Never in my life have I ever not tipped. I always tip at least $20 because I'm in the service industry but someone like that does not deserve it. I've been to numerous restaurants and she was the absolute worst.“
“I ordered the Al pastor Mexico taco trio and a couple of beef tacos tonight 12/02/23. The food was delicious!!! The hot sauces both green and red.... delicious!! I ordered for take out and the order was ready quickly. The business is easily recognized as you drive up and passed. The place is clean and has a few tables for sitting down for a meal if you choose. I will certainly order from them again and I would recommend to anyone to give them a try! Well done ?“

“I walked in the door and there was a guy give samples out of shrimp. It takes guts to give out free samples. I have been a chef and I had a job giving out free sample of Alcohol/booze. I took the free sample it was good. I got 1 shrimp taco it was FrEaKiNg AeWsOmE SaUcE ! This place is making great shrimp ! Thanks Man, I will be back to try everything thing else, very soon.“

“This restaurant is similar to a Chipotle or Moe's, as you come in and order at the counter and walk down the showcase choosing what you'd like. It's separated into two different departments. One is Mexican style options (salads, tacos, fajitas, etc...) and the other is frozen yogurt and traditional salads (Greek, Caesar, etc). The restaurant in itself is spacious and clean! And the staff was so helpful, friendly and patient. Here's what we ordered! A chopped Greek salad, a Vegetarian Iguana salad, a Lost Coast sandwich and a Diet Coke. The Greek salad was very large and filled with all different veggies. The dressing, a little too much, but more is better then skimpy. I'd ask for a little less dressing next time. The Iguana salad was filled, tasty, and hit the spot! Both salads came with tortilla chips which were a perfect complement to the salads. Now, the fish sandwich was fair. The fish was cold, not crispy and underwhelming for sure. But, the coleslaw on top was very good. The sodas are refillable which is a plus. Lastly, the prices were fair and decent. Overall, for a taco/salad joint this place holds the 5 stars well.“
“I drive 15 minutes out of my way in both directions to come here. The restaurant has a simple, but clean and friendly atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and the service is on point.I usually get the west islip lion burrito. Its got everything you wouldn't put in your every day burrito, but it hits the spot every time.I also get the meatless nachos which is loaded with toppings. Its almost impossible to get a nacho chip with nothing on it. Their empanadas are delicious as well.Just after writing this review, I noticed there was bacon in the burrito I ordered. I don't eat pork, so I called the restaurant to ask how to handle it since I don't live close. Not only did they make me a new one, but they drove all the way to my house 15 minutes away just to get my order and gave me a piece of tres leches cake. I've never had tres leches cake I've liked, but this cake is delicious.You guys are awesome. Thank you“

There was one on my right hand side at the stoplight... so convenient hopped right in got my meals left and was home before they were even cold!Vegetarian options: I love their plant based option for protein. “It was my first time at this Chilis! We went around 10 pm (an hour before closing). It was very clean and had a perfect & comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind and the food/drinks were delicious! We were feeling guilty for being there right before closing, but she reassured us and we were not rushed at all… Thank you guys!!!!“
“My girlfriend and I went here on a date night. Food and drinks were delicious. The cookie skillet is in a league of its own, it’s our go-to when we come here. “Obsessed with updating my reviews lately, so here's another one for you. The Local has my heart and it's been a go to place to take friends and family when their in the area and back on LI. As my friend who I lunched with on Saturday said "it has a Queensy vibe" which it totally does, only you will see by the interior decor, it's proud to be on LI and I'm so happy by that. Custom subway signs referring to LI spots is what provides the decor for this place along with chalkboards showcasing the beer list. These days, when I want a beer, I don't look at the list anymore. I tell the staff what I like (usually something on the citrusy side) and I go with it. This is exactly what I did and our server did not steer us wrong. Do I know what beer I had, no...But was she spot on in her recommendation? Yes, she was! Food menu is always changing here, another thing I love, so that Cuban stuffed pretzel was a pleasant surprise when I saw it featured. We jumped at that. As you know I'm a sucker for a special and a French dip was on their special menu. I went for it and never looked back. The meat was so flavorful and the ratio of meat to cheese was perfect. The bread had the right amount of crunch and I hit it with the Old Bay fries and it's the perfect meal. Their sauces are great too, ask for roasted garlic ourthe chipotle aioli on the side. They pair amazing with any of their fries. This place really does get better each time I go. I always opt for a sandwich/burger but I'm sure anything on this menu is dynamite. Brunch is solid too.“
