The flavors were authentic, rich, and beyond delicious. Our waiter was the cherry on top: super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The kind of service that makes you feel like family. “The food here is beyond amazing. If you’re thinking about trying it, just go! This is my 2nd time in less than 7 days ordering from here because it was so so good the first time. I’ve passed by this place multiple times as I am in Astoria a lot but so sad that it took me this long to give it a try. The chicken here is so tender and juicy that it just falls off the bones! The jerk chicken is the most authentic dish I’ve had here in NY compared to having it in Jamaica and I have tried multiple places here looking for that Jamaican touch so that says a lot! The sides my husband and I got were the rice, mac & cheese & sweet potatoes both times. I cannot even begin to explain how good it was.

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. I no longer live in Astoria but make the very long drive to enjoy my absolute favorite Afghan food - probably ever. The food is so authentic and the flavors have never changed! I highly recommend their rice dishes especially the chicken kebab. My husband always gets the combo it’s so much food for a reasonable price. The ownership has never changed it tells you a lot about the place. Please don’t ever leave 💛💛“

“I stopped in on my way home from Rhode Island to Philadelphia. I made the stop because this place has amazing authentic food. I use to live in Queens and came here every week. I since moved a few years back and I will stop here every time I get a chance. Love the owner, very friendly and kind and he hands out free falafel throughout the day.“

“It's a food truck I love getting a free falafel but sometimes they give me one less in my platter so why is that menue says 6 for a platter reason for 3 stats is I can't see the hit sauce and its too hot so I wish they could just give the sauce in a cup would be nice if there was more rice n salad I mean ten buck s cmon fellas how come you have to hand me 5 falafel makes me feel dumb inside“

“I have only had take out. This is the best fried chicken in Queens. Seasoning is on point and chicken stays crispy and juicy on delivery. The spicy chicken is really good with a great heat level. Biscuits are amazing as well. Never disappoints.“

Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. “Someone had brought me here my first time years ago. I was skeptical and I’m one of those friends who, after years of knowing each other… you already know my preference and I trust you. After my friend bought me a chicken sandwich I had to come back for more. Fresh ingredients, clean establishment and home made style menu. This spot is Halal Comfort food.
PS: My bro-friend brought me here & I usually eat here with bro-friends. Otherwise I take it to go but usually the men are respectful especially the male staff.
It’s where I go after a bad day to make it alright.
