“Came here for lunch after a day out with my mom and my kids. Decided to try this place after my mom said she heard good things about it. The service was okay, didn't like the waitress that was serving us but the other waiters were good. We ordered shrimp fried rice, fried dumplings, jam poong, and jap chae bap. I really liked the jam poong the soup was amazing and just right not too salty and not too spicy. So much seafood and veggies. I will definitely come back and try something else on the menu.”
“As far as a chain for Subway this is by far the cleanest and nicest one to dine in New York city even the floor was kept clean. I love it because it has parking space because I had to go out of my way to come here, the nearby subway doesn't look as clean. Compliment on the lady working there presenting her smiles to customers which is rare in NY. The store supervisor was proactively resolving the register system issue. Subway has long been having problems with their POS. Good to know they are the only one in the area that accepts national coupon/gift cards properly while most other Subways I been to just straight out refused to accept them.”
“It was a great show. I can’t imagine this as a great food but every thing is better with unlimited saki and amazing companies. My wife and I had a great time. It wasn’t hard to find just under staircase and you felt transported out of New York. The food is amazing. They put up a great show and quality is reasonable. I enjoy the food but you can really drunk with the saki.Amazing restaurant and definitely a visit if you are in town. Experience depends on the host.”
“We were a brunch party of 12 at 12. Friendly warm staff greeted us as soon as we arrived. Every staff member was attentive. I mean everyone in passing acknowledged us with a friendly smile and asked if our needs were being met.The food was delicious ! Every one of our dishes from waffles, pancakes, steak, fried rice , everything that came from the kitchen to our table was great.Thank you QueensBoro we really had a great experience.”
“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.”
“Food was delicious. Spicy, but not in a bad way. I enjoyed my meal. Many people got the soup and they all said it was delicious. Service was quick and nice. Atmosphere was calm. They have a full bar. It felt a bit expensive for what you got.”
“Thanks for the service, delicious food! The young girl with red hair is very nice and pretty... I will definitely return for other good tacos and for her quality of service.”
“Ada was our waitress. Very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable about what sauces to pair with our food. I would recommend this place if you love good food and great service!!”
“Omakase was aite. Took very long for each course to come out. Approximate time was 2 hours for the entire 12 omakase set. It was 7 pieces of sushi, 1 sorta handroll, 3 appetizers and one dessert.”
“I will rate this place somewhere between three and four. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were courteous and friendly, well deserved 5-star rating. The food is a hit and miss. You need to know what to order in this place, otherwise, the dining experience could be unpleasant to your palates. The ribs in the cage looked fun but not impressive while eating them. The bathrooms were super unpleasant. It is a publicly shared bathroom and is poorly managed.Vegetarian options: There were not a lot of vegetable dishes here, but decent selections. Need to specify no meat for special dietary requirementsParking: The parking lot is expensive in the basement, and SUPER DIRTY AND SMELLY in the stairwells.”
“Best Italian fresh mozzarella in New York City, including Brooklyn.Arthur Ave in the Bronx is truly the last "Little Italy" in the NY metro area. And I'm someone who grew up near Our Lady of Pompeii in Greenwich Village also have lived on Brooklyn near Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge.Your place for Italian cheese, cold cuts and fresh mozzarella.”
“My son and I stopped here on a cold, rainy day after just landing at La Guardia. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It is the kind of NY place you'd probably just walk by if you weren't looking for it. It's small and not pretentious at all. You can tell they put their money into food and not trendy decor. We had a wonderful whole fish drenched in sauce as an appetizer, well worth the price. I had a wonderful dish with their fresh made paneer and my son had butter chicken. Best garlic naan I have had too- loads of garlic.Vegetarian options: Paneer is very good.”
“What a great place. I went here spontaneously for my birthday because a friend suggested it. It was totally worth it.We started with the Antipasto plate, then went to the vegan pasta bollente pizza, what I didn't realize at the time came with a pretty spice chilli, and finish with a bread pudding slice. We also had a couple of cocktails, which made the bill a little pricey, but if you didn't have drinks, it would be pretty affordable. The Antipasto plate was a great addition to the meal. The meats were scrumptious and the accoutrements added exactly what you would want for a antipasto plate. $24The Patata bellente was really good but if you don't like spicy food, steer clear of this one. I thought the potatoes would help subside the spice, but it was still very spicy. If you like spice this is the one for you. $18I can't remember what the bread pudding cost or even seeing it on the menu, but it was outstanding!!! Not to sweet, not too bready, it was just a bit of joy with every bite.Id definitely come back, and not just for a special occasion.”
“I came on a Tuesday, and I was amazed at the decoration of the place. Food was very very good. Service was excellent. Amanis was our server and she made sure everything was exceptional. Will be coming back again!”
“Friends got together today and had a very good meal. We all like this kind of buffet barbecue. It tastes good and the waiter has a good attitude. I recommend it.”
“The place is very good, but the food options are very few, the service is good, there is parking available and the service is fast.Parking: There is parking for about 15 cars, it is a good option”
“I just cannot get over how good the katsu is. The chicken katsu curry has to be my favorite in the city by far and has been since they opened. It's hard for me to find time to go here, but it's such a genuinely rewarding meal, and i'm happy to sacrifice the place being open daily for the love and time that seems to go into everything there, from the in-house food to the curation of snacks and drinks. The portion is absolutely enormous, bigger than any ive had anywhere here or abroad, and the quality is astonishing. It's just so good.Cool shirts too :)”
“Lisi , Gresa and Rinori are wonderful they gave us excellent service, wonderful food. The vibe in here is amazing. 10 out of 10 would absolutely come again. We made a trip all the way from Toronto to come try and it was worth the trip!!!”
“Not only one of the greatest breweries for different IPA’s, but the brewery offers a great option for seating, ambiance, and it’s dog-friendly! The neighborhood is unique and artsy. Highly recommended!”
“I grab take out from Bunna a few times a month. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The flavors are incredible. They have a great lunch special as well. Highly recommend checking out Bunna for Ethiopian cuisine in Bushwick!”
“Best seafood restaurant in Queens. Great food and even better service. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The decor was really nice, the vibe of the place was really enjoyable. Make sure to make a reservation before going. The price is on the more expensive side but it’s worth it for the quality of the food and service. They also give you free desert! Highly recommend this for a date night or even just a casual dinner spot. Best Greek Seafood spot without a doubt.”
“Unreal the best owner is a class act and the chef everything I have order is a 10 the clams to die for !!! If u have not gone go u will return many a time!! Even the pizza is unreal!!!”
“I can’t describe how amazing the food and staff were ! The person who I believe was the manager was very attentive and mad us laugh so much. The person who was cooking our meat tonight was also super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends. Thank you so much SSAM TONG !!!!”
“So delicious. Super low key place, no frills. Came on a random Tuesday and while the place was somewhat empty, it was super cozy and inviting. Got the grilled octopus and souvlaki chicken plate with fries and salad. Staff was nice too and at the end of the meal we got a tiny piece of cake dessert that would pair well with coffee. Would definitely come back.”
“My friend and I enjoyed our steak and bœuf bourguignon with ample sauce, and Moussa easily allowed us to change the vegetables on the menu to some others that we preferred. As always, we enjoyed our fabulous French food. C'était un repas magnifique! Karina”
“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. For food we did steak, salmon, lemon potatoes, and calamari, everything was so so good and the portions were big. I will definitely be coming back”
“Great food (tacos and tamales are amazing! So is the Molcajete) friendly and patient staff, and great cause. Will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu.”
“Mussels and fries are the way to go :) The chicken dish looked delicious too but I didn’t try it.Great ambience and service. The passion fruit dessert was tasty + tart.”
“What’s left of Little Italy in the Bronx is alive and well at Gino’s. It’s the best cannoli this side of the Atlantic and the coffee lives up to a similar standard.”
“I stop in once a week for the Curries and Fried rices. Have been coming here for 8+ years everything has remained consistent.Fast service, Beautiful decor, Lunch Specials.”
