The last thing that I had the pleasure of trying was the Ackee and Saltfish. It tasted like HEAVEN. I'm very picky about that dish and I don't usually order that because everyone cannot make it. “I've been visiting Johnny's for over 30+years. Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“Season's 52 at Roosevelt Field is an excellent restaurant. They have a variety of "gluten-sensitive" offerings. The flatbread starters are distinctive--at least for a person with an allergy to gluten. The ambience is generally fine. I generally prefer very quiet restaurants. Indeed, I would prefer a room for only my party. However, I am able to hear other people in a party of four with little difficulty in the this restaurant.“

“Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and given our choice of seating. (It was not that busy.) Waiter patiently brought water and waited. He saw we were enjoying the atmosphere and looking at the menu. Bread and some items of carrots, sweet peppers cheeze were placed on the table. We ordered a huge spread of shrimp, calamari, filet fish, scallops, and baked potato with sour cream. Salmon and jumbo shrimp, which also came with a baked potato. (On the house was a dish of sweet corn on the cob and yellow rice; delicious.) Delicious, delicious delicious. We could not finish. The shrimp delicate yet firm well seasoned. The salmon had a light bread topper succulent to pallet. The baked potato (would have liked chives, well cooked. We were not rushed or bothered as we sat to stuff ourselves. The mid day weekend 🙌 😎 👌. Doggy bag finished that evening, still full of flavor and joy. Sammy's, I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to experience good sea food cooking. “I came here for fresh seafood and ended up purchasing several prepared food items, since those are easy and looked well made. I tried both seafood and vegetable dishes. All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“
