“We came here as a detour while driving out of town. Place is amazing and authentic (we are from LI). Only issue is it's definitely an eat-in place. We ate in the parking lot since we had our pets with us and there wasn't a garbage can nearby.

Food was so delicious and great portions. Mole with enchiladas wasnt too greasy and had the right amount of sweet. Guacamole was some of the best we have had. Chicken quesadilla and birria tacos were A+. Highly recommend making the trip to come here!”

“I went to Froggys today for the first time and was blown away by the guy at the register greeting. (Second to none). He wasn’t too busy to speak and didn’t seem as if he didn’t want to be there. His smile, his greeting and attentiveness showed me something I have yet to see at any deli I’ve ever eaten at. And the sandwich (#13) was amazing too. I will most certainly be back.”

“The best Sicilian in Putnam County. Crunchy bottom, soft and tasty inside. My husband and I get a whole pie, it’s the best fresh out of the oven, we eat two or three slices in the restaurant and take home the rest, freeze for lunches. Bring a devoted Sicilian slice customer I ventured out to a salad, not any salad, their Asian salad. Cold crisp romaine lettuce, crispy chow mein noodles, sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, and the best Asian dressing. Really a very enjoyable salad. A great place for good food and great staff.”

“Ordered through DoorDash. The food came quickly and hot as well as correct. We ordered the hibachi noodles, shrimp and vegetable tempura, beef negimaki and sweet potato rolls. The beef negimaki and sweet potato rolls were very good. The hibachi noodles were a bit gummy but ok tasting and the tempura lacked favor. All in all they were good portions and reasonably priced. Would definitely order from here again.”

“The food is always delicious. Whenever I order from the place I get so excited. The wings are delicious surprise or delicious although the mozzarella sticks the cheese is a little dry. Everything else is really good. Most of the time they’re on, but the longest they’ve been late is like 20 minutes. I recommend going here.”

“I’ve been going here since late last year, and I haven’t had anything they’ve made that I didn’t love. If I had to choose, the Paris-Brest pastries are ridiculously good and the carrot cake is the best one I’ve ever had, hands down.”

They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. Love that this is local and I can have a yummy cheap meal anytime.”

I thought that was excellent customer service, not too often found anymore. I went this evening and not only received my credit but an additional pizza as well. “Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner who we recently spoke with on the phone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and special. If you are looking for a great place to dine in I highly recommend Mezzaluna Restaurant”

“We came here for our anniversary tonight. The food was exceptional!! We got the eat like a chef and had sssooo much food. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, we especially loved the polenta mushroom appetizer and the scallops and risotto entree, and the cheese cake for dessert were all amazing. A lot of the food is all from their local farm in Sherman CT which is incredible too!!

Tried to run my card, and she kept jamming it into the machine. Never one apology, let’s make things right etc. been going here for years. But after tonight, my family and all the friends I’ve told, won’t either. Shame, this used to be the go to place where the old owners were there.”
