“My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good coffee in Nassau county!“

Every time you enter, you're greeted with positivity and I truly appreciate the ability to customize all of the ingredients in your order. It's one of the few places that offers endless customizations so I can actually get vegan food on long Island! They even have soy protein!The staff is astonishingly helpful and kind. The last time I ordered, I switched out for soy protein but forgot to remove the bacon when I ordered from the app. They called me immediately before making my order to make sure I wanted bacon in there. “This was the first time I tried a bowl here. I had the purple one. It was really good! The portions are big and I loved the coconut chips. Everything tasted very fresh/natural. It smelled really good in the store too.The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the granola. It was a little too crunchy and did not have enough variety to it in my opinion. I like when granola has something else mixed into it such as nuts, seeds or dried fruit. All the staff seemed to be enjoying their job and I liked the atmosphere. I also tried a wellness shot for the first time because I’d never had anything like that before. It was interesting! I’ll def be back.“

“Cute little local coffee spot right across from the train station. They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Plenty of parking close by either on the street or in the municipal lots in back of the building.“

“This was my first time, I just so happened to be sitting in my car across the street. I decided to try it. I had tomato bisque and a byo bowl. The soup was the absolute best. I'm serious. I should have bought more. The bowl was so good. I ate every drop of everything. I also got the strawberry basil lemonade. I'd never had this combination before, but it was so good. Not too sweet, not too sour. Just right in the middle. It was refreshing. I will definitely be back again. My bowl had chicken. No fat on the grilled chicken. I hate the fat and gristle. It was perfect. Not dry. And the sauce, it was a perfect addition.“

“Store was pretty clean.Service was pretty good there's a couple young kids in there but they were very respectful and it was helpful with the menu being that I haven't been there before. This location hasn't been open too long it's probably a year and a half that it has been open. I got the mango papaya smoothie that was pretty good. My sister had a strawberry lemon smoothie which was good as well. Prices are fair definitely will be back.“

“The best selection of Italian-style ices. Not your typical supermarket or pizza place Italian ice. High quality product at fairly steep prices. Still, the best place to get ices in the area. There are better places for ices in Queens and Brooklyn, but this is the best place I’ve found on Long Island.“

What was interesting to learn is that none of the smoothies are made with milk, only water and the protein powder!The consistency of the smoothies was perfect: not very thick, not watery. Crystal told us that they are meant to be meal replacements and should therefore keep one full for 2-3 hours. That was definitely the case with me - got our smoothies early afternoon, and I personally did not get my appetite back until dinner time!I enjoyed my smoothie, but I came here with the intention of getting a protein power bowl (had been craving one from the night before).
