“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“Love this bar so much. My friends and I go there all the time after our gigs, and the server Joanne always takes such good care of us. The food is delicious, the vibes are cozy, and everything is super clean. A great place to have a drink or bring your loved ones!

Vegetarian options: Not a veg heavy menu, but I'm sure if you asked for options they would make something for you. It's just that kind of place.

Parking: Parking can be tough, especially on the weekends.

As a SAIL or I choose to come to the town dock from time to time to get some things in town that are very convenient. Nick behind the bar Megan Tiffany are all very personable and quick to serve.

I foolishly has as old man walked out the door without paying my bill on a Tuesday. I had come back and paid with cash on Wednesday and Thursday Daren the owner connected with me to make sure I knew I totally forgot. She could not have been any nicer!“

“The food served here was very good, i had the sizzling sirloin 10/10. Aside from that I had accidentally left my purse at the dinner table while taking a call and my party had left without knowledge that my purse was there. Before i could notice i was already an hour away. The manager at this location and his staff were very helpful with this issue. When i found proper arrangements to get my things they secured my items and made sure nothing was taken. Very appreciated thank you 🙏“

“We had dinner there tonight for the first time and it will not be our last. Absolutely adorable back room ambiance and both the food and the service were fantastic! Bella was our waitress and she was outstanding. Patient, extremely knowledgeable and helped us explaining many menu items helping us make our selections. The food was sooooo good. Homemade cornbread to die for. I would give the truffle macaroni and cheese was a 10!!! The garlic Parmesan wings delicious and also the spinach and artichoke pizzetta. We had white sangria that was awesome as well as apple crumb pie Ala mode. Every single item was really honestly so delicious!!!! We enjoyed our experience and will definite back again!“

“We had a very nice meal here back in October. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding and took excellent care of us. The location is fantastic, sitting right on the water and made for a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari appetizer (very good), the Sauteed Flounder, which was okay and not worth $40, and the Gourmet Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Since we came over on our boat, we weren't drinking, but the bar area looked pretty cool. We will come back again.“

Mind you the Village of Babylon was hosting their THURSDAY BLOCK PARTY SERIES so the village and Lily were packed but yet we felt valued as customers, our server never missed a beat tremendous. Of of the food and drinks are always outstanding, who knew you can get great empanadas at an Irish restaurant, well take it from me, OUTSTANDING.

The staff greeted you with smiles and were very friendly.

“The tasty food options are always changing, with some favorite staples remaining. The cocktails are also seasonal, which I love. Ambience is cozy and quirky. They're in between locations right now so no liquor license, but they let us know ahead of time and we were more than happy to BYOB (and in my case a premixed Manhattan—they provided me with a coupe glass and ice to shake my cocktail). It took several requests to get water & even when we did get it, they only brought us 1 which wasn't even even enough to fill all our glasses! We ordered a Cos Amigos regular margarita & it came w/ salt & pepper on it?! I really don't like pepper but it was too difficult to get anyone to change it so we wiped it off. We also had a glass of wine & the pour was super small... I was there the previous Thurs for lunch & all our glasses had a generous pour, which is the usual case so was surprised by this. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.“

“I was in town from Florida visiting cousins & they heard great things about this place, so we figured we would try it out! Well, it did NOT disappoint in every way! The decor and vibe is really cool with a beach/nautical theme. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted brussel sprouts & the Shepherd’s Pie was to die for! Our waitress, Nicole, was great and funny! The bartenders, Joe & Katie, made amazing & different cocktails and were so warm & attentive! They had a one man band singing who was really talented! We even met the owners who could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive making sure we were having a great time and we were happy with everything!
