“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“Healthy, Delicious, and Made with Care- I’ve made the shift from traditional fast food to healthy, relatively fast food — and this place has made that change not only easy, but enjoyable. The salads are always fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Their attention to detail is exceptional.

They take the time to get things right, every time — whether it’s making sure my own salads are chopped just the way I like (finely, but never mushy), or going above and beyond to create a special, unchopped “social” salad for my young grandson, complete with perfectly placed grilled chicken, avocado, and egg on a warm bed of grains.

On top of the great food, the team here is warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Staff members Sim and Swendy consistently show thoughtfulness and care.
And if I’ve forgotten to mention someone by name, please know your kindness and care have not gone unnoticed.

“WOW! This was my first time at Village Greens and it was amazing. I got to meet one of the owners Brian who was very welcoming & gets to know his customers on a first name bases. The food at Village Greens was FRESH. I honestly could taste the freshness of the ingredients. I got the Buffalo cauli-power bowl with mozzarella balls instead of blue cheese. INCREDIBLE. I also got the Mediterranean falafel bowl which was HUGE and so delicious! I love how any bowl can be put into a wrap, I got the cojita corn bowl in a wrap, so creamy and tasty! They also have make your own bowls & super good juices! This is a must try spot! I can’t wait to go back!!“

“First time ever in New York, had a 3 hour layover at Laguardia. Of course I wanted pizza. Lived up to NY's fine reputation of superior pizza. I got the classic, pan and two gigantic garlic rolls. The pizza sauce and dipping sauce for the rolls was some of the best sauce I ever had. Sweet with some twang but not in your face. Thank you for helping with my first NY experience.“

They have good attitude.

“Decided to treat myself to dinner and went to check out this place. Came in during a dinner rush and was seated right away. A nice dark atmosphere. I ordered the NY strip steak and I gotta say it was amazing. Cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth. Cooked like a real steak a perfect medium rare. So good on its own and didn't any sauce but it came with a delicious arbol chilli salsa. Great service with friendly staff. I can't wait to come back and try the lamb tacos amongst other things. “When I arrived at LAX late at night, I was disappointed to find that all the food options were closed. Hungry and unsure of what to get, I stumbled upon a Farmer’s Fridge vending machine and decided to give it a try. I chose the chicken Caesar salad, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and it tasted far better than I anticipated. It was a convenient and satisfying option, and I’d definitely grab one again in a pinch!“

“Went here with my friends. We all enjoyed it. One of my friends mentioned this place being like subways(without Jared) but for pizza because of the options you have. I agree and honestly I can see the appeal. The pizza is definitely isn't the best in Queens but it's pretty decent and its very affordable. My buds shared a whole pie(plus some garlic breadsticks) and we spent around 25 dollars in total. Plus drinks are free if you are a student so that's a plus. If you are walking around the fresh meadows area, I'd give this place a try. Especially if you aren't alone.“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“
