“This is the best deli in the area. Unpretentious fresh delicious food at very reasonable prices. You can't go wrong at this place. The veal parm won't be beat.“

“The owner is very friendly and kind. He ordered chicken and beef burrito. The ingredients are very rich, delicious and cheap. After the burrito is wrapped with the filling, it will be fried on a hot plate and it will be crispy. Taste. Best burritos I've had during my trip to the US!“

“The prices for sandwiches are GREAT for the flavor and freshness but you don’t get a lot of product. For instance on a sandwich the tomato is sliced so razor thin it looks like a light pink piece of transparent paper. Also barely any lettuce but it’s always super fresh. That the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.“

“Heard a lot about this place and been wanting to see if it lived up to the hype. It certainly did and more. We ordered the two items many speak about, The Bomb and the Italian Combo. Both were huge and delicious. Although we preferred the Bomb more, but that our choice. On top of the sandwiches we had, they had a number of others that looked just as delicious as watched others pick there’s up as we waited. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and you can’t be the price for such amazing sandwiches. We’ll definitely be back for more. Just a heads up. They only take cash. Its clearly fresh, clean and you can see it being made. The food is also fair priced and the workers are very friendly. Great atmosphere to be in while having lunch or something. “We arrived a little too early before the restaurant opened, but the waitress let us in 30 mins early. We were hungry and wanted to order lamb chops. Alas, we had to order veal instead. And I asked for a tarama -my starting point for any Greek meal and lemon potatoes, another favorite of mine. The veal was tender and delicious and tarama along with warm bread was very tasty. Gregory's Corner is perhaps one the best small taverna in Astoria. What they lack in choices on the menu, they make up in service. The waitress who took our order was really on point and gave us solid recommendations. Gregory's is a nice cozy spot with a truly Mediterranean feel. The tables are well-spaced, and the decor is bright and breezy. Outside the restaurant is a little hard to make out up the street and is covered with too much foliage. The entrance is not clearly marked. Inside you can hear the waitress and owner arguing and speaking in Greek. It got a little intence at times, but was fun“

“Came in a pinch! Happy I found this deli on a work outing early one morning. Delicious egg sandwiches made with care, and Steve was super friendly and helpful. Clean store—good vibes too. Loved that he had a clearly printed menu I could look at since I hate squinting up at signs. You can tell it’s one of those local hidden gem delis—I’m eager to visit again when I’m in the area! “I come here weekly for smoothies and post workout food. I love a few of the smoothies especially the Duke’s Avocado smoothie with protein. Their food is good too, I like the burgers!

There is also a huge variety of drinks and snacks here. Great pitstop after working out, or before getting on the subway as the store is located right next to the train.“

“What an amazing deli! We haven’t had time to take photos of our food because it’s so hot, fresh and delicious we just dive in.
The staff are lovely and put so much effort into their food!
We are staying at a hotel close by but it’s worth a train ride out of NYC to discover this hidden gem.

“I live right near the deli and I go there a lot. One time I got pretty high and I was craving literally any food so I went to the deli ordered 2 beef patties, and guac with chips and I went home and ate it all while ascending to heaven. Food is made with love and it all tastes so good.“
