“BEST FOOD IN THE AREA!!!“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“Moved to Bethpage recently went to Ciminellis after recovering from Covid for the first time. I stopped in to buy some fried dough (excuse me cuz I don’t remember the name of what you guys here in LI call it, but so delish!) for myself and neighbor.
The owner was there and I asked if he was able to make me a specific role w garlic, ALOT of garlic because I’ve heard the allicin in garlic has anti-oxidant properties, that would help with the cough that remained from Covid.

He was so kind - he made me this special order with such care and loaded it up with garlic! It was wonderful!! All the employees were so kind and friendly.

From the street front you would think it’s much smaller of a place than it is! It is deceiving because when you walk in, there is a dining area, but they also have a nice brand new dining room in the back as well as outside dining in a cute little garden area.

I learned that they have entertainment as well on Fridays!

Definitely going to have to check it out and will definitely be back for their food. It was beyond amazing.!!!!

“My wife and I are pizza fanatics specifically Neapolitan style. A hybrid gas, wood fire grill that makes a near perfect pie. We split a Margherita and Mushroom pie.

The Cesar salad was great, a touch of lemon zest and crispy lettuce.

The meatballs were high quality and this is coming from a self proclaimed meatball master.

“We picked Rialto to try for a last minute dinner and had a great experience. A friendly and professional server brought our drinks quickly and made a great wine recommendation. We split the stuffed artichoke which was tasty and a perfect size so we were still able to enjoy our entrees. Husband got Osso Bucco over saffron risotto and I got shrimp and spinach rigatoni in a light tomato sauce. Both were delicious and I was surprised how many shrimp were included. I couldn't even finish them. Overall, we had a great night and look forward to a return visit.“

“Celebrated my husband's birthday at George White Restaurant on a Sunday evening. Great menu with lots of choices for every taste. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“

My daughter Victoria and I stopped by this Olive Garden at 1246 Old Country Road, and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Ariana, was excellent—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The manager, Margarita, was also amazing and made sure everything was perfect.
The food was delicious and came out very fast, which we truly appreciated. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the outstanding attention we received throughout our visit.

The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“Went in with a party of 10. 4 of us eat gluten free. The owner came over and explained everything we could have, which was a lot. They have gf pasta. And said that if we call ahead they will make custom meals like gluten free chicken parmigiana. Joe took our order and remembered everything perfectly. We will definitely be back!“

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Zona last night. I was originally booked to have the party on Saturday, but the bride came down with the flu. Gianna was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to change the date for me without hesitation. The day of the affair, the staff was so helpful in getting the room set up for us. Our waitress, Jodi, was absolutely incredible. She made sure that our guests had a fresh drink before they even realized their drink was empty. The food was delicious and plentiful. But most of all, the service that Jodi provided to us was outstanding. I would book another event at Zona without hesitation.“

Sadly this restaurant is not the same anymore. The bread wasn’t fresh, was too thin and crunchy whereas it used to be soft and fluffy. The pappardelle bolognese is nowhere near what it used to be. The paninis aren’t pressed enough and have lost their delicious taste. The chicken francese was very salty. The dining experience is not cozy anymore, it’s awfully loud to the point you cannot have a conversation. I write this review in good faith in hopes it can be restored to its previous glory. Sadly I will not be coming back.
