“My family and I had an excellent experience at Theo Thai. After finding the restaurant on Muslim Foodies, we came same-day in the late afternoon.I myself ordered a steak with drunken udon doodles. All the noodle dishes tasted exceptional. However, the steak was bland in comparison. Moreover, the service here was 100% perfect. Two servers, a man and a woman, were extremely friendly. They entertained us with good conversation, which maintained the great atmosphere. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful as well.I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try tasty halal Thai cuisine.Dietary restrictions: 100% halal“
“I've been going here for years, and I must say it's one of the best in the area. The service is quick and great. I do recommend it for anyone who wants to grab a bite to eat. I recommend the fried dumplings, chicken and broccoli and general tso chicken.“
“This was our first time here and definitely not our last!! This place was amazing!! Joy was serving my husband and I. She is so attentive and so friendly. We had the vegetable spring rolls to start then which were great then my husband ordered the Masaman Curry and he loved it. I had the Amazing Rama with no tofu and was so pleased with this dish. We both had the coconut juice which was so deliciuos!! Everything is fresh made. We will definitely be coming back.. Thank you for such a great experience:)“
“My go to take out and Thai food place close to home.Reasonably priced but still consistently fresh. The Curry dishes and Tom Kah and Tom Yam soups are our favorites. There are other Thai places in the area but either overly expensive for not much better or inexpensive not constant or fresh.Green Thai is one of our favorites. The employees are very attentive and pleasant. They are celebrating their 14 year anniversary and have 10% off the entire check for the rest of 2023.Can’t wait to dine here again soon.“
“This place was very cute. Food was delicious . The only down side is that it was very tiny and it was cold outside when we went so every time the door opened we felt the cold air which kind of ruined the atmosphere. Aside from that service was good and food was good. Definitely a place to take cute pictures.“
“I was recommended this place for my first time trying Thai food. I had the Vegetable Pad Thai, and it was amazing, truly expanded my taste palette and really set the bar for me. I tried a different Thai spot not long after (out of state lol) and it was not as good as this one. Thankful to my friend in GC for the recommendation!“
“My friend was in the mood for an Indian, chicken and rice dish. There's no Indian restaurants near us so I suggested we find a Thai place. We decided on Thai Basil Lindenhurst.Food:We ordered the curry samosas, and vegetables chicken dumplings as an appetizer. The chicken and vegetable dumplings were delicious. The veggies gave them a nice crunch and the chicken was seasoned well. The coating on the samosas was too airy. You could tell they weren't homemade. The filling was lacking potato. The samosas were the only food i wasn't crazy about.I ordered the Garlic Chicken entree. The spice was perfect. Decent amount of chicken. I don't like mushrooms, but whatever they did to cook them dried them out a bit and made them slightly chewy, but in a good way. I enjoyed them. A lot of bamboo shoots. I mixed my rice in and it made it even better.Service:The service was okay. The staff was friendly. Food came out fast and correct, but we had to call someone over for a water refill and for the check. If we didn't we would've been there a while. Otherwise, no issues.Atmosphere:The restaurant was quiet, but kinda boring. There's a lot of space and it looks clean. Its just kinda empty. They could do more to decorate and it would go a long way.Overall, I definitely want to try more dishes and I'm looking forward to coming back“
“Their Thai tea was so refreshing and tasty, I think im addicted. I really enjoyed their vegetable soup, so hearty and tasty. And I really enjoyed their Pad Thai, it was sweeter than other Thai spots I’ve tried & I love the portion of noodles they give (I’m a noodle lover).Follow my food instagram page: @tsunami.eatsFollow my personal: @tsunamievOverall: I’d return for their pad Thai and their Thai iced tea. ⭐️ (they should hire an extra staff member, one individual employee doing all the serving, making drinks, & cashier so service was slower which wasn’t employee’s fault)“
“5 stars all across the board! All I have to say is, WOW! Love the energy and atmosphere! Family owned business and you can tell they take pride in their work! The food is always so fresh and tasty! The quantities are always perfect and the taste is always on point! Seating area is small, but usually clears out fairly quick! Wish we had more establishments like this one here! My favorite is the Hakka chicken with brown rice!!“
“A metric that I use to determine how good a restaurant is, is how good is each dish on the menu. Some restaurants are known for certain dishes while everything else is ok. This is not the case with Basil Leaf Grill. Everything that I have tried is a home run. The service is swift and accommodating when you dine in as well as the pickup service. If you order for pick up, the order will be ready in about 10 minutes. The restaurant is comfortable with mainly high partitioned booths. Lastly, the drunken noodles with beef is the best.“
“Cotillion has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Long Island for years, offering an unmatched dining experience every time. Their classics like Chicken Tikka, Cotillion Special Biryani, and the Malai Kabab never disappoint, but it's the Chilli Fried Lamb that truly steals the show. The fusion of traditional and innovative, especially with dishes like Hakka Noodles Chilli Paneer, sets Cotillion apart. Whether dining in or opting for their excellent catering service, Cotillion is a culinary jewel worth experiencing.“
“It was a really nice experience. The staff was amazing and polite.May be they were short-handed on staff. The food was good.especially Drunken noodles, vegetarian dumplings with chives.Food is good with quality.Price is also on average side.Overall, we enjoyed the food..Vegetarian options: Also, you have to talk to the server for the vegetarian options as well as special requests to avoid fish, oyster sauces and eggs, etc.“
“Since the new management has taken over, I've been impressed with their execution of the menu. We really loved the food from the previous team and this new team has not disappointed while adding new favorites. Their Massaman and red curry is delactable for instance. Very authentic (as far as I know for not being Thai, lol). We do take out 99% of the time.“
“Excellent, city quality thai food. The best in the huntington area. My wife and I loved it.Service was also so nice and the owner came to our table, ps if you like spicy ask for the little chili tray! Also pleasantly surprised that they are very gluten free friendly. Will definitely be back“
“Went for a birthday celebration. The food was tasty and not overly priced. Our server was also the owner and the chef's husband. He is definitely the conversational type when he has down-time which we liked. My mom doesn't eat meat and went with the mock-duck, which she enjoyed.I ate the drunken noodle [actual] duck dish which was delicious. Spiciness made to request.I recommend parking in the rear, not on the street out front.Vegetarian options: Meatless dishes available, "mock" items also available.Wheelchair accessibility: One in our party uses a wide wheelchair. He had to get up for us to get it through the door, but it seemed like a regular sized one would have no problem. Bathroom is also on the same level, and sizable if I remember correctly.“
“Unbelievable Thai food. My favorite Thai food on Long Island. Have been coming here for over 20 years. It's disappointing that it is more take out than restaurant, but the food is incredible. Very reasonable prices. I recommend Bag of Gold and Curry Puffs for appetizers. Basil chicken or any curry.“
“Smallish storefront w/ seating for 16. Good lunch specials Tue - Fri bet. noon - 3:00pm. Closed Sun. & Mon. They will adjust spicing levels at customer's request. Recommended: Drunken Noodles; Pad Thai; Thai Fried Spring or Shrimp Rolls; Chicken Sate and Roti w/Thai Style peanut dressing to dip. Up to ten protein choices on many dishes; prices vary somewhat dependent upon choice. Also, Thai Green Salad w/ peanut dressing & Thai cold beef salad w/ tangy, spicy sauce. Massaman Curry was my favorite of five types offered... Have either eaten there or purchased to go. Delivery available thru outside svces.“
“Drunken noodle w chicken is always my go to order, can't beat this authentic thai restaurant. Flavor town. We also love the garlic edamame. My husband really enjoys the coconut mango sticky rice. Although the mango is seasonal, the coconut sticky rice alone is also delicious. Best Thai food on Long Island!!“
“The weather was just Peeerrrrfect to enjoy delicious Thai food!!Went to Lemon Leaf in Hicksville with family - it is one of our favorite joints - the food is tasty, service is quick and the ambiance is very homely. We like to start of with the Tom Yum soup & chicken satay, but this time we also ordered Thai fried shrimp with walnut - they had some sort of sweet sauce on top - it tasted different, but in a good way!!Main course usually is Panag Curry ( so tasty, so so tasty...) Basil Chicken, String Beans with shrimp, Chicken fried rice, Pad Thai... every dish was made to perfection!Thank you Lord!!“
“I was meeting an old friend for lunch and we settled on another place in Massapequa. Fortunately, that other place wasn't open for lunch so we tried this establishment. This was probably the best drunken noodle dish I've ever had. I had it with fried tofu, and although i would've enjoyed it a bit spicier I absolutely loved it. My friend was thrilled with her meal too. The woman working was very pleasant and accommodating with our orders. I don't live nearby, but I will be ordering take out from here in the near future.“
“Food was great. I ordered ahead and dined in during lunch. The price for the amount of food is amazing given the rising costs with everything. I had a General Tso chicken with brown rice and a side of hot & sour soup. It warmed me right up and I was on my way. The food was fresh and hot! I will return soon for the Thai menu items! :“
“Lived in the area and passed by on many occasions seemed like a random mixed cuisine place that couldn't figure out that it wanted to be. Wanted ramen and Thai food and not happy with takeout in merrick/ east meadow / bellmore area so dropped in. What a pleasant surprise. Ramen was on point tasty and well prepared. Drunken noodles delicious and flavorful. Stand out was pineapple fried rice. Yum yum yum. All around a good addition to rotation“
“I know I’m going to regret this. Nothing good comes from giving a restaurant a rave review, and, of course, the next time I order, I will be told that I have hours to wait to get my order because they’re too busy, but…I just can’t help it.It’s that phenomenal.I had almost given up ever having the kind of amazing Chinese food I had when I was a kid.You all know. Sunday night with the parents. You meet your aunts, uncles and cousins at the local chop suey place, and everything was so good, you’re licking your fingers in the car the whole way back to Canarsie. After jumping from one bland tasteless Chinese take-out to another, all the same dull, half burned spare ribs, soggy eggroll filled with cabbage, over salted wonton soup where you need a miners pick to find the meat in the dumpling, it happened. Now, I need to preface this review with the fact that we’ve only had delivery, never eaten in, but what we’ve had…omg! The Mmm factor is so high, that we actually moan and groan as we eat.I mean, we sat down, turned on Jeopardy, and were ready for a boring meal from just another dive, when it happened!!“Paul? Did you taste the spare rib? Paul!!”“Shush…I think I died and went to heaven!”“How’s the soup?”“I think they made a mistake. This wonton is full of meat!”“You won’t believe this!! The eggroll crunches…it crunches! There’s no grease dripping out of it…there’s meat in it!!“Gimme that! You’re lyin….OMG!”Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!!Everything was fresh, delicious and came…get this…sit down…ready?…came hot!!The place is on Hicksville road…we’re a good 15 minutes at least, away…and it was hot!We dove through our order!! C’mon!! Isn’t anything going to be bland?? Greasy? Tasteless? Again! OMG!Well, after you’ve read through my raving, I guess I have to tell you the name of this Utopia…you’ve been patient, deserving…but if I have to wait hours for my next order…the onus will be on you!!The food is beyond delicious! Everything from even the old standard, chicken chow mein, to new stuff, such as eggplant in garlic sauce, is outstanding…yes, I know, the name…New King Dragon…on Hicksville Road in Massapequa…and as Ray Malland said in the Lost Weekend…I know I’m going to hate myself in the morning.Enjoy!! I know you will.Vegetarian options: Vegetables are crisp, fresh and delicious.“
“They're so Chinese, you play a guessing game placing the order when they repeat it back to you.... But they never miss a beat! Except fortune cookies, seems every order they haven't been in the bag. The food is delicious, and worth it. Packaging is a step up and makes a world of a difference! Love it love it love it.“
“They have so many options, but I have consistently had the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. It has consistently been delicious. I have only done take out, so I could not speak for service or ambiance in the restaurant. If you like thai food, definitely the place to go.“
“I took my friend who’s been to Thailand before here, and he said that it was some of the most authentic Thai food he’s had outside woodside-elmhurst. I recommend the spring rolls, fried snapper with basil sauce, drunken noodles, crispy basil pork belly, palm juice, pumpkin custard, Tom yum, massaman curry, and fried banana. The people are very friendly too, and take the time to help newcomers get acquainted with Thai cuisine.“
