“My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. Have to say no complaints. The staff very very nice and friendly. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Moderne Barn for a lovely ladies night out!“

“It was delicious, but I should have looked at the menu closer. Everyone else's meal looked amazing, and mine was just normal. Particularly, the French toast with blueberries and Buenos ranchers looked Particularly good, and my friends who ordered them were very happy.“

“I’m definitely giving this place five stars. Service was fine. The food was well above average. I can easily say the gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had and there’s no distant second in sight. The peanut butter chocolate mousse was good but it had a lot more chocolate than PB taste. I did notice one review complained about the smell. I think the men’s room was cleaned with straight vinegar. A little weird, but no big deal.“

“Love this place! This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends and family. I highly recommend the grilled peach ricotta toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich, the everything pigs in a blanket, the crispy brussels sprouts and any of the smoothies. YUM!

“HMCC is an incredibly underrated restaurant. Perhaps it’s due to the golf course being a predominant feature of this site, but the Social Kitchen and Bar shouldn’t be disregarded. Why more folks haven’t visited this restaurant is unknown to me. This is at least the fifth meal I’ve had here over the course of two years, and I’m delightfully impressed by the layers of flavors in every dish. The red cabbage coleslaw adds a refreshing break from the deep fried chicken breast that is the crunchy, juicy, star of the sandwich (as it should be). Even more unexpected is the slice of pickled green tomato added in lieu of the typical pickle topping - this seemingly benign addition to the sandwich adds a burst of light vinegar to cut through the richness of the other ingredients and brings it all together. Folks should frequent this spot, as the menu changes with the season and you never know what creative culinary creations the chef will introduce.“

“Really enjoyed this restaurant. My wife and I wanted to grab food before our movie at the playhouse. We are so glad we did. The Octopus appetizer was amazing, cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the duck which was superb and again the seasoning was perfect. The vegetable medley that came with it was outstanding. My wife had the artichokes. I didn't try them but she said they were great. For dessert we had the fig tart with ice cream and it was amazing. The service was great. We will definitely be back.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“Found this place almost by accident - it was quiet and surprisingly empty for a late Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is classy and modern, with intimate lighting. Service was prompt and attentive, and the food was excellent. We had the branzino, swordfish, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and lava cake for dessert. I will definitely come back for another meal, and it feels like a well-kept secret - for now.“

“We have been back several times now and each time has reinforced our feeling that it's a local favorite. Last night the oysters were superb—bright, a bit salty, like the ocean. “Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.“

“We had a wonderful 50th anniversary celebration at The Kittle House Inn on Saturday, October 11th.

We worked with Katina Rodriguez at the venue to plan the event. The venue has been recently renovated and it is just beautiful; a lovely upscale venue with gorgeous light and windows that give such pretty views.

The food was fabulous, the bartender was great with the guests, our maitre d was very attentive and the valet guys were friendly and so helpful with our guests.

I would highly recommend this venue for any special event.“

“First time eating here. Appreciate the order kiosk, so that I can make sure my order is entered correctly. Food (burger, fries and shake) were presented to me as ordered and were pretty good tastewise. Entered the premises at about 7:15 on a Friday night, so there was a lot of traffic. They have an outdoor eating area that appeared pleasant, although we stayed inside to track our order and decided to remain in place once it arrived. Wait was long (15-20 minutes) but that's not a surprise considering the time of day. The staff appeared to be going all out to get the orders through, so kudos to them. Will definitely consider returning here if in the area. Restaurant is located in a shopping center, just off of 287, so there is plenty of parking.“
