“A friend of my wife’s told me I had to stop here and grab a Cajun chicken sandwich with extra sauce and it was amazing! Looking at the reviews it looks like you can’t miss with a chicken cutlet sandwich of any kind. Reasonable prices, incredible sandwiches, bodega vibes. I’ll be getting more sandwiches on my way through Scarsdale from here.“

“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

So grab your breakfast and your lunch before you head to the train! (Tip- they offer for a free soda with the lunch special). Beautiful koi fish outside parking lot in the back. Great! The fool was fantastic and you have to go there. He makes a 6-ft wedge Italian combo. You tell him how big you want it and he'll sell it. Juan, the owner, went above and beyond when he catered my son’s first birthday. He was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. “I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“
