“Staff, Service and Ambiance are top of the line! We had a retirement dinner in the private room. Samantha was on it and we didn’t want for a thing. The staff’s team approach is amazing here. Food is incredible in taste and presentation! A class operation across the board! 🤗👏🎉”

“Last night was my second time dining at Remlik’s and I was just as impressed this time as the first time. My meal- I started with French onion soup, which was top 3 I’ve ever had. Served nice and hot, with a great balance of onion and bread. The broth was just right in flavor- rich without being salty. The filet, mashed potatoes and asparagus were presented next. The asparagus was cooked nicely- hot and cooked while still a bit crisp. The potatoes were hot and creamy, buttery and smooth. The filet and mushrooms had great flavor and were cooked exactly as I hoped. I ordered it medium, and it was perfect in appearance and was warm/hot inside. Dessert was the vanilla crème brûlée which was very good as well.

The greeter was pleasant and sat us within 5 minutes of our reservation. Our server was polite, helpful, attentive, and made the experience wonderful. All the waitstaff were polite and attentive.

I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Binghamton.”

I’ve had the crab cakes, French onion soup, mozzarella sticks, fettuccine alfredo, and the rigatoni bolognese, and everything has been excellent. Killer steaks too! The portion sizes are enormous and even the house salad is delicious.

One thing I really appreciate is the pacing. The timing between the appetizer, salad, and entrée is impeccable, so you can actually relax and enjoy the meal instead of feeling rushed.

The staff at the front door are always cheerful and welcoming, and the service has been fantastic every time.

I recently brought my mom, who is an absolute doll, when she came down from north of Albany and she raved about it. After that drive she needed something delicious, and Cortese delivered.

Also, shout out to the overflow parking because that makes busy times much easier.

Honestly, just come hungry.

Relaxed place to stop in and grab food for the whole week. Throw them in the freezer and you have your food backups. I bring them to work and just microwave a meal for lunch. All contained and ready to go. Weight loss, athletes, older folks that want a complete meal for less $. Snacks too, they also do shakes to order. it's not a weight loss place though and not for muscle heads, it's clearly for everyone and is very inviting, no pressure. You can just stop in and buy stuff, there's no obligation for a plan, it's awesome. It's right in the old Number 5 building. Wow Love it! 🙂

“We celebrated my mom’s 85th birthday and my dad’s 88th birthday at McGirks last night with a group of 12, and despite how busy the restaurant was, everything was absolutely wonderful. Hunter was our server and she was excellent—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Kellyn, the bartender, was super fast, Emily is awesome as usual, and Noelle came over to personally wish my parents a happy birthday, which meant a lot to us. The chef did an amazing job—every dish was warm, delicious, and exactly as ordered. We had no complaints at all. Megan is a fantastic owner, and it truly shows in the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. “It can be hard to find places open on Mondays but this coffee place is. I was able to bring both my girls with me to check this place out. It had been on my to do list for awhile. Had I known how great it was I would have gotten here faster. It has such a cozy feel. Plenty of room for people to dine in and a few outdoor seating options. The drinks were delicious and the baked goods were excellent too. Often I expect the coffee to be just to my liking and usually new places don’t measure up but this coffee place nailed it! The staff was great and made us feel welcome. They have a selection of merchandise for sale that are great prices. We especially liked the connect four/ring toss game outside which entertained my little one while I waited for the locksmith to come unlock my car for me. I love the artwork on the windows and the water dish outside for dogs is great!”

I was called by Management that they were unfortunately out of what I had ordered, and it would be a few hours before they would have it freshly made because they were in process of making a large portion.. Management then decided because I wanted it so bad they would make a separate portion just for me so it would be done in time so I would have it. This restaurant went above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciate them for that. The spinach pie was absolutely amazing And highly recommended.”

“My wife and I wanted a small evening out to get wings and fries. We went to a couple of local places for wings and they were either closed or so busy there was standing room only. So, in our travels to go back home and just make dinner ourselves we drove by this place and figured what the heck let's give it a try!
We were AMAZED at the service and attention from the bartender/ waiter and the cook was AWESOME too. We got 2 orders of half dozen wing so we could get different flavors and share, an order of bacon cheese fries and a chef salad. Honestly, it was a great salad, the bacon and cheese fries were a home run, and we ordered our wings (crispy) garlic and parmesan and sweet chili, they too were a home run.... The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the bartender/ waiter was GREAT and FRIENDLY and service was quick! The cook was HAPPY, and she did GREAT preparing our food. I heard other patrons saying that thier pizzas are outta this world. I guess we'll be trying pizza next time!

Maybe a tiny bit of extra mushrooms on the mushroom Swiss burger would be cool though. The only complaint I really have is slight inconsistency in receiving what’s ordered. Overall correct each time just small little things that are wrong. Last time one of my side sauces was missing. Not really a big deal. This time I was supposed to get truffle parm fries but recieved regular fries. Also not really a big deal. In house it wouldn’t be a problem to fix, quick and easy but on delivery not so much. I’ll definitely continue to order and I’d definitely recommend this place to other people but maybe try to work on making sure they’re 100% right, especially if it’s takeout/delivery. Overall 4.75 stars, if you could do portions of stars lol.”

“We went to The Grove about a week ago, as we pass by this place often and wanted to try it out. We were greeted at the door, and our waiter was friendly. Unfortunately, when my burger came out, it was so rare that it was inedible. However, I did get a replacement, which was tasty.

Another disappointment was that in the men’s bathroom, there was no door to the toilet stall, and it was oddly like a sauna inside.

Other than that, though, it was an okay experience.”

As a avid consumer, these flavors have yet to grow boring and always refreshes my mood after a long day of class. With a strong foundation in genuine, non-artificial flavoring, I can safely recommend anything on their menu. Did you also know that their milk teas (except Thai) is all lactose free too? The staff is also really friendly and calm despite all the customers coming in daily. For a place that started from one man with a dream, I can tell that he’s definitely going places. Try his bubble tea while Tapioca is still in stock! 😭”

No peppers or onions and I was expecting that side of the pizza to have a white base rather than red sauce. It's too snowy and cold out to bring it back to get a replacement. Let me tell you what makes Sarah and her team so INCREDIBLE!From the moment we booked, Sarah was committed to making our vision come to life. We had numerous meetings with Sarah-- first she showed us some past weddings and everything she had available to us. Then I shared my inspiration/photos and we got to work collaborating. Sarah will help you make your ideas real. She even gave me access to her storage room, and gave me free access to all sorts of decorations (table toppers, baskets, signage), which saved me money and time.The biggest thing Sarah did for me is give me peace of mind. Being a bride is SO stressful. Every time I met with Sarah, I walked away feeling assured, supported and inspired. She was so accommodating, answering questions for months in advance leading up to the day, and setting up occasional meetings to look at the venue and plan decorations.Décor: Fast forward to the day before the wedding. I had family and friends helping to get all the table décor together. All we had to do was bring all of our supplies to the View, and show Sarah an example of what we wanted. When we got to the Venue on the big day, magic! She sets everything up for you. And they took care of tear down too so we could enjoy our party, all night long. Everything looked even better than I imagined.Their whole selling point is that they will make your day as stress free as possible. And let me tell you. THEY ARE NOT LYING! We didn't have to worry about a thing.Food: Ok and the food??? SLAMMIN. My one regret on my wedding day is that I only ate 1 bag of clams, lol. All our guests were so happy.Drinks: If you have a special beer/wine you want, Sarah and Patrick will do their best to find it for you, how cool is that? The buffet and bar line moved fast and no one complained about there not being any liquor (something I was worried about).The Bridal Barn: What a special touch! Me and my bridal party shared special private moments together as our guests arrived. Its air conditioned ;). Girls, Sarah makes you feel like a princess. At the conclusion of our ceremony, Sarah had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the Barn. I'll never forget all of us in the wedding party piling into the barn and drinking out of the bottle.The Ceremony: Our ceremony felt so personal and true to us. Per Sarah's suggestion, we hired Barb from House of Treasures to decorate the pergola (sooooo glad we did!!!) Sarah makes sure that guests have access to everything they may need for an outdoor ceremony (sunscreen, bug spray, water bottles).The Venue: GORGEOUS!!! We were blessed with fabulous weather. But even if it rained I was confident Sarah had our backs. Guests took photos along the railing with the sun setting in the valley. Well deserving of the name "The View."Reception: We went with Ryan DeLap, one of the DJs on the Sarah's list. Amazing. We danced alllllll night long!!! We had so many people come up to us and say it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding.I could go on and on and on. Long story short: Book your wedding here. The facilities are beautiful. Sarah is an angel. Wedding venue prices can be heinous. The price we paid for the experience we had... we were just floored. Just beautiful quality from beginning to end. “Family's Diner on Main St. on Binghamton NYs Westside, is a pleasant old style-counter, booth, and table diner. One of the few remaining of it's kind, from an era, three-quarter of a century old.

The diner is run by a group of folks who are both local and from NYC, Jamaica, Bronx, Brooklyn,all areas with the finest cooking you might find.

I usually go when Sha is cooking and serving. She's a super-friendly who would give you the shirt off her back. Sha's smile can soothe a sad heart any day, and her skilled big city chef-experienced cooking, combined with top-notch 5-star quality service, food, and presentation, you can't go wrong.

I haven't yet. To the fine lady who served me on Monday afternoon, thank you for your stories, the courage in your voice, and the warmth of your good soul.

All it takes is a conversation and a meal, with some water or coffee to boot.

Kid-friendliness: The staff are very nice and will certainly treat your kids well, and with respect.

“When I went, the toaster was broken, and they were out of bread except Artisan Italian and Italian Herbs & Cheese.
Besides that, it was a great subway! Super clean, nice bathrooms, and the staff were really nice. Immediately when I entered, the staff told us that the toaster was broken and offered to use the microwave instead (it didn’t fit a footlong sub, but still). Quickly refilled two trays when they were mostly empty and I asked for it.
I didn’t see the owner, and they probably weren’t there. Some other reviews mentioned that the owner wasn’t a great manager.

Parking: It’s in a plaza with many shops lined up on a street, and there is enough parking. The lot at subway was half full when I entered and left, for a relatively busy time (Thursday 6:15).”
