“First time trying this place and I can see why it has so many 5* reviews. I got their beef & lamb gyro with a side of pita bread. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I also love the fact that they put fries inside the gyro! Staff was also nice, I will be returning. 5*“
“Went to Blue Waters on a Saturday night. Definitely suggest making a reservation which we had because it is tight but cozy. Food was delicious. We had the Greek salad, branzino and salmon. baklava for dessert. Drinks were yummy too! Only negative was music a little too loud.“
“I ordered food for a party to take out and got excellent advice about amounts. Not too much, but plenty. And it was so good! I ordered lamb gyro, chicken souvlaki, spanakopita, grilled vegetables, falafel, lemon potatoes, and a tray of Greek salad. Everyone was so happy with the food. And the staff are so nice, and go above and beyond. This is my new favorite Greek spot. It should be yours too.Vegetarian options: I think a vegetarian would be happy here.Dietary restrictions: My party had vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, and food allergies. Everything was separated as I asked.Parking: There’s 4-6 spots behind the restaurant and you can also park on the street.“
“We had a college reunion happy hour at Neraki. Alex and his staff were great and the food was delicious. I can't wait to return and bring my family. It's right down the block from my office at Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty -- I can't wait to bring my co-workers and clients. The ambiance is perfect for business or pleasure!Parking: Meters and muni lot.“
“Wow! Best Chicken Caesar wrap I've ever had! Fresh lettuce, seasoned mini croutons, delicious pecorino romana cheese, grilled chicken with pepper and seasonings on a fresh pita! Unreal. Served in 5 minutes and staff was very friendly. Totally reasonable prices - $36 for two people. Highly recommend!!“

Highly recommend.... thanks for making customers feel at home! Especially Edmond.....That's how you know it's family operated ! Your gyro fans Jimmy and Dina, dine in and take out both were great experiencesVegetarian options: They have many rice and veggie platters, pasta, falafals“
“Stumbled upon this place when walking around the village. Was greeted and sat right away. The staff were all so friendly and polite. The food was really good and so was the coffee! We went during lunchtime so it was nice and quiet. They didn't mind at all that we took out time drinking and talking.Overall, it was a great experience. Will be back next time I want Greek food in the area.Parking: Lots and street parking all over.“
“Went here for lunch w friends. The place is small but hopping. Lots of people Picking up. We opted to eat in. Wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made good suggestions. We shared saganiki (a melted cheese and grilled tomato dish) it was warm and flavorful. It had warm feta w tomato on top w melted Greek cheese. Came w pita a good start to share. I had octopus well cooked and lots of flavor it came w onion and green peppers under it. My friends did salads one w gyro meat and they took off what she didn't like and add more of what she liked. My other friend had salad w souvlaki she like the marinade meat but the chunks need to be cut smaller for her. She like the tzatziki sauce. One friend order for her husband to take home and rice pudding. She said he loved his dish and the rice pudding was good tasting. They don't make ice tea but do have refillable soda. So all good. Portion due was enough to take extra home for another day.“
“We heard Tom Schaudel interview with the owner Spiro Dimas. So after taking Mr. Schaudel's advise on some many restaurants. We made our reservation for Plori. We had a very enjoyable meal accompanied with a nice bottle of wine from Greece that M. Dimas recommended. Everything was prepared very well. The staff was very friendly which added to our diner. We will be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.“
“We really enjoyed our time here. I went here on a Friday with a group of friends after am event. Food was delicious and the service very friendly. The wait was long, and the parking kind of sucks, but it's worth it. We liked it enough we came back 4 days later with different group of friends and had a wonderful time. I will definitely be coming back.“
“No nonsense Greek food mostly for takeout although there are a few tables to eat in. The chicken souvlaki is good but the homemade chicken gyro is even better. They don't always have it available though. Reasonably priced and they usually prepare orders quickly. Always a good choice for Greek in Merrick or nearby towns.“
“For me, consistency is a major factor when it comes to choosing where to eat. Gyrolicious is consistently serving up some of the best Greek food I've had outside of Astoria, and the staff is always very welcoming. The portions are very generous, and never lack in flavor. You can tell they really take pride in serving their customers and the quality of the food they put out. Absolutely recommend!“
“Very busy Greek to go in a small strip of stores. Employees are always moving fast behind the counter to keep everything moving. Flavorful gyros and Greek salad. Not on a par with New York Ace in Huntington for messy greasy Greek with over the top salad - Here iata more neat and freshly prepared. My best friend always picks this place and it's closer to his home. Never disappointed. Quick and efficient even on a weekend night.“
“Hard to find good Greek food and this is my go-to place. There's a reason they're busy, probably the most consistent place of it's kind. I've had almost everything on the menu and you can't go wrong. Limited seating and call ahead to order, they are a busy place.“
“The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita. When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full. The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“
“This was my first time at the restaurant with my friend. We were looking for a healthy spot to eat and this hit the mark.I ordered a "build your own bowl" with grilled veggies and lemon potatos as a base. You get to pick two meat options, or an extra amount of one meat. I got chicken souvlaki. I added lettuce, tomato, peppers, kalamata olives, hummus and spicy tzaziki. The veggies were fresh, the potatos were cooked perfectly with delicious lemon flavor, the chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The service was friendly and helpful. They asked how everything was after we ate.The restaurant felt lit up, modern and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to eat there soon.Vegetarian options: You can make a variety of vegetarian salads, bowls and pita dishes with the ingredients available“
“Really good whole, fresh fish!! I always get the whole branzino and it is soo delicious. My husband gets the flounder or lamb shanks and loves both. Just had Red Snapper Santorini and it was great. All meals are served with a family style Greek Salad and Pita Bread.“
“Been going here since I was a little kid as the go to for Greek food. Usually done take out. Well I went in the other night and tried their lamb shank special and decided to write this review. Service and food was absolutely phenomenal. Should've taken a photo, lamb was beyond tender and succulent. 10/10“
“All of their food is delicious. I love their classic Greek gyro. The workers are pleasant and sweet. However I wanted to discuss the fries. Their fries are uniquely delicious and can easily rival the fries from most fast food chains, family and fine dining restaurants. The texture is unique...almost like a tempura fry. I cook and I don't even know how I would replicate it. I wish "Insider Foods" YouTube channel would do a video on these. It is probably the only fries I can buy/eat without adding anything to it...no additional salt or seasonings. I like my fries while I drink a shake, so I usually have a shake with them but they are delicious and the world should know about them and try them and post about it.“
“My husband and I found out about this place through a neighbor. It's located right by the Bethpage LIRR so street parking can be a little tight. If you have a LIRR parking permit or visit after rush hour, then parking shouldn't be an issue. We ordered their Chicken Gyro and Chicken Souvlaki lunch specials. The lunch specials came with a cup of soup and a Greek salad. We are big fans of their tomato orzo soup but they only had lemon chicken soup or mushroom barley soup that day. We tried their lemon chicken soup and thought it was surprisingly good. The lemon flavor was subtle so it wasn't too sour and the soup was served warm. The Greek salad was a decent portion and came with a lot of toppings. My favorite part was the stuffed grape leaf! We decided to order a Combo of Three (garlic dip, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves) as well. We were blown away by the hummus and thought the garlic dip was more like a pureed potato salad. It was good but wasn't great. The Chicken Gyro was good but I felt the Chicken Souvlaki looked tastier. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu as everything was prepared well. It's just a matter of personal preference. P.S. You get free pita bread and tzatziki with your orders!“
