“I used to come here years ago when I lived in the area... Went back after about 8 years and man was the food still delicious. Still got stickey rip tips with bbq, the chicharron de pollo with the black garlic sauce is just great!Not to mention the pork fried rice and general tso's chicken was also very delicious.Thank you foohing for the great food.“

“One of the more unique place in the Bronx. Its actually a hidden gem and I'm surprised it hasnt gone viral. If youre asian and dont speak spanish here, they're gonna mess with you.

Parking: if youre not local, its best to just uber or take the subway here. Not really worth getting your car messed up or waste time driving around to find parking.

Although I no longer work in the area, I will travel from a distant area in the Bronx to this restaurant. I have never eaten from this restaurant & gotten an upset stomach. The Chinese Restaurants in the area where I live, I have gotten an upset stomach from eating from them. Once is enough, I don't go to the ones in my neighborhood, period. So if you are in the area of Yankee Stadium, it is 1 block east of them on Gerard Avenue. 👍“

“DO NOT order food from any other chinese restaurant other than CHINESE GOURMET. The workers are extremely friendly and courteous, literally. Their food is DELICIOUS with the urge of wanting more. Their prices are reasonable and trust me, you get a lot for your buck.

“We eat at the New Green Dragon at least once a week. Food is always on point. Always fresh large portions. The restaurant itself has a very comfortable atmosphere. All the servers are very friendly and attentive. But I have to say Cindy is the heart of the restaurant!! Always makes you feel like family. Very attentive and knowledgeable always making excellent recommendations spends time at your table….. great personality makes the time there enjoyable. The reason we keep coming back.“

Everything was delicious and arrived as expected. The driver called me before he arrived following my requests to pick up my food within half hour of ordering. I ordered thru grubhub, it was $18 plus $10 in delivery, taxes and 15% tip fees. Prices reflect good quality ingredients. I would definitely order again.“

I haven't had many different dishes because I always get the same thing. I love it... Spare rib tips, pork fried rice with vegetables and bbq sauce/hot sauce. I don't like the chicken in the chicken soup. I've had better. They spoke good, clear English and are quite speedy with the correct orders. Price range is in the middle.
