She was a woman who loved a fantastic filet and perfect scallops, so we went for the scallops that day. Needless to say even now, long after her passing, Remlik's is still one of my favourite places to go not only for the treasured memories, the beautiful building, but also the fantastic quality of food these many years! Another fantastic recommendation is their Oysters Rockefeller- a classic you don't see on many menus these days! A true treat!!”

“It can be hard to find places open on Mondays but this coffee place is. I was able to bring both my girls with me to check this place out. It had been on my to do list for awhile. Had I known how great it was I would have gotten here faster. It has such a cozy feel. Plenty of room for people to dine in and a few outdoor seating options. The drinks were delicious and the baked goods were excellent too. Often I expect the coffee to be just to my liking and usually new places don’t measure up but this coffee place nailed it! The staff was great and made us feel welcome. They have a selection of merchandise for sale that are great prices. We especially liked the connect four/ring toss game outside which entertained my little one while I waited for the locksmith to come unlock my car for me. I love the artwork on the windows and the water dish outside for dogs is great!”

“We will 100% be back the next time we're in town! We were in Binghamton for a dance event and decided to stop into the Courtside Bar and grill, the food was AMAZING!

We tried sweet and sour cauliflower bites. I could have eaten just these and been extremely happy. We also decided to try the beer cheese speidie and pb&j burger. The speidie had the most tender and flavorful chicken I've ever had on a sandwich!! The PB&J smash burger was also delicious and full of so much flavor.
On top of all this our server and the manager (i think that's who he was) were extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Binghamton!!”

Hunter was our server and she was excellent—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Kellyn, the bartender, was super fast, Emily is awesome as usual, and Noelle came over to personally wish my parents a happy birthday, which meant a lot to us. The chef did an amazing job—every dish was warm, delicious, and exactly as ordered. We had no complaints at all. Megan is a fantastic owner, and it truly shows in the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. Thank you to the entire team for helping make such a special milestone celebration memorable.”

Let me tell you I got the scorcher panini it was hands down the best panini I ever had in my life the chicken was absolutely delicious with fresh cut jalapeños and the sauce was perfect A+++++++ highly recommend this place i promise you won’t be disappointed it’s definitely my new favorite lunch spot!!”

“Drove from Greene just to try this gorgeously gooey cheese encrusted delight today, and I was not disappointed. Real Detroit style pizza! Soooo goooood. Trust me when I tell you, it's filling, and worth every penny! The guys that make this are super nice, too. Real family. It's not on the main drag, but located in a nice neighborhood near Rec Park. Worth looking for, and worth a try for sure! I swear this pizza could easily feed 3 people. It's hefty, delicious, and not doughy or soggy at all. Nice and chewy, and fluffy! The sauce isn't over-seasoned. Just lovely and tomato-y. The cheese on the pizza is stretchy, which is an absolute joy. And that crispy, baked cheese edge...oh lawd!!! Please support this local business. They deserve your patronage, and you deserve this pizza. Do yourself a favor and try the Sprecker Root Beer with it!”

“Highly Recommended – Great Mother's Day Dinner! We ordered takeout from Park Diner & Restaurant for Mother's Day — one Turkey Dinner for my mom and one Meatloaf Dinner for me. Both meals were excellent and really hit the spot! My mom loved her Turkey dinner. The portions were generous, everything was hot and fresh, and it tasted like a real homemade holiday meal. I went with the Meatloaf dinner and was very happy with it too. The meatloaf was flavorful and comforting, and the sides were perfectly cooked. What really stood out was the service and attention to detail. I asked for extra gravy for my potatoes, and they hooked me up with plenty — just the way I like it! The gravy tasted rich and homemade, exactly what you hope for in a classic diner meal. It made the whole plate even better. This was such a nice upgrade from the disappointing Cracker Barrel meal we had previously. The food at Park Diner felt authentic, satisfying, and well worth the price we paid. Friendly service, solid portions, and comfort food done right. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Park Diner for making our Mother's Day dinner a success! The (visible) kitchen was spotless and the food fantastic. She split our 2 sandwiches on 2 plates 'cause she knew that was our plan. Both the burger and Cheesesteak were delicious! “Underrated bar. I have driven past this bar so many times and never stopped. I finally went inside and it’s actually real nice and comfortable to get a drink. The chicken wings are what everyone recommended so naturally that’s what I got.

The wings are solid. Crispy and so flavorful. They have a ton of choices in flavors just ask the bartender for a menu that has the descriptions of each. The bartender is nice and professional. The beer is icey cold. I will 100% be back for more wings.”

She was very helpful with questions we had and walked us up as she took our 5 drink order. After Gracie, we had Ella who was greeting us and getting our order to us. Our daughter visits often in the Albany/Schenectady market but we are not as versed hence our confusion. Ella asked a few good questions to help navigate where we were unsure. She was apologetic, was very professional, friendly and made us feel so comfortable through the process. She helped us get exactly what we wanted and we left so happy. She talked us through what we could do next visit to make it smoother for us. I asked for her and Gracie’s name because they were both that incredible. The staff (owner and wife) were very knowledgable about celiac disease, my dining companion has this issue, and were most helpful with picking out what would work for her. Excellent soup and sandwich, atmosphere great, and you can't beat the location as it is the perfect compliment for taking a break from shopping. Highly recommend and will be returning soon! The bartender is pleasant as I came in on a Sunday and the first time I had their delicious sweet chili wings! Loved them. i am fussy about wings, as many bars bread them…. thank goodness not here. 10 plus on the taste.
Fries are fabulous…Hot and NO pre-salting, which I really like, or would never order salted nor pre-seasoned fries!

Noise control good too, Most bars in this area, and restaurants too —people yell and scream loudly in general in this area. No idea why(?). It’s a NYC habit perhaps.
It appears a more toned down bar than many others in the area, which is very enjoyable with speaking to my friends….who speak in a moderate tone.

Let me tell you what makes Sarah and her team so INCREDIBLE!From the moment we booked, Sarah was committed to making our vision come to life. We had numerous meetings with Sarah-- first she showed us some past weddings and everything she had available to us. Then I shared my inspiration/photos and we got to work collaborating. Sarah will help you make your ideas real. She even gave me access to her storage room, and gave me free access to all sorts of decorations (table toppers, baskets, signage), which saved me money and time.The biggest thing Sarah did for me is give me peace of mind. Being a bride is SO stressful. Every time I met with Sarah, I walked away feeling assured, supported and inspired. She was so accommodating, answering questions for months in advance leading up to the day, and setting up occasional meetings to look at the venue and plan decorations.Décor: Fast forward to the day before the wedding. I had family and friends helping to get all the table décor together. All we had to do was bring all of our supplies to the View, and show Sarah an example of what we wanted. When we got to the Venue on the big day, magic! She sets everything up for you. And they took care of tear down too so we could enjoy our party, all night long. Everything looked even better than I imagined.Their whole selling point is that they will make your day as stress free as possible. And let me tell you. THEY ARE NOT LYING! We didn't have to worry about a thing.Food: Ok and the food??? SLAMMIN. My one regret on my wedding day is that I only ate 1 bag of clams, lol. All our guests were so happy.Drinks: If you have a special beer/wine you want, Sarah and Patrick will do their best to find it for you, how cool is that? The buffet and bar line moved fast and no one complained about there not being any liquor (something I was worried about).The Bridal Barn: What a special touch! Me and my bridal party shared special private moments together as our guests arrived. Its air conditioned ;). Girls, Sarah makes you feel like a princess. At the conclusion of our ceremony, Sarah had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the Barn. I'll never forget all of us in the wedding party piling into the barn and drinking out of the bottle.The Ceremony: Our ceremony felt so personal and true to us. Per Sarah's suggestion, we hired Barb from House of Treasures to decorate the pergola (sooooo glad we did!!!) Sarah makes sure that guests have access to everything they may need for an outdoor ceremony (sunscreen, bug spray, water bottles).The Venue: GORGEOUS!!! We were blessed with fabulous weather. But even if it rained I was confident Sarah had our backs. Guests took photos along the railing with the sun setting in the valley. Well deserving of the name "The View."Reception: We went with Ryan DeLap, one of the DJs on the Sarah's list. Amazing. We danced alllllll night long!!! We had so many people come up to us and say it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding.I could go on and on and on. Long story short: Book your wedding here. The facilities are beautiful. Sarah is an angel. Wedding venue prices can be heinous. The price we paid for the experience we had... we were just floored. Just beautiful quality from beginning to end. “Great pizza! Amazing flavor and ingredients. We ordered two personal deluxe and veggie deluxe pizzas and they came bursting with toppings!! Cheese, sauce and crust are delicious too. We had to wait a little but it was totally worth it when we tasted the freshness of the pizza. Great quality and the place has a nice 90s restaurant atmosphere. “Family's Diner on Main St. on Binghamton NYs Westside, is a pleasant old style-counter, booth, and table diner. One of the few remaining of it's kind, from an era, three-quarter of a century old.

The diner is run by a group of folks who are both local and from NYC, Jamaica, Bronx, Brooklyn,all areas with the finest cooking you might find.

I usually go when Sha is cooking and serving. She's a super-friendly who would give you the shirt off her back. Sha's smile can soothe a sad heart any day, and her skilled big city chef-experienced cooking, combined with top-notch 5-star quality service, food, and presentation, you can't go wrong.

I haven't yet. To the fine lady who served me on Monday afternoon, thank you for your stories, the courage in your voice, and the warmth of your good soul.

All it takes is a conversation and a meal, with some water or coffee to boot.

Kid-friendliness: The staff are very nice and will certainly treat your kids well, and with respect.

I can’t say enough good things about China Star Restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue in Binghamton! Their dinner special is an absolute steal generous portions, fresh ingredients, and flavors that hit all the right spots. The shrimp egg rolls are a personal favorite; perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious, filling that keeps me coming back for more. The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick, making it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try China Star you won’t be disappointed!”

This place is across from family dollar. There is no restroom here, or at the stores around. Gas station right next to it.”
