared tuna with noodles was outstanding — light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with crunchy vegetables and a tangy dressing.

The salmon entrée was cooked just right — tender inside with a crispy seared edge, served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh greens, making it both rich and healthy.

“First time coming to this establishment and we were not disappointed. We have found our new pizza spot when visiting S Lake Tahoe. Pizza had great flavor, and the crust was amazing!! Our server provided excellent service and was super attentive to our needs. If you haven't tried it before, you definitely must give it a shot. They are located walking distance from Harrah's.“

“Hell's Kitchen did not disapoint as we were greeted by the hosteses and the manager Natalia. We were seated at the bar, where our bartenders Eric & James discussed delicious drink options to choose from. As you can see by the photos, they were absolutely perfect. We started with the pan seared scallops and the lobster risotto (our favorite). We also enjoyed the New York strip which was cooked perfectly. We added a side of brussel sprouts.
