“I was sadden that this previous occupants of this space had closed. This lovely space within the building that houses the Palace Theatre, in the center of the Eastwood business and office district, seems fitted for a successful small coffee shop. So I was over erjoyed a few years ago when other entrepreneurs ventured to give it a try at serving the Eastwood Community with their specialty coffee house. The business seems to be going strong, having expanded their hours a few months back.I like the place. It shows that Eastwood is a place where hipsters can hang out. It is also a good stop if you live in Eastwood and are taking advantage of living in a walkable urban neighborhood.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegan bake goods available.Dietary restrictions: They have non-dairy options for coffee based drinks.Parking: Saturday and Sunday street parking is free (unofficial on Saturdays). The parking lot behind the building has plenty of parking when there isn't an event at the theatre. But if you live in Eastwood, why not take a walk and leave the car at home.“
“Looking for a local breakfast joint to start our day, a Google search yielded the interesting Sunshine's Coffee Shop with good reviews, so we made our way over there. A little off the beaten path around the Syracuse airport, but totally visible on the corner. We placed our order for breakfast sandwiches and the home fries with onions. Plus coffee. All delicious! Sunshine's is a small place, with a couple booths plus small tables. Very homey feel. Great way to start our day!!“

“I like coming here. It was nice to see a non-chain bagel shop opened. The Food is tasty the shop appears clean. Prices and bagel style are similar to bruggers bagels. This is no Long Island bagel (sorry folks) but it’s pretty good for Syracuse (probably top 3 in the area for sure). Service does seem scattered, maybe a bit slow and or disorganized. I think it’s the way they lay things out in the shop. Employees are constantly running around to give you half and half. I find this annoying and I’m not the one running Around! I would hate to wear those shoes. This seems pretty fixable issue with a counter top cooler (this is what Stewart’s shop and many gas stations do). You serve your own creamer anyway. Atmosphere is pretty typical for a bagel shop. In store Traffic flow is often confusing because people are often waiting with the same people on line. Again, annoying but not a deal breaker.“
“Cafe kubal is our go to place for coffee, brunch sandwiches whether we order through Grubhub or we are walking in. They are super quick and have always been super nice! They also just expanded so it's much bigger with an extra room where you can sit and do work! When we order for delivery, everything comes wrapped, tidy, and still warm. Some of their sandwiches have changed and are not updated on the menu; however, they are very good at calling you for substitutions, which is greatly appreciated. The past two times when we have ordered, our coffee was made incorrectly and a sandwich was incorrect. Maybe a glitch! But their coffee is great even with nothing extra in it!!“
“I used the dunkin app to order before i went inside. Coffee was done quickly and to order. The only slightly strange thing was the person placing the drink in the pickup area did not call out the names on the order. So if you were waiting for an order you had to check when a new cup was placed in the pickup area. Not a big deal but slightly annoying.“
“I wanted an iced Chai, but I did forget to say iced. I got a warm chai. I tasted it and I loved it. My two buddies got their stuff and we were chilling and enjoying our purchases. The batista stops by our table and I told him I forgot to say "iced" and he was willing to get me an iced chai. That is my go to place from now on. “This morning was that awful snowstorm, and I couldn’t even make it to work driving in it. I pulled into the DD parking lot to wait for the snow to ease up. I went in while I waited, and by the time I finished ordering a large coffee and just any donut; it was in front of me! I didn’t get an offer of a receipt to thank the two women working there, and the tap to pay didn’t prompt to add a tip, but it was a really nice part of a bad morning. The donut they picked for me was also really good, some big glob of frosting on top.“
“I love a good Dunkin' cup of coffee when I run out of my own coffee ingredients at home. But can we please have a drive thru option here? There are many times where I will skip this location entirely as I have a toddler in the car and sometimes it's just not worth the hassle of bringing her inside to grab a cup of coffee.. even if I promise her a donut. It's 2023, you can literally order groceries curbside. This is my petition for a drive thru addition :)“
“Our favorite stop on Friday night. Staff is always friendly& have great ideas if you want to try something new. Drinks are always delicious & if in the rare occasion a mistake is made. They are very quick to resolve the issue. One problem with the location is that there is a cut through to the casino. I have seen people go the wrong way around the building. While others speed through the main entrance. Just be very careful when entering the main entrance heading toward the drive thru. Praying no one gets hurt.“
“I've been here several times and I can honestly say that the food has always been good. I mostly come for breakfast, they always make my eggs perfect ( I like them over medium) the bacon is always perfectly cooked and the food is very good. Service is kinda hit or miss, this visit I never even got my coffee warmed up... my wife however did get a refill of her juice. Still better service than Applebee's and this little diet was packed with only what looked like 2 waitresses.“
“This is my favorite Dunkin in the area, between Oswego & Onondaga counties. I have been going to this location for over a year now. I can only recall once that they gave me the wrong order and they had that fixed in about a minute. The employees remember your name when you’re a regular which is sweet (even when I got a new car!). I recently discovered some food intolerances & the staff have been amazingly patient explaining what’s in the syrups etc. Plus their drinks are actually consistent from this location!Vegetarian options: Plenty of dairy free alternatives … I am not personally veg but low FODMAP and they are very helpful with all of my many restrictions.“
“I recently visited Salt City Coffee and had a fantastic experience. The two young ladies behind the counter provided amazing customer service. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome. The coffee muffin I ordered was incredible in both taste and texture. It was moist and flavorful, a perfect complement to my coffee. Speaking of which, the coffee they recommended turned out to be amazing. It was strong, just as I had requested, which was much needed after long hours of video editing on only four hours of sleep. I highly recommend Salt City Coffee for their excellent customer service and delicious offerings!! ?“
