“My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. “Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“This peruvian restaurant not only has beyond delicious meats of chicken, beef and salmon but has a huge selection of vegetables which most peruvian restaurants dont offer. They served the mayo on the side so it wasn't slathered too heavily and the side chips were great, not greasy or salty. I substituted a salad for the chips and it was generous and fresh. “I took my family here for dinner last week, and it was truly the best Applebee’s I’ve ever visited. We were greeted and seated immediately upon walking in, which set a great tone for the evening.
Our server, Karla, was incredibly kind and attentive. She took the time to explain the menu and specials to my family, going into detail about the Pick 2 deal and even offering helpful recommendations.
When our food was ready, it was promptly brought out by one of the managers, Miguel, who was very friendly and checked to see if we needed anything else.

“We used to host a number of events here many years ago, but stopped due to covid. Finally was able to go back for another networking event. I cannot say enough about how great this place is still. Everything was amazing. From the front of the house Staff, waiters and bartenders. I have yet to be disappointed in the food or drinks. “Barley House is a really nice clean pub. You know when you walk into a place and you smile 😊and feel like you're going to enjoy the visit? The Barely House does that. The staff was super welcoming. The space has plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Plus a walk that folds away so your in / out. I ordered the Barley House burger with homemade potato 🥔 chips. So good!!! My husband ordered a cheese burger and loved it also. They have an area outside set up for the soccer ⚽ games with TVS and everything. There is plenty of free parking. I will be back! My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

“Love this place! This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends and family. I highly recommend the grilled peach ricotta toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich, the everything pigs in a blanket, the crispy brussels sprouts and any of the smoothies. YUM!

“My lunch was excellent the Citrus Lime Salad with skirt steak perfectly cooked medium and so tender. The salad wasn't overly dressed. My daughter had the cheese tortellini pasta she said the sauce was too sweet. The views from the dining room were great. We entered during a rush period so the service was a little slow and it was a little chilly in the dining room. Overall a great lunch!“

“Two door is amazing. They have a really good lunch service weekdays (burgers, grilled sandwiches, fries etc. It's not fancy but just really good honest food cooked to order. Chicken parmigiana on Thursday is a local phenomenon as are the Fish and Chips on Friday night. Both nights sell out fast. This place speaks for itself. There are few places with legitimate original character these days. Frequent them, embrace them and support them in all their rustic glory you'll be richer for the experience!“

“Chat American Grill is one of my go-to restaurants in Scarsdale. I’ve been here many times with family, and everything I’ve tried so far has been consistently good. Their salmon burger is one of my favorites, and the truffle fries are honestly some of the best I’ve had at any restaurant. During brunch, I love getting the crab meat omelet — it comes with greens and oven-roasted potatoes, and it never disappoints.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a nice, slightly upscale feel without being too formal. They also have a great outdoor seating area that’s perfect in the summer. Reservations are definitely recommended, especially during peak times. Parking in the area is usually pretty manageable.

Overall, Chat is a solid choice for good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I keep going back for a reason.“

“I was so happy to see that Fair Deal Cafe on Mamaroneck Avenue reopened. I was so upset when they closed. I drove by last week and saw the lights on. Sure enough, they are back and even better, under the original ownership. We just got our Italian combo fix today. One of the best in Westchester County. It's more diner style now but of course they still offer take out and delivery. Stop by and give them a try!“

“The original chefs left from Hubba Hubba to open their own place and the spot is open until 5 a.m. too! But way cleaner and less sketchy. I always get their chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese and chilli. Their chilli is SO spicy and is so special to me because it reminds me of my childhood. I spent so many years trying to eat the chilli when I went there with my dad and sister when I was in elementary school, but it was always too hot. Finally one day I did it!! With Texas water on the side and some chilli cheese fries. Now it's my still my favorite place to get my spicy cravings. And even though my dad doesn't live here anymore, he still wants to go to Texas Chili every time he visits and he always asks me to bring him chilli when I go see him!!!“
