“I came here about a week ago for the first time with my boyfriend and a few friends just to hang out and catch up. Loved the pool tables and had strong drinks. The bartender, I believe her name was Gianna, was very friendly and provided great service! Overall, it was a great experience and definitely will be coming back. Hope to see her again!“

“We had a dinner party for my husband’s birthday. The service was impeccable. The staff were helpful, polite and genuinely nice to my guests. The Manager, Maria was exceptional. She made sure that we were well taken care of in every way. All our dietary restriction were met. The Owner, Dennis was very nice and accommodating from day one. He made sure we had a great time. Everyone of our guests complimented the food, very well seasoned and flavorful. Great drinks. The venue is beautiful and clean. Great space. I absolutely recommend Laterna for big or small events. “Tavern 157 is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a cozy ambiance that perfectly balanced charm and sophistication.
Every dish was great. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was evident. Pair that with their impressive drink selection--especially their sangria--and you have an evening to remember.
The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations. They made us feel like we were the only table in the house, even though the place was buzzing.
Tavern 157 is the perfect spot for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just indulging in amazing food. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. A true five-star experience!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“Unfortunately I was a little too late to try their food, but one look around the room, it seemed like everyone who had food was enjoying it. I hear the wings are on the spicier side so this is a fair warning. Also, one question on my mind was, ‘do they have natural wine?’ I did find out that they in fact do carry natural wine and it is delicious! Overall happy with my trip to Doublé !“

“I never knew there was such a cool bar on Roosevelt Ave of all places! I live further east of here in Queens so now I do not have to go all the way to Astoria. The owner Lee is super cool and so are the other patrons. I ended up chatting with strangers and we all had a great time“

“I went to Jack Jones with a friend last night. First time there we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend the short rib grilled cheese. Carol was exceptional. In addition to being perfectly professional, she was charming and funny! I look forward to returning soon.“

“This place is so aesthetic and the tea tastes absolutely amazing. Enjoyed this quaint establishment around 11pm. The Zhu Cha was a nice experience but only really worth it for the tea and if you are staying for a long time, which is what it was intended for. The snacks are distinguishable and unfortunately not very suitable for the tea we chose. Not sure it was worth $60+ dollars for tea and $2 snacks.“

“First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

“One of my low key spots. Me and my sister always come here to just relax and have some drinks wings. They have tons of beer in tap I don’t drink beer but I’m always making drinks to order. Wish they did have more cocktails and wine selection for the done beer drinkers but still good. The candied sweet chili wings double cooked with everything bagel fries my go to if not their burgers are pretty good as well. Check them out!“
