“We LOVED Arepas Cafe. We heard about it from the Taste Buds series on TikTok, and it did not disappoint. The vibe / atmosphere is so fun, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out hot and FRESH. An order of empanadas and one arepa was plenty of food for two. This was a wonderful little neighborhood spot and I would highly recommend!“

“I pass this place all the time but never thought to stop in. Big mistake! The other morning I finally decided to give it a try and ordered a late breakfast via DoorDash. I went with the Venezuelan Breakfast, and wow, it was incredible. The shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, the caraotas (black beans) were flavorful, and the arepa was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs and sweet maduros rounded everything out and made the meal so satisfying. Now I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!“

“Everything was absolutely DECADENT.I ordered their pulled beef bowl as a main it had the perfect mix of fresh greens, savory beans and rice, sweet plantains, refreshing avocado and the sauciest flavorful beef!I got their tequeños and Yucas as starters and they were also so delicious and their sauce paired perfectly.Price is so reasonable for the portions. Would highly recommend and I will be back. Get their passion fruit drink ?

“This steak arepa burger was all I needed when it came to protein. Called the picana arepa burger. No sauce even better. Just pure juicy steak. All I can say is the passion fruit juice. Lay off the sugar. It was way too sweet. I’d prefer getting passion fruit in Colombia where it’s not over powered with sugar. Other than that, my meal was perfect.“

“Try their Pabellon Arepa! You will forget your name and lose your mind. It is a masterpiece, chef-d'oeuvre. Insanely delicious. And don’t leave it unattended on the table! I am from upstate New York. We have hundreds of Mexican restaurants up there and none of them can make Arepa even close to La Napa’s.“

“Nice spot to relax after a long walk with nice lounge sofas, near battery park , food was very good , the chicken arepa was nice and big and filled with chicken , definitely fills you and can’t eat nothing else . I wanted to try chicha but had to try frescolita and remember my home back in Venezuela .“

“BEST VENEZUELAN EMPANADAS IN TOWN!!
We ordered through Uber Eats and they arrived in about 20–30 minutes, still warm and absolutely delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, with generous filling in every bite. The meat was beautifully seasoned, not too salty, not bland at all. You can really taste the care put into them.
I 100% recommend them and will definitely order again!“

“My family is from Venezuela and I was visiting my husband’s family in West NY, so I found this little spot and it brought me back! They have all the sweet treats when I was a kid (Toronto, Suzy, Cocosette). I wanted to try it all so I had the mixed Venezuelan platter, con tequeños, arepitas con carne y pollo, yuca, and empanaditas. I also got some bebidas de Parchita y Guanabana for me and the hubby. It was yummy and worth going back! Gracias!“

We tried the smoothies 6 & 7 wow… really refreshing and yummy for the summer.
Food is delicious.
Paid $40 for two dishes and 2 smoothies.
I think it was a great deal.
As I waited I grew “HUNGRY” for all the bites and fried pastelitos they were taking out…so I feel for the PALITOS
De queso… they also gifted me one to try with the sauces…
And excellent experience. If I lived closer I will come often!

“Their Patacon is truly special. The fresh lechuga, tomatoes, & creamy sauces rich with flavor all compliment the well seasoned shredded beef. One of my favorite comfort foods so I was extremely excited to have found this place near my area. I’ll definitely be coming back & trying their Arepas, Tacuchos, & Cachapas.“

“De pasada por New Jersey me conseguí con este lugar, el cual era de empanadas, más de 40 tipos de empanadas, desde empanadas de nutella hasta empanadas de pizza, la at nación fue excelente, me encontré con este lugar que es como estar en Venezuela, tenían desde Malta hasta Cocosette... De verdad muy bueno los recomiendo! Si estas en New York no dejes de visitarlo!!!“
