“Went to the Millbrook Cafe on a Saturday evening with my wife and sister-in-law period we started off with the seared scallops and the jumbo shrimp which were both excellent. Cooked to perfection and plentiful. Then we had the salad which was also very good and fresh. My wife had the full rack of ribs, sister in law had the avalon and shrimp, and I had the Brazilian lobster tail, shrimp and scallops. All three meals came with outstanding vegetables and red potatoes. All three meals were cooked perfectly. It is very easy to overcook lobster and shrimp but the cook was spot on, tender and juicy. Service, food and atmosphere were all top notch.
Will definitely be back!

The food, everything was homemade and our kids finished their meals before we could even take a second bite. The staff was beyond friendly, it was clean, inviting and exceeded expectations. ZERO complaints on the food... But now the bill comes. $14 (x7) for a shot of Don Julio Tequila? I almost fell over. That's simply ridiculous! Every bar/restaurant within a 50 mile radius gets $6-$7 per shot MAX! We're not in NYC .... I learned a valuable lesson tonight..... “My husband and I stopped by this diner to fill our bellies after riding our bikes on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. The staff was super friendly and food came out promptly. I had the best burger I've ever had here it was absolutely delicious. The beef was from a local farm which I will be looking up to find out how I can get said beef. I also liked their fries a lot. My husband got the French toast and didn't really care for it but the eggs and bacon were good he said. We will definitely stop by again and try some of their other menu items.“

From the Signature, Caprese Salad, the delicious brick oven pizza, the Rack of Lamb for my husband all through to dessert, everything was extremely flavorful and delicious. The hot food came out hot, a pet peeve of mine is when it comes out luke warm from sitting to be served. Here everything was perfectly temperature. And can we talk about the cocktails? I am not sure what all the negative reviews were about. We did not have any problems at all and the food hit-the-spot ! ?

I placed my order on the phone, he said it will be done in 25 min. We got there in 25 min and it was ready to go !

We brought the food back to our hotel room, the French fries were still crispy, the pesto chicken sandwich was very good. The spaghetti was made just right (noodles were perfect, the meatballs were delicious). The steak and mash potatoes were also delicious.

Would I go back again ? Absolutely !“
