“The owner is very friendly and kind. He ordered chicken and beef burrito. The ingredients are very rich, delicious and cheap. After the burrito is wrapped with the filling, it will be fried on a hot plate and it will be crispy. Taste. Best burritos I've had during my trip to the US!“
“This is the best deli in the area. Unpretentious fresh delicious food at very reasonable prices. You can't go wrong at this place. The veal parm won't be beat.“
“I hope this place gets more reviews and exposure in the future. If you live awkwardly between Broadway and 30th Ave you'd understand how important this place is when you need a snack or a sandwich to keep you full. It helps that the people working there are incredibly nice.“

“A variety of selection on food, snacks and drinks. The deli has a wide selection of cold cuts, sandwiches and wraps. They have a smoothie bar as well. The store is always clean. Parking is a bit hard but they do have a front section where people double park pick up food and leave. Definitely recommend their food.“
“Been going here for a few years for many miscellaneous items. Whether it was ATM, snacks, and small grocery items. The demeanor of the workers and atmosphere is always bright and welcoming; and that's an understatement in-itself. Strongly recommend!“
“The prices for sandwiches are GREAT for the flavor and freshness but you don’t get a lot of product. For instance on a sandwich the tomato is sliced so razor thin it looks like a light pink piece of transparent paper. Also barely any lettuce but it’s always super fresh. That the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.“
“Came in a pinch! Happy I found this deli on a work outing early one morning. Delicious egg sandwiches made with care, and Steve was super friendly and helpful. Clean store—good vibes too. Loved that he had a clearly printed menu I could look at since I hate squinting up at signs. You can tell it’s one of those local hidden gem delis—I’m eager to visit again when I’m in the area! Note: it is cash only.“

“This place is great, the food is always great, but also fresh, they dont make it and leave in in the fridge for days like in some kitchens I've worked in. Its clearly fresh, clean and you can see it being made. The food is also fair priced and the workers are very friendly. Great atmosphere to be in while having lunch or something. Would recommend to anybody and everybody.“
“After walking by for weeks, I took a chance to try their coffee and food. As everyone has mentioned, it's part cafe, part grocery store; you can browse while you're waiting for your order or sit down at their cute tables. My mom and I ordered La Capra Affamata, one of their vegetarian paninis. Made with a soft and rustic focaccia, goat cheese, roasted peppers, eggplants, and mushrooms it is then topped off with fresh arugula and balsamic vinegar. That sandwich was delicious, fresh, and perfect for a light pick-me-up. They have a variety of other paninis, but I'm looking forward to trying their apple and Brie panini next. After the sandwich, we ordered coffee with soy milk on the side. Their coffee has the perfect robust flavor with a small (hot) starting at $1.75. Soy milk here is 50 cents extra, the carafe served with the coffee is substantial for the price you pay-others places can charge up to $1.00 for soy milk! If soy milk isn't your thing (or you're allergic) they also have other non-dairy milks available. We shared a slice of their pie to pair with our coffees. The pie was not too sweet and was topped with tart and sweet blackberries, raspberries, and red currants; underneath this fruity layer lied a layer of fresh cream and a delicious, flaky crust. The place is very cozy and intimate it's perfect for working, writing, and grabbing a bite to eat. The workers there were very nice and helpful, we spent an extra hour speaking with Antonio and one of the regulars. I highly recommend it for a great cup of coffee (without breaking the bank), delicious treats (croissants, muffins, coronets, the list goes on), as well as a comfortable European atmosphere.“

“Ordered relatively late night takeout (9pm) and it was really good and really cheap. We got the pastrami and chicken cutlet with brown gravy sandwiches. Together it all cost less than twenty dollars. The cutlet was fantastic; the pastrami was not up to same caliber as Katz’s, Sarge’s, David’s, Pastrami Queen, etc. but was totally fine—and it only cost like 8 dollars (not to mention that we live a block from this place). Will definitely eat again“
“If you thought the whole foods specialty section for alcohol was worth bragging about then you obviously haven’t been to rallys. Richard is the man, If you have an idea of how you want your night to go he can point out the drinks that will make that vision a reality ??“

“I visit Parkside daily for my iced coffee and various odds and ends. The staff are SO nice and friendly, they always have what I need in a pinch and it's my corner store life-saver when I run out of an ingredient for dinner. Clean, convenient, and it's always a pleasure to see the guys. This place is awesome.“

“By far my favorite deli in the neighborhood! I walk an extra 5 to 7mins because I love the guys that work in the store! They always greet me and say hello and make me laugh or smile before leaving. The prices here are way more reasonable than the other deli where you pay like 13 for a BEC and Coffee at this place its $8. They are located under the train and always have customers! If it's a weekend and you're looking to call and order food b4 1030am you fine after that gets pretty busy.“

“fell inlove with st james quesadillas from the moment I tried it ! The chicken quesadilla are my go to order, I love the crunchiness of the hard shell with cheese on the bottom, their signature green sauce is out of this world and is what makes the place so great. I would recommend to call and pick up your order since Its located inside a deli which sometimes can get packed and feel a bit overwhelming. Definitely recommend if you are around the area and in the mood for some quesadillas !“

“I love the morning crew. The meals are made to order. Despite the busy rush they get things down!
NOW for the night crew.. the chubby white guy is the worst! Overcharges on various occasions!! The gentleman who makes the sandwiches happens to always mess up my order. I’m a regular and will just shop in the AM!“

“We arrived a little too early before the restaurant opened, but the waitress let us in 30 mins early. We were hungry and wanted to order lamb chops. Alas, we had to order veal instead. And I asked for a tarama -my starting point for any Greek meal and lemon potatoes, another favorite of mine. The veal was tender and delicious and tarama along with warm bread was very tasty. Gregory's Corner is perhaps one the best small taverna in Astoria. What they lack in choices on the menu, they make up in service. The waitress who took our order was really on point and gave us solid recommendations. Gregory's is a nice cozy spot with a truly Mediterranean feel. The tables are well-spaced, and the decor is bright and breezy. Outside the restaurant is a little hard to make out up the street and is covered with too much foliage. The entrance is not clearly marked. Inside you can hear the waitress and owner arguing and speaking in Greek. It got a little intence at times, but was fun“
