“I went to this place the other day but when I got there, it was so crowded. I had to either have a 30 minute wait or sit at the bar. Obviously I sat at the bar, but the food was good. I got the chocolate chip pancakes. there was a lot I had to share with my friend. But It was a good amount for the price. I also think the atmosphere around is super cute. I love the Armonk town and I hope to come back here soon!“

“My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. Have to say no complaints. The staff very very nice and friendly. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Moderne Barn for a lovely ladies night out!“

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! I really look forward to going back!!“

We enjoyed lamb lollipops, tuna tacos, barbacoa croquettes and Brussel sprouts Au gratin - all very flavorful and well presented. Best we’ve seen in the month we’ve been living here. “A really solid place where the food was good, I really liked the burger, make sure you add the fried egg as it elevated the burger to another level.

The lollipop wings were something I never had in that form, it was cool and made for a much cleaner bite. I do wish it had a better crunch with the reduced surface area.

Dessert I tried their Krispy Kreme bread pudding topped with ice cream which was really good. That stood out being so different than what you normally will find at any other restaurant and I'd highly recommend it.

Overall this is a very solid local spot to visit where it has both a bar atmosphere on one side, and a sit down restaurant where you can bring the family on the other.“

My steak sandwich was cooked to order - medium rare, and tender - but was under-seasoned and the bun served on was plain. I.e., steak, onions, and cheese on plain bread which, given how great the rest was, came as a surprise.

Overall I gladly recommend; just avoid the steak sandwich.“

My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

“Barley House is a really nice clean pub. You know when you walk into a place and you smile 😊and feel like you're going to enjoy the visit? The Barely House does that. The staff was super welcoming. The space has plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Plus a walk that folds away so your in / out. I ordered the Barley House burger with homemade potato 🥔 chips. So good!!! My husband ordered a cheese burger and loved it also. They have an area outside set up for the soccer ⚽ games with TVS and everything. There is plenty of free parking. I will be back! “Love this place! This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends and family. I highly recommend the grilled peach ricotta toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich, the everything pigs in a blanket, the crispy brussels sprouts and any of the smoothies. YUM!

The moss wall art is STUNNING!

The whole restaurant and bar area is really beautiful. Wish they’d bring back dinner and happy hour so I could go more often with my husband and daughter. But happy to continue to visit for lunch until then :)“
