“Menu options are broader than a typical pub style restaurant. Our food was very good.Dietary restrictions: The salads are substantive and provide some good GF options. Would be even better if the menu could identify those that are or can be adapted to be made gluten free. Some servers are more helpful than others in answering these questions“

“We hosted our first meeting of our book club at Carney’s. While I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a quiet place for a conversation (this was my own stupid idea entirely), the servers were super pleasant and patient. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. I’ll go back for a more party-centric night, but don’t try to host your book club here on a weekend night during football playoffs! ?“

“The French onion soup was really delicious and so was my French dip. The fries are crispy and the coleslaw was tasty! We went Sunday after 2:00 and it was pretty full so we had to sit in the upper area where we couldn’t see the Jets/Giants game, but that’s ok.“

“At the last second we booked a party of 16 after our planned party at Bar Louie was cancelled by the restaurant. Bar Louie decided to close up and shut down the business the day of out party, without any notice at all...I quickly called a highly Google rated restaurant and wound up here... Everything went smoothly, food was great, drinks were cold and everything worked out perfectly, while having no time to prepare when our first choice bailed on us... But this restaurant really was good and everyone liked their meal. I think everyone involved wouldn't hesitate to return, especially after they accommodated us with no time to spare.“

“Belfast Gastropub, Lindenhurst02/24/2024I arrived a bit early in Lindenhurst, to meet a group of people for drinks at Belfast Gastropub, so I ordered, no surprise, a hamburger before they arrived...?The Hamburger menu was tight, as there were limited choices, but a bit daunting, in that there was no, " just plain hamburger" on the menu, but burgers with numerous "add ons" to them. I did not ask for a plain burger, for a couple of reasons, so I'm not allowed to complain about "no plain burger" on the menu?I ordered the " Almighy Belfast", with the spicy Cole slaw, and Corned beef on the side..More on that later. As usual, I ordered the burger medium rare, toasted bun, I forgot to tell them no rabbit food. ?‍♂️ Well done Fries, of courseThe burger came to me a near perfect medium rare. The toasted bun was complimentary to the burger, as it's buttery taste worked well with the meat blend, and the add ons, that came with the Belfast Burger. The bun to meat ratio was proportionate, as one, did not overwhelm the other..The lettuce and tomato that came on the side, not on the burger, was small in the amount that was on the plate. The meat.. It was good .But, the meat blend was not my favorite. It was just too mild for my preferred taste. That is not a slam on the burger, as people around me, at the bar, who ordered it, or other burgers on the menu, were pleased with it.Also, again, this is not a slam on the restaurant. As well, I'm not big on a burger that is in the realm of the "Man vs Food" universe.I could not envision getting ones jaws around the burger, with ALL the fixings on the Almighty Belfast burger....Even without the Corned beef, and the Spicy Cole slaw on the bun, it was not easy to bite down on it. Some people enjoy it, I dontAlso. A bit steep in price, but with all the "add ons", it easy to see how the price gets bumped up to the nearly $24 price tag..The Old Fashioned was a Top Tier drink...One of the better ones in the area.. And a very reasonable price. It was good enough to make my list of places, to go have a drink at?This place is very, very busy, seems to be a successful restaurant, from what I know, have many, many, returning customers, and is a popular meeting place in the Village, so they must be doing something right ?‍♂️The French Fries were very good, They came out crispy, as ordered, and there were certainly enough of them. The Corned Beef was good, but cut a bit too thin, and dried out after a few minutes, on the side plateThe spicey cole slaw, I understand why they put it in the ingredients list, but I could have settled for plain cole slaw, but that just a personal taste. The service could not have been better. The busy bartender was attentive, prompt, and professional, despite, a very busy bar crowd.Even the waitress, at our table, was fast, courteous, and a charm to deal with, even with 6 different checks?I would not hesitate to recommend the Burgers, or the restaurantThe parking is not the worst. I was lucky, and the 8 people I met for drinks, all got decent, close, parking, at around 5 pm, on a Saturday evening. The parking situation in Lindenhurst is far better than in Babylon, and Patchogue, which can make you wonder why you agreed to meet people, in those towns, on a Friday, or Saturday night?Belfast Gastropub, Lindenhurst02/24/2024“

“I was there on Sunday night at 6pm for a quick drink (I don't drink but am always a designated driver to my sister and brother) on a Sunday afternoon/early evening and that's really all it's good for at that hour a quick drink. Well actually I lied, that and the bartender Rebecca. She's a cute shorter petite cute girl with some nice tats and cool to talk to and she's real cute. She also gives great advice to people that ask, especially in the love department since she's a girl. She was able to help give me some insight as to how I can try and get a girl because I'm a little shy and have some personal issues like everyone that make me lack confidence. She was even a great therapist dealing with the local drunks that were there feeling sorry for themselves. She knew how to handle people no matter what type of person they were. So as you can tell the best thing about this place at this hour up until about 645-7pm is her on Sunday lol. She knows how to mix a drink also which is obviously nice for a bartender lol. Anyway it's a good place to go to for a quick Sunday drink and on the Friday and Saturday of the weekend it's always a good time with with lots of people and it's a lot of fun.Parking: There is a big parking lot behind the bar where it shares parking with a ton of stores. At best guess there are probably about 60-80 parking spots there.“
