“A great beer hall with a selection of classic food. We love coming here, it’s one of the best places to drink in Astoria. It gets a little hot and crowded in summer, but it’s a delightful visit. When the tap lines are freshly cleaned, they can also put some exceptional beers out - they are one of the few spots with Czechvar in the city. If you have a sporting event you wanna watch or you just wanna hang out with friends, it’s a good shout!“

“What I recommend about said establishment is just about everything for a long time. One new & special edition is a self portrait of one of the owners Zach Mack. Though the man’s name would imply neon electricity it’s much more tame than that. Food for thought it said artist decides to do another.“

“The atmosphere and service were outstanding. We only went for desert and coffee. The chocolate cake was amazing. A couple we vacationed with has eaten dinner there 2 nights before and said how amazing the food was. One of the staff members even gave us a personal tour and history of the building. “Incredible cocktail/beer bar with a completely original vibe. I've been coming here since they opened in 2015 and it's been a consistently fun experience. Beyond their great cocktail/beer lineup, their greatest offering is perhaps the unique array of frozen drinks that start up in Spring and last until the autumn. Frozen paper planes, penicillins, a boozy take on a mango lassi (!)...and so much more. And a hell of a backyard to boot...you simply gotta go here.“

“Great neighborhood bar. I was in town for a few days and ducked in for a quick drink. I met some awesome local folks - Ona, Jason, and Adam were so much fun! The food was good for a bar, the bourbon was reasonably priced, the service from the bartender was just right and the atmosphere was more than I was expecting - a fun, chill, no frills bar was just what I was looking for. I left feeling that I truly do have A Wonderful Life. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in NYC!“

Great place to go with medium - large groups of friends. Very clean and food overall is perfect to enjoy over drinks and conversation. Had live music the night we came here.“

“Been there a few times. I must say food is fantastic!!! The fish tacos and the southwestern chicken sandwich is a must try. They have different specials everyday. Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family. Great spot for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Highly recommended!!“
