“LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! We hired Seafood Emporium Fish Company to cater our wedding, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made! From the very beginning, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. But what really stood out was the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish, from the buttery lobster tails to the perfectly grilled shrimp skewers, was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Our guests are still raving about the raw bar and the crab cakes (which disappeared in minutes!). They even worked with us to accommodate dietary needs without compromising quality or taste. The service staff was attentive and friendly, and they made sure everything ran smoothly.

“I loved this place! I came with my family over the weekend and we had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, we ordered the baleadas and pupusas, and you could tell they were freshly made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service was friendly and fast, even though it was quite busy. It has definitely become our favorite place to enjoy Honduran food.“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“I picked up food here for the first time and Auntie was so incredibly welcoming. She was happy to let me sample a handful of the dishes they were serving, all of which were delicious.

The oxtail here is just phenomenal. The depth of flavor of the gravy was such a standout. My rice and peas were covered in it and I wish I had more!

The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy sauces were a great compliment.

The fresh pine ginger drink is a must have and the homemade coco bread was pillowy soft.

The chef is an absolute pro here when it comes to salinity. The seasoning was spot on for every entree without any lingering saltiness.“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“My husband and I had a lovely lunch at Captain Ihab's. The mussels were outstanding and only $5. We shared the eggplant parm which was done to perfection. No liquor license , which we knew, so we brought our own spirits. We will definitely be back and eager to try other things on the menu.“

“We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Danny was absolutely fantastic to work with—he was incredibly helpful, communicative, kind, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. He made everything feel easy and stress-free, which meant so much to us during such a busy time.
The waitstaff was also wonderful—friendly, attentive, and welcoming—and the food was absolutely amazing. Our guests had a great time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion and kick off our wedding weekend.

“I came here for fresh seafood and ended up purchasing several prepared food items, since those are easy and looked well made. I tried both seafood and vegetable dishes. All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“

“Peter’s Clam Bar is one of those classic Long Island spots that I have such fond memories of!! :-) Although it has been several years since I’ve visited Peter's, I remember my experiences so fondly that I felt compelled to share a 5-star review!!

One of the things that has always stood out to me is the incredibly kind & welcoming staff at Peter's Calm Bar. The team here always enhances the experience!! Further, there is such a friendly, laid-back feeling to this place that always makes every visit enjoyable, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Peter's Clam Bar has that quintessential Long Island seafood spot feel that is increasingly hard to find and makes it feel like much more than just a restaurant!!

The menu is also amazing, with an enormous selection of seafood with plenty of options to choose from. I distinctly remember ordering Fried Clam Strips each time I visited in childhood, which were my favorite!!

Peter’s Clam Bar is simply one of those places that has stayed in my memory over the years. This place has a GREAT atmosphere, the kindest people, and a classic Long Island vibe. I hope to make it back someday in the future!!“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“We had dinner last night. One of the girls I was with drove past this place a couple of times so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is by the water. It seems like you’re going through a neighborhood and then an industrial area. With lots of parking. What’s inside is really nice a large room not too noisy with television so you can keep an eye on sports if you want. Out the back was views of the marina and water. One of my friends needed the bathroom and was appreciative of how well it was designed and how clean it was. Our server, Kaiser, was amazing. He appeared when we needed him and allowed us to catch up. He had some good suggestions to try for drinks and dinner. And those did not disappoint. My friends ordered cocktails and they looked amazing and tasted even better according to them. They started with some appetizers. We had the zucchini chips done very well. The chip held up to being dumped in either a tomato sauce or a tzatziki sauce both of which had good flavor. The chip was still crispy light. We also ordered the octopus. It was nice to get to tentacle so we can share it. A good flavor loved the chard lemon on the side. But the start of this dish was definitely the potato salad because it was unexpected. My other girlfriend got a salad and said it was absolutely amazing. She was grateful that the portion was so large. She was able to bring it home as a lunch for tomorrow. We decided to order three dishes and Share we got the chicken special which had artichoke tomato and mozzarella on top the short ribs and then the Sole almondine. The chicken was nicely seasoned a good flavor, and the side was very good. The sauce was not too salty and very flavorful. The short roofs fell off the bone and the mashed potatoes are the way I like it a little chunky, but the gravy was very good. Green beans were except really good. The fillet of soul was covered with almonds on top, which was a very nice add of flavor and texture it had good flavor and not salt. The sides were very good also. After chatting for a while, we decided to order dessert. The Dubai chocolate order was amazing. Really good flavor not too sweet well balanced. A tuxedo cake was everything you wished we could eat when you want something chocolate. The layers of mousse mixed with the ganache was very good. Her homemade whipped cream was a nice add to cut the sweetness. So the restaurant seemed pretty busy we did not feel rushed. We definitely felt taken care of. And thoroughly enjoyed catching up with friends. Appreciated at Kaiser was able to enter with us too. Felt the pricing was there for what we ordered. They serve sizes were a good portion size and well balanced. If you know me, you know, I’m a water snob and the water was very good. I liked that they had a cute bottle to keep on the table so that you could have the water when you needed it not when the server came over to pour. I only downside would’ve been a diet soda tasted more seltzer than syrup, but it was OK. Lots more to try on the menu. Can’t wait to go back and try it.“

“Waitress was nice but not asattentive as we've come to expect at Capital Grilles, but it was crowded and peak time. After we ordered, she directed all of her attention to my hudband, and not me, even when i spoke to her she didn't seem to look at me. The kitchen made an obvious, visible mistake on my order and it was brought to our table anyway. She did not come to check with us after delivery and it took us 10-15 minutes to get her attention. She recognized the problem right away and the kitchen had it fixed quickly but my husband was pretty far into his meal by the time mine came back (I told him to eat because it would be cold if he waited.) Pretty ]poot service for a $48 chicken breast.“
