“Came to New York from Florida and was on the hunt for an authentic deli for the famous BECSPK and came across brothers deli.
Upon walking in, the young man at the register was dealing with a customer fighting over 5 cents trying to scam the store. I watched it all unfold. The worker kept his cool, stayed firm on his response and professional.
Even after the customer left he didn’t complain about the interaction! I like that!
We joked and talked about visiting home ( NY) after being away for many years and the nostalgic candies we saw waiting.
Needless to say, we came back almost daily for their breakfast. Absolutely perfect, they accommodated our allergy request and was greeted with a smile and nice conversation each time. There is something special about knowing your value in a store and they definitely made us feel welcome, for a little corner deli, They are making a nice footprint in the community!
We would love to comeback and say hi during our next visit!

“Catered this weekend - Italian Chicken Cutlet Supreme was awesome. Fresh and delicious. Stuffed cherry peppers were a hit. Salads were amazing but Mediterranean salad was my favorite. Pecan ring with whipped cream was gone in minutes. Thank you Mark (and Milton) for a delicious afternoon remembering my dad with family.“

“Places like this are why I say Long Island NY has the best food in the world. The staff looks and acts like they're focused on quality food and service. The deli itself is clean and organized. Get one of their sandwiches (I recommend corned beef) and for about 12 bucks you have a fine lunch or dinner.“

“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.“

It's usually a line because everybody's trying to get their order.But definitely worth the wait. I'm definitely going back to get a smoothie“

“They know me on a first name basis. The food is all freshly prepared. If they don’t have something and you ask for it they will order it for you. Most bodegas don’t use Boars head meats or mayo. They use Hellmans and boars head which is the same. I go by many bodegas to get to this one and it is well worth it. And I am disabled and they have access for me to go right in the store. They treat you like family“

“I ordered through Uber last night and I wasn't expecting much. It was prepared very quickly! I'm not someone who really likes smoothies but we all need to be a little healthier right? I got the dragon watermelon smoothie and I was highly impressed! It was perfect, and even filled me up. I also grabbed some steak tacos. I didn't particularly enjoy the tortilla, I wish it was a regular flour tortilla. However the flavorful steak made up for it! I wasn't expecting to find such a gem but it truly is! This is not that big of a deal but the man at the counter argued with me that I ordered French fries, instead of offering to fix the $40 order. It was 8:50am and I already had ordered hash browns with my breakfast; I wouldn’t have ordered French fries with that.“
