“Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner who we recently spoke with on the phone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and special. If you are looking for a great place to dine in I highly recommend Mezzaluna Restaurant“

“What a nice quaint restaurant with a very comfortable atmosphere in small cozy setting. The wait staff was very nice and attentive. Very good food. Wine selection is a little lacking but doable. Price was a little high and parking was a little challenging.“

“best Italian food I've had in a long time!! 5 stars for the vodka sauce, arancini, the "sober melone" prohibition cocktail, and the muppets bathroom door art. fast and friendly staff, our waitress Grace was great!! im definitely making this a go to spot on my next trip to my home away from home!“

“Awesome place for an easy dinner. Although from the naked eye you may just think this is a dive bar. But the place has some of the best food around. Their burgers and wings are DELICIOUS! Not to mention their weekly specials are (1/2 price burger night, wing night, steak dinner night) definitely worth a try! The owner and his wife are also very helpful with food allergies and making sure the food is safe.“
“The restaurant is very well done. The atmosphere is great and well thought-out. I have been there twice and service was exceptional both times. Valet parking is a nice touch for a cold night. The food is a bit disappointing for this price point. I ordered an ahi crusted tuna special that came out partially frozen. They told me it came with grilled asparagus but it was served with sauteed spinach. This was fine, as I used the spinach to melt the tuna. The steak tartare app was just ok. My guest ordered the lobster fra diavolo and it took them 25 minutes to alert us that they ran out of lobsters. This was after they told him they ran out Peroni beer. The desert was solid and nice selections of after dinner teas.“

“Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service! I’m vegan and their veggie burger and sweet potato fries were so good! Sophia was the sweetest server and super attentive and friendly! She gave me great recommendations for visiting Brooklyn and Hofstra, too— the best! I will definitely go again next time I visit the area. Bonus— you can buy food for the ducks who politely visit.“
