I was on the hunt for a place to surprise my husband he’s been craving real Moroccan food and this spot absolutely hit the mark! From the very first bite, it felt like a little trip back home. “Perfect spot to eat fresh and affordable food. Service is great and fast, very delicious and clean.
But those white paper straws are something that I must comment, white paper is bleached and poisonous for people, also making food and the drink something you don’t want to put in your mouth. One and only reason I cant sit inside and dine in.“

I’ve passed by this place multiple times as I am in Astoria a lot but so sad that it took me this long to give it a try. The chicken here is so tender and juicy that it just falls off the bones! The jerk chicken is the most authentic dish I’ve had here in NY compared to having it in Jamaica and I have tried multiple places here looking for that Jamaican touch so that says a lot! The sides my husband and I got were the rice, mac & cheese & sweet potatoes both times. I cannot even begin to explain how good it was.

On top of how good the food was, the owner is SUCH a sweetheart. I am truly hoping he opens up a location in the Bronx so I can order from here more often!!“

“Probably the best Halal food on Broadway. He is reasonable, friendly, and most importantly, the food is incredible! He even gives you a couple falafels while you wait! The only thing is that you have to catch him because he’s not there all the time.“

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. Very authentic Afghani food at very reasonably priced. On the top of that great friendly service.

“I mostly come for the falafel but I ordered kefta and shawafel. I wasn't expecting the enormous amount of meat they put in the kefta platter. I'd say it's a bit pricey, but unfortunately, that's how much everything costs these days. I want the falafel all the time, but have to stop myself because too much takeout is bad for the health and the wallet, but oh it's delicious.“

“I have only had take out. This is the best fried chicken in Queens. Seasoning is on point and chicken stays crispy and juicy on delivery. The spicy chicken is really good with a great heat level. Biscuits are amazing as well. Never disappoints.“

Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. Take the poor reviews of this business and set them aside as merely bad judgment on the reviewer's. This is not a fast food restaurant! Expect to wait a little, but you will be satisfied.Their Steinway Halal cart outside offers half chicken and kabobs over rice. Delicious!“

“Someone had brought me here my first time years ago. I was skeptical and I’m one of those friends who, after years of knowing each other… you already know my preference and I trust you. After my friend bought me a chicken sandwich I had to come back for more. Fresh ingredients, clean establishment and home made style menu. This spot is Halal Comfort food.
PS: My bro-friend brought me here & I usually eat here with bro-friends. Otherwise I take it to go but usually the men are respectful especially the male staff.
It’s where I go after a bad day to make it alright.
