“I’ve been going here for 30 years and the owner is such a nice/kind man! Other staff is great too and are always friendly. The food is always great! Chicken wings & fries are always great. The spare ribs and rib tips are always delicious. One of the few places that have ham fried rice, which is yummy as well. They make the best shrimp broccoli I’ve ever tasted. Other places always make the broccoli too hard and barely any sauce but they make it just right. Lo mein is good too!“

“My goto for Chinese and Japanese take out in Throggs Neck. Their food, drinks and noodles with duck sauce reminds me of the old Hawaii Sea on Tremont. I always order from them and I am never disappointed. But this review is not for the great food but for them going above and beyond to please a customer. A friend of mine caught a fresh yellow fin tuna and I wanted to make my own sushi. They sold me their sushi rice which is awesome and included all the condiments I needed to make the meal with my family a success. I also purchased some shumai cuz theirs are the bomb. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me make it all possible and suggesting what saki from the liquor store next door to make my authentic Japanese meal at home. Most places would be stand offish but they actually applauded me and asked me to show them pictures when I came back. Atmosphere wise, the restaurant isn't one you can eat inside because it's quite small but they make up for it with all the things I mentioned above. “Kai Asian Fusion was the perfect choice for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday dinner. The restaurant was welcoming, flexible, and made it easy to host a group with both adults and kids. But the real star of the night was the food.

Everything was so good. The fried chicken was a huge hit, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The egg rolls and spring rolls were fresh, crunchy, and disappeared fast. The chicken in garlic sauce was absolutely delicious, and the noodles were full of flavor and cooked just right. Honestly, dish after dish was a win, which is a big deal when you’re feeding a crowd with different tastes.

Jay, the manager (and possibly owner), was wonderful to work with. He was responsive, easy to communicate with, and very reasonable with pricing, which made the entire experience stress free.

Highly recommend Kai Asian Fusion for group dinners or just a really good meal. We all left happy and full!

“This is your typical Chinese takeout restaurant. No seats standing room only. It doesn't look the best. It could use some paint and remove the clutter to make it feel more inviting. Despite it's sketchy appearance the gentleman behind the counter is pleasant and helpful. They serve your typical Chinese American dishes however, they also offer Japanese style and Korean style of the popular dishes which adds to the variety. The food is tasty and the Korean style sauce is my favorite. All the dishes I had from here always tasted freshly cooked except the fries (hit or miss). I would definitely order from here again.“

Although I no longer work in the area, I will travel from a distant area in the Bronx to this restaurant. I have never eaten from this restaurant & gotten an upset stomach. The Chinese Restaurants in the area where I live, I have gotten an upset stomach from eating from them. Once is enough, I don't go to the ones in my neighborhood, period. So if you are in the area of Yankee Stadium, it is 1 block east of them on Gerard Avenue. 👍“

“I been coming here for years. Definitely really good food every time. I never been disappointed and never gotten my order wrong. They just got stingy with the sauces. You were able to ask for extra hot sauce and they would give you. Now you have to paid them extra for 2-3 more packets. Other than that it’s my go to Chinese spot.“
