“My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. Have to say no complaints. The staff very very nice and friendly. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Moderne Barn for a lovely ladies night out!“

Absolutely amazing experience! The food tastes just like authentic home-cooked meals—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and arrived hot and well-packed. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients.

“This was my first time going to this restaurant. I was a member of Willow Ridge Country Club for years and I know it was sold the town of Harrison but it is normally not on my radar for restaurants, but that changed last night the menu was fantastic and the prices were reasonable in this economy.The service was good and I know when people really learn about it I probably won't be able to get a reservation! I can't wait until the warmer weather comes because I will be going very often and eating outside! By the way, our waitress Sabrina was very attentive, and her service was outstanding“

“Overall experience was fair, service was not that attentive. I felt rushed like I had to eat as fast as I could and leave, the syrup for the French toast was cold, and I order scrambled eggs with cheese with my dish but the egss didn't come out until I was almost done with my French Toast. The coffee is really good, overall I been to Lilly's several times and I will continue to go back, as this one error doesn't take over the overall experiences I've had at the restaurant. The 1 thing I would suggest is put the hostess at the entrance of the tent not the back door of the restaurant, this would eleviate new arriving guest of walking back and forht through other patrons who sitting down and eating, and allow the hostess to thank the guest for coming when they are leaving. Just a suggestion from someone with 30 years experience in the restaurant sector. JC“

“The restaurant has a lot of good food and I'm really looking forward to more good food“

“Love this place! This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends and family. I highly recommend the grilled peach ricotta toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich, the everything pigs in a blanket, the crispy brussels sprouts and any of the smoothies. YUM!

The moss wall art is STUNNING!

The whole restaurant and bar area is really beautiful. Wish they’d bring back dinner and happy hour so I could go more often with my husband and daughter. But happy to continue to visit for lunch until then :)“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“Where we were seated was a little loud at first but it got quieter over the length of the dinner. Everything tasted great. The staff were great and very attentive. It was my wife's birthday. They surprised her with a dessert with a candle and everyone made a point to wish her a happy birthday as we exited the restaurant which was a nice touch. “Went to the restaurant for the first time since it was refurbished. Very nice!! Made dinner reservations for two and were seated promptly. Our server, Sandra, was exceptional. Our drink order was taken in a timely fashion. Both cocktails were delicious. We ordered the Ricotta Gnodi for our appetizer and it was very tasty. For the main course we each ordered the Ora King Salmon. I thought mine was slightly undercooked. As a side, we shared the truffle fries...hefty portion and were crisp and tasty. For desert we shared the Affogato. It was creamy and refreshing. All in all, a great night out. A little pricey, but based on the service, menu variety, and the food quality, we will definitely be back.“

“Parking is a BIG issue for this restaurant, just a suggestion for Valet services in the future. The food however was FANTASTIC..had the grilled ( not fried ) Calamari and the filet Mignon and lobster tail. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature, portion size was generous. But most importantly the fish was not fishy smelling or tasting which means the quality of food is good. I will definitely go back on an off night to see if parking is any better.. but strongly suggest Valet.“

“This is a good chain with consistent Burgers and decent Fries, but the winner is the chicken sandwich and Gluten free fried chicken and collard green wraps.
The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

My daughter had the cheese tortellini pasta she said the sauce was too sweet. The views from the dining room were great. “Chat American Grill is one of my go-to restaurants in Scarsdale. I’ve been here many times with family, and everything I’ve tried so far has been consistently good. Their salmon burger is one of my favorites, and the truffle fries are honestly some of the best I’ve had at any restaurant. During brunch, I love getting the crab meat omelet — it comes with greens and oven-roasted potatoes, and it never disappoints.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a nice, slightly upscale feel without being too formal. They also have a great outdoor seating area that’s perfect in the summer. Reservations are definitely recommended, especially during peak times. Parking in the area is usually pretty manageable.

Overall, Chat is a solid choice for good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I keep going back for a reason.“
