“I became a regular diner to Riley’s a couple of years ago. Gotta tell ya, the food is as good as any high restaurant I eat at and I dine out a lot. Fun, delicious, quality menu that has never once disappointed on any item, ever. Yes it is mostly basic pub food but so are 50% of the restaurants on Long Island now and Fibbers is perfect and priced more than fair. Can’t remember the servers but the two ladies are always right there, refills on drinks, food on time and always with a smile regardless how busy they are. Come back soon guys! “I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“Came to N.Y. for visit, from Texas & Georgia, but originally from here. My brother & I were staying across the street at the Raddison hotel. We walked in, were greeted immediately, with a pleasant hello! Seated right away! Our server, Valerie, greeted us with her sweet personality. She was very kind and courteous, and had great customer service! I have a nut allergy, I brought to her attention. She made sure to thoroughly check with the cook, to be sure the new menu item, I was ordering, did not contain any nuts! I ordered the Bayou Shrimp bowl, which was delicious I might add, with this amazing side sauce for the shrimp, that I couldn’t get enough of! Valerie immediately let me know that it was safe to consume which I greatly appreciated. My brother had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli, which was also delicious! The manager, Carol, also stopped by our table, to be sure all was going well, very pleasant. I was in the service industry, waitressing/bartending, for many years, so when I go into an establishment, and I get excellent customer service and delicious food, I love to brag about it! I’m quite critical how I’m being served, and Valerie, Did Not disappoint! She was exceptional. She deserves more than 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The decor and vibe is really cool with a beach/nautical theme. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted brussel sprouts & the Shepherd’s Pie was to die for! Our waitress, Nicole, was great and funny! The bartenders, Joe & Katie, made amazing & different cocktails and were so warm & attentive! They had a one man band singing who was really talented! We even met the owners who could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive making sure we were having a great time and we were happy with everything! “Last Wednesday I was at Davis vision works and we walk to the restaurant for lunch whem we get the we were standing up for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a table. finally whem someone come to us and without asking if we need a table rigth away he say is was 15 mint wait, me while the restaurant wasn't even packed it was a lot of table empty and even like that he was going to make us to wait more. really bad service and rude attention. we have money to pay it wasn't like we were asking for a free table. people are really racist at this place. “I had an outstanding experience here at the east Islip Applebees! Our server was Andrew, and he was super attentive and friendly. The general manager Abby stopped by our table to greet us and ask how our meals were! You don’t see this service consistently nowadays. Will definitely be back soon!“

“We've had great experiences at Nu. It's a quiet spot, usually, and the food is really great. We always get filet mignon or their pork chop, which is fabulous. Their wine list is great, and the service is always top notch. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to service. I like to have great service but also be left alone, which is exactly what they do. The servers have always been attentive and professional. They know what to recommend and can advise you on the menu. I have to repeat. Their food is GREAT! although I do always order the filet mignon. It's the best .“

“Wanted to find somewhere relaxed to grab dinner and this was it. Very nice atmosphere, food portions were plentiful, and all of the ingredients were fresh. I had gotten chips, salsa, and guac for an appetizer; loved that it was both salsa and guac. Would absolutely return and recommend to others.“
