“This place should be 5 stars if it wasn’t for their bartender. I have never received such uncomfortable and rude service in my life. Otherwise, the food and prices are fantastic and it’s a wonderful place in Astoria. But save yourself and don’t sit at bar when Ernest is working.“

“Bai Sushi may seem like a small run-of-the-mill takeout restaurant from the outside, but they are so much more. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff make for a wonderful dining experience. The food is amazing (raw or cooked). There’s something for everyone who likes Sushi or Japanese cuisine. They also accommodate if you have dietary needs. Sit in or take out, DEFINITELY stop by!!!“

“Nice little sushi shop with a good selection of different rolls and other items. They have a good amount of seating. Ideal of a casual sit in spot and also takeout. We got takeout and tried the sweet potato roll and the shrimp california roll, both great! Pricing was good and service was great and friendly.“

“Just ordered food tonight had the chicken yaki udon and a tuna avocado roll with crunch snd scallion. I walk by often when taking my son to the playground, it’s no frills and hole in the wall. The prices were great $12.95 for chicken yaki udon and $6.50 for the roll. The sauce for the udon was so so good and the tuna was very fresh. I received the dish within 25 minutes. I would absolutely order again!“

“I’ve been coming here for the past 2-3 years, it’s my fave spot to just chill and have some drinks. The food is great! I recommend the Hibachi. The sushi is fresh. The vibes and music is awesome. They have a DJ on Friday’s and he’s incredible. Plays everything. The drinks are delicious. Overall 100/10“

“Tokyo Ya is a hiden gem best shushi all you can eat place. everything was cooked to perfection. Price is the cheapest AYCE. Quality of fish super fresh just melts on your mouth. went twice with no disappointment. server was awesome and food came right away. the electronic ordering is cool awesome. first time ever giving a review to a place I really like and did not disappointed me at all. 10/10 ( from an enthusiastic AYCE Gal)“
