“If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Easily accessible, located on rt 50 so its on the way any direction you go. From the moment I stepped foot I the door I was greeted like family. The owners came out to greet and welcome me. Wonderul family vibe. The staff gave me suggestions for their most popular dishes and reminded me to get crab ragoons to keep my wife happy. 😋 I ended up ordering fried rice... its amazing 👏 thank you for not over salting it. We also got beef and broccoli and the sauce was AMAZING. Next I tried the chicken lo mein and when I say these noodles were the best- flavorful, crisp veggies, tender noodles, YES. Shout out to the crab ragoons for being hot, crisp and full of the good stuff. We will be back again and again. Oh did I mention it took less than 10 minutes to enter, and walk out with my order!? I spent more time talking to the owners than waiting for food. Extremely pleased with my interaction and food. Do not miss this place!! THANK YOU Mr. Wok! “We did a delivery order through Mealeo and had the worst experience with that service. We placed our order and it was accepted at 8:17pm. We waited for over an hour and saw our delivery time was updated for 9:35-9:45. At 9:34pm we get an email stating that Mealeo cancelled the order, so now we are left with no food and now no option to go anywhere else since everywhere is closed.

Luckily, the owners of Lucky Peking were kind enough to call me and ask if we canceled the order. When I explained that we had not and that Mealeo had. They were also very upset that happened (through no fault of their own) and then offered to deliver it themselves even though at this point they were now closed and had also been waiting around for the Mealeo driver to arrive.

So they took my payment over the phone and the chef drove our order over, across town and after hours. I don’t know how many other restaurants would do that. Thank you very, very much!“

“I went here for the first time today. Small and clean dining area. Not very friendly. I had the crab Rangoons - which were great. Also tried the beef with peppers and onions. The sauce was very bland. It wasn't busy when I was there, a few people coming in and out while I ate. It would have been nice to have a friendly interaction with the staff. I won't go again.“

“They have a great combination plate for lunches for under $10. They have all kinds of stuff on their menu and they give you a nice variety and nice amount of food for the price. They also include either a soda, wonton soup, or egg roll with your lunch included in that price. It's hard to even find a decent meal anywhere for under $10. So I was very pleased and the food was delicious.“

“We just moved to the area and have tried many different Asian cuisines. Tai pan was the best priced and the quality of the sesame chicken outshined all the other restaurants near by. The mei fun was super good too. The crab wontons were super fresh and not heavy in fried wrapper. The balance was perfect. One complaint was not enough white rice but that’s an easy fix for next time and didn’t take away from the experience. My husband got the red curry with no to lite spice and they made it just right. We did take away and plan for this to be our go to spot going forward.

“So full for so little.

Ordered ahead of time, going with the Sesame Chicken combo and Crab Rangoon, being surprised it was only going to be 10 minutes and even more so that the price was just under $22. Judging by how hefty the bag felt, I was very surprised. Quite the deal.

Back home I found everything packed neatly, and looking real good. The rangoon and egg roll were up first, and both were really hitting the spot. Been a while since I've had some basic fried food, and I was quite happy with it all. After those two I moved onto the chicken, which was ALOT. There was so much meat in that box, my goodness. It was savory, it was heavy, and it filled me up.

I didn't actually get around to finishing the rice just because of how full I got off the chicken, but from what I did sample it was cooked right. Had a lot of meat in it as well, and veggies, I did upgrade to the house special rice which I sure added a lot of things.

Overall, a filling meal, a great price, and the staff on site were friendly and cordial.“

“The food is very amazing, portions are large, the price is fair. They have a lot of options and you can choose what you want in your order even if it’s not on display in front of the restaurant. For example you can ask for dumplings, shrimp broccoli, beef broccoli, chicken vegetable, and sweet and sour chicken. Cheese wonton and lots more. Waiting about 8-10 minutes. They make fresh for you. 👍“

I like this area and it is located inside the plaza which is having so many shops like Dollar General and liquor store and so many on you can every time you can come here if you have plenty of parking space really very good, but I will tell the owner to change this lady. “Ignore the one-star reviews. They’re all making up fake problems.
Many complain about rude service. Its not rude, its just not fake-friendly like American service is because the staff are not American. Also, they’re way too busy to stand around asking how your day is. In my last visit, a cook personally came out into the front area to ask if I wanted pork or veg for the free egg roll that came with my order. I appreciated that.
Someone complained that the fryer oil hadn’t been changed in a month. How do you know? They do not have an open kitchen. Did you go in the back and check it yourself?
Someone complained the charge for sauce packets. They in fact have a tray full of different sauces on the counter that anyone can take.

Ignore the bored people who need to make up problems so they have something to complain about. This is the most consistently excellent Chinese takeout in Schenectady and I’ve been a loyal customer for years.“

Parking: There is always parking in this lot as there are other businesses next door that also have spots available. The entire lot is usually only about 30% full.“

“We are regular customers, but tonight's dinner was extra delicious!! We are really impressed with the freshness and had to leave a positive review. We ordered:
-sweet and sour chicken: it was super crispy and a good portion of chicken inside
-garlic chicken: fresh vegetables, all white meat, broccoli cooked perfectly
-house mei fun: packed to the brim and flavorful
-sweet and sour spare ribs: these were restaurant quality!! we got a small order and there were 6 huge ribs inside, fresh and the sauce was incredible
-fried rice: tons of fresh vegetables inside and the rice was cooked perfectly!!
-eggrolls: best egg rolls ive had in a while... they were totally full inside (not just doughy) and crispy on the outside. I could taste the ginger inside too which was delicious.
