“My first time experiencing Thai food and it was excellent. The atmosphere was Home comfortable. The food was beautiful and presentation and delectable. I definitely will go back because I loved it that much and their tea is to die for must have everyone in the restaurant was having this chai tea, it was “
“The Glass Noodles Tofu Soup is one of the best soups we’ve ever hadPanang Curry - big portion and not too spicy with a nice sweetness from the coconut milk. I would literally drink just the curry and be happyWe also tried the Drunken Noodle and Pad See Ew a different time and both were phenomenal. I would go out of my way to get takeout here anytime. Every dish we tried is 10/10“
“A very pleasant experience. A small dine-in Thai restaurant in Nesconset/Smithtown.What makes this place so unique is their attention to “spice level”. We have been ordering take out from here for years, and this was our first time eating there. Enjoying the food straight from the kitchen definitely elevated our favorites! If you enjoy duck, this is a must try! Our second favorite was the fried vegetable dumplings. They were crispy triangles that reminded me of crispy rice! The desserts were a special treat that you can’t get anywhere else.Staff was super helpful and it has a real local vibe. Seems like most there were regulars. Don’t be discouraged by the small dining area. The food is the star and best when fresh!“
“Sawadee is our favorite go to for takeout/delivery! We love their crispy wings and amazing noodles. Their lemongrass pork chops are amazing and flavorful. They are so accommodating when we request bread less wings, even though the breading is insanely good and crispy. Their pad Thai with chicken is juicy and well seasoned and their pad se ew with beef is phenomenal. They are also so sweet and their customer service is fantastic. Cant say enough about Sawadee!“
“My friend was in the mood for an Indian, chicken and rice dish. There's no Indian restaurants near us so I suggested we find a Thai place. We decided on Thai Basil Lindenhurst.Food:We ordered the curry samosas, and vegetables chicken dumplings as an appetizer. The chicken and vegetable dumplings were delicious. The veggies gave them a nice crunch and the chicken was seasoned well. The coating on the samosas was too airy. You could tell they weren't homemade. The filling was lacking potato. The samosas were the only food i wasn't crazy about.I ordered the Garlic Chicken entree. The spice was perfect. Decent amount of chicken. I don't like mushrooms, but whatever they did to cook them dried them out a bit and made them slightly chewy, but in a good way. I enjoyed them. A lot of bamboo shoots. I mixed my rice in and it made it even better.Service:The service was okay. The staff was friendly. Food came out fast and correct, but we had to call someone over for a water refill and for the check. If we didn't we would've been there a while. Otherwise, no issues.Atmosphere:The restaurant was quiet, but kinda boring. There's a lot of space and it looks clean. Its just kinda empty. They could do more to decorate and it would go a long way.Overall, I definitely want to try more dishes and I'm looking forward to coming back“
“I just got through eating the best Szechuan shredded beef I've ever had in my life! The Chef's attention to detail is amazing, I would rate that dish a five as well as the spring rolls...I could tell they were made by the Chef and not bought frozen....I absolutely am a huge fan and know I'll come back for many more meals!!! Thank you amazing Chef!!“
“Food was amazing but the service is definitely lacking. Second time around we didn’t even stay and went somewhere else. Rang the bell 3 times, waited in the hot restaurant for 15 min and didn’t even get to order considering the cook was the only one there and pretty much ignored us. Quit being cheap, hire a driver and keep someone in the front to tend to customers. Just lost an easy 100 bucks, not smart business move.“
“They're so Chinese, you play a guessing game placing the order when they repeat it back to you.... But they never miss a beat! Except fortune cookies, seems every order they haven't been in the bag. The food is delicious, and worth it. Packaging is a step up and makes a world of a difference! Love it love it love it.“
“Very solid local Chinese and Thai takeout option. We ordered a number of plates to share for a work lunch. The chow fun was awesome, all the fried rices were top notch. The pad Thai was the only thing that was ok. Everything else hit the spot for Chinese takeout. I'll be back!“
“I was visiting a family member in Smithtown and we decided to order Chinese food. This was the first time I ordered from King Chef. I ordered steamed vegetables with tofu and brown rice. The food was very fresh and tasted good. They were friendly and their prices are the best in the area. I would highly recommend ordering from here.“
“Loved all the dishes we tried the other night and can't wait to try some more. Everything had such a nice flavor and there was plenty to go around. Can't wait to actually eat at the restaurant but you can't beat their take out. Discovering Thai Green Leaf has been a great way to start 2024!“
“The food is absolutely delicious. Best Thai food I've ever had. The flavors beautifully complimented each dish and everything was cooked to perfection. The Chicken and Beef dishes were incredibly tender and did not have any fat, grizzled or unpleasant textures. The staff is extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Highly recommend and we will be back frequently.“
“Love Thai House…i am hooked on their chicken pad thai and their beef satay. They also make a perfect French martini. Service is always friendly. Prices are very fair. Food is consistently good. They have a great pre-fixed menu…appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for $27.00. I crave their food!“
“We love this place and eat here about every other week. The combination of the food, service and the laid-back atmosphere makes this place a home run. (I've had better Thai food, but not around here!) Their entrees are VERY reasonably priced and the servings are nice portions. My daughter loves the Drunken Noodles and my wife's favorite is the Pad Thai. I prefer the curry's and also love the spicy shrimp with string beans and jasmine rice. The waiter is so nice and attentive. We never feel rushed or ignored. We've had most of the appetizers and really loved the fried calamari with the Thai sauce. The spring rolls are also excellent. The duck pancakes were good as are ALL the dumplings! The chicken satay was dry and I just wasn't a fan of the Indian bread. And don't forget the green tea or one of the special Thai teas to go along with your meals.“
