“Old Orchard Inn is a bit hard to find even for GPS. Be prepared to not find it on the first try if you have never been here before. The entrance road is hidden, barely paved and rough. Parking is free though. Be prepared to drive slowly when you do enter the driveway. There is a steep upward climb when you walk to the front door. If you are elderly, infirmed or handicapped, a boy with a golf cart will come get you and transport you to and from if you encounter difficulty or simply require mobility assistance. I only know this because I saw it with my own eyes. The wait was a bit long (about 30 minutes). Judy was the waitress; I see reviews with her name from 2012. She must be a lifer. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. She is in command and can handle any customer no matter what happens. She is a good photographer if you need that service as well. Later she brought more menus and took our orders. Although she is not bashful about giving orders as well. I had the grilled lamb salad. A "hard to get" at most places for sure. It was a grilled half rack of New Zealand lamb. Crisp spring greens, goat cheese, roasted red pepper, red onion and lemon chive dressing. Highly recommend this! The sides are served family style to everyone at your table. We had summer squash and carrots, and herb roasted red potatoes. Judy will not do substitutes! The blood orange creme Brule is splendid for dessert. The restroom was a bit silly. The towel dispenser was hung from the ceiling, also just enough room to turn around in there. So, no need to be concerned about sharing it with anyone, you will have plenty of privacy. There is outdoor seating and a duck pond when the weather is nice. There is also a fireplace if the weather is cool. Certainly, memorable and will never be forgotten. In the event you are looking for something very unique with a flair for charm, the Old Orchard Inn may be just your ticket for elegance, relaxation and fun. Caveat Emptor.“

“I showed up at 1030, an hour early on a Sunday. I read online you should arrive 30-60 minutes before opening. I was the first one there and sat by myself until 11:15. In the last 15 minutes before opening I think probably 20 more People showed up. By 1145 the restaurant was full and there was a line outside. When we left around 1230 there were a lot of people outside waiting and im sure many more who were walking around the nearby stores waiting for the text that their table was ready.
The restaurant is a tight squeeze but it is worth it. Our server was great. Checked on us many times. Very friendly. I would recommend grabbing a table on the deck or toward the front of the bar. We sat in the back and there is not much room and a lot of traffic from the kitchen and bathroom.
Food was excellent. I see why they are constantly called the best wings in Buffalo. We got the medium and the cajun-honeybutter-bbq. They are large wings and came out extra crispy. We also got a side of the fried cheese curds which were garlicy and awesome.
I dont have a bad thing to say except one of the cooks (who was very nice) was wearing a Ravens hat. Besides that everything was great and I cant wait to go back.“

“From beginning to end, everything was top notch. The waiter was very attentive, and the owner was very pleasant. The food was delicious. From the deviled eggs, calamari, chicken Milanese, and the scallops on tomato based risotto, everything was delicious! And to top it all off was two different kinds of cakes. “I have been looking for a place to eat breakfast in East Aurora. Being from Pittsburgh and visiting I did not know where to go. I found the Iron Kettle on Google and saw their menu included steak & eggs, plus country potatoes. The steak was seasoned perfect, and people make you feel welcomed. Highly recommend this place, you can’t go wrong. 👍👍👍👍👍👍“

“I have not played a round of golf yet this year, but since the opening of Nora’s on 9 I have eaten here several times. I’ve enjoyed the Hotdog with chili sauce to the smash burger. Onion rings or fries or even the Tots. To this point the food has been spot on, and always served with a smile. Highly recommended“

“Like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, Rodney’s came to the rescue! We initially went for lunch at a very new, trendy new spot on Lakeshore Road. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated. The place was so loud! No band. No loud music. Just loud everything else. People talking, dishes clanking and who knows what else, it was so loud. There’s no way you could carry on a conversation without shouting. So we left right away. Next we tried a popular seafood restaurant nearby and were treated like second-class citizens just by inquiring how long the wait was. Out of there. Rodney’s was almost across the street so we went there. Best idea ever! Our hostess was friendly. Our server was a hoot. Funny, helpful and got everything exactly right. The food was excellent too. A cozy, clean spot right by the lake. I recommend Rodney’s highly.“

“I wasn’t sure what to expect- I found the place on google while I was searching for a fun place to take my wife on Valentine’s Day that we’ve never been to. Looked cute in the pictures, so figured would give it a shot…and I am so so so happy we did! It has an incredible rustic feel (being an actual old Mill that’s almost 200 years old) and a warm a cozy vibe. The hostess was very kind, and sat us immediately, even though we were a tad early for our reservation. My wife was super excited because there was a working wood-burning stove right next to our table and it was so calming and toasty! The waitress was a delight, and incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Since it was V-Day they had a special menu for the night, and I promise every option looked incredible- it was really hard to choose! Needless to say, the Steak I ordered was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection. The drink menu has some delicious options as well, and fit the vibe perfectly! For desert I got this insane Apple Fritter + ice cream bowl that really blew me away. If I wasn’t so full, I would’ve ordered a second it was so good! Such an awesome place. I was charged $23.99 for shrimp scampi and much smaller portion from past order. Fish fry was listed as $15.99 was charged 21.99. They need to let you know the prices are higher than what is listed in their menu. ?‍♀️“
