“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! “I ordered a specialty cake for my mother and it was FABULOUS! The cake was unique, 2 - tier choc and vanilla with a hazelnut cream filling. It was covered in a lovely lavender frosting with lace flowers and unique lettering. It was fresh and special!“

There is valet parking, which in 10 degree weather is a huge plus.
There was a coat check which is another perk.
Then we were seated in the main dining area in a lovely and comfortable table with a cloth tablecloth and napkins, which is a great commodity nowadays in an era where even upscale restaurants have given into.
The service was phenomenal.
Presented with warm fresh rolls along with the menus. A food menu and a drinks menu.
We dined a three course meal which was outstanding. From the starters to desert everything was cooked perfectly, plated and presented like an upscale restaurant should.
The meal, service and atmosphere was worth the price.

“I have been going here for years how long I used to babysit for Danny and his brother. The food is delicious. The soups are amazing. Chicken cutlets are delicious. I really haven’t had anything here. I didn’t love.

Dietary restrictions: You can ask not to put extra salt in certain things and I find the soup is not salty. They’re pretty accommodating with everyone.“

“Avellion's pizza is delicous. My husband is a pizza snob and we found Avellino's and he has been loving it. We used them for an event and they were able to deliver the pizzas to the Garden City Mini Golf Course and everything was perfect. My parents use to own a shop nearby and it was great, don't let this place fool you, looks like some typical pizza joint - nah, this place has some amazing history and is a bar pie place and has some amazing food. The chicken dishes are amazing, you can get cherry peppers on your bar pie which make it very amazing. Every waiter and waitress here is super nice and kind. They have a jukebox, this place feels like a gangster hangout and it is amazing. Awesome old movie posters on the walls, this place is great! “Tonight went to T-Swirl Japanese Crêpe 81-10 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373, Queens—and man, this spot blew me away. I’m a dessert guy through and through, and these crêpes hit different. First one: sliced strawberries, bananas, custard cream, whipped yogurt, chocolate pearls, and crushed pistachio—pure magic. Then I went for the Strawberry Nutella, and thank god I did. 🍓🔥

Prices might shift a bit from what’s printed, but the cashier was super kind and explained everything clearly (so yeah, ask before you order). Bonus points—they make your crêpe right in front of you like a dessert performance. 🎭
