“We grew up in NY. We moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have never found pizza that we could eat here and enjoy. (I've had pizza at Frank Pepe's in CT- I'm spoiled.) We were visiting family in Mount Kisco and stopped in for a pie to take back home with us. Best decision EVER! Wood fired- crunchy crust that held up to our toppings- sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was tangy, good cheese cover, and the crust just snapped when eaten. You made us very happy and we will come back again when we are in the area. “This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

All her cousins, sisters, brother, son, granddaughter and spouses had plenty to say about the food - All pleased. The servers were great. Everyone was so responsive to our needs. I stop for that incredible salad of theirs. There’s nothing like it, covered in feta, Gorgonzola and onions, with that perfect house dressing. It’s simply the best and remains my favorite salad ever!“

Despite their lack of any English besides the essentials, they remember many of their regular customers and their favorite meals. And maybe most important, the food - tasty and affordable. “I ordered Chicken Marsala and the chicken was raw. I did not notice until I'd already eaten a bit. I called the restaurant immediately and the man who answered had a very hard time believing that the chef who's been there for 30 years sent out raw chicken. I sent pictures to him. No reply. I am very sick today. I called the restaurant this morning and explained the situation again to a much nicer man who at least apologized and said he'd have a manager call me shortly when they got in. No manager has called. Nicks Pizza made me sick, refused to believe their chef sent me raw chicken...and I gave them plenty of time to make it right. With their lack of response or even care for this matter, I feel I now am left with no other choice but to post this review of my experience. I've been sick all day and have pictures of the pink/translucent chicken I ate from here to prove it. I am a long time customer however will never be back.“
