“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“You guys did it again! I needed a lot of food for a welcome back teachers event and with only two days notice you guys delivered!!! Literally…food was delicious and delivered on time. The salads (macaroni, potato, Cole slaw) that came along with the order were on point! For reference we had the Marco Polo, siciliano, pork sliders, and the mini sandwiches ( one full tray of vegetarian) EVERYONE came over to us to say how delicious everything was. “Hugo's Gourmet is a place like no other. They welcome you with respect and warmth. So many options to choose from their Menu, and if you don't see something, they will make it for you. What i like most is everything is made to order (yes there's a waiting time) but I prefer freshly made over something seating there for hours and being toss into a microwave. Also, the cooks are friendly and clean the kitchen on a daily basis (not to many businesses do that)They treat you like family and I will miss this place.“

“We only ordered catering service from them for our daughter wedding few years ago , and couple of times for the big gathering last year and this year. They have a great catering menu. The owner and stuff were always helpful with choice and quantity we needed. They also accommodate special requests regarding allergies and dietary restrictions. “I have been coming here for many years, the staff here is mostly Spanish Cooks people, Habibi counter staff, very polite and attentive, multiple items for drink and food selections, hot food done on the spot, a lot of candies, chips, sodas, juices, emergency items like toilet paper, diapers, they have a small deli area, but you can order smoothies and any type of salad cold or hot, it doesn't have no meat market or anything but a small selection of deli items. No Uber Eats here. ATM machine here. It's wheelchair accessible but it will be very tight and small space to travel once in the store, it's easier for a walker or a person with a cane. They speak English and Spanish. They have beer here. Accept EBT, debit and credit cards, and of course cash. You can also buy lighters, raw paper, Bongs, weed trays, Hooka items, some medicines, hot and cold coffee, hot chocolate and cappuccino. Fruit bowls, slices of cakes, etc.“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“For a deli the food is what you would expect. The cooks are polite and fast. A lot of options but could use more and needs to update the food board menu. They don't have a fryer so I couldn't get French Fries as an option with my burger. Things like that they should look into updating.“

“This is a great deli. The place is modern and has a wide selection. There is coffee, milk, and sandwiches. It's close to a school. They even have slushies and a freezer. I like this deli the most on the main street. It's a great deli.

“Stopped here for breakfast on a trip to Fordham. Ordered bacon, egg, cheese and hash brown on a Kaiser roll.

I got exactly what one wants from an NYC Bodega/Deli egg sandwich.

The bacon was meaty/salty/smokey. The yellow American cheese was gooey. The hash brown was crispy. The griddled eggs were fluffy.

Or course, after they cook it, they wrap it in foil, which is part of what makes the sandwich great: While I walked five to ten minutes to find a bench on which to sit down and eat, the residual heat and steam warmed the roll so the gluten was amplified and the bread got chewy.

I've never seen them be rude to anyone in my many years of going there. The shop can get a bit cramped so watch your shoulders and be polite to everyone there.“

“One of my to go spots everytime I’m near by! Amazing authentic tacos and Mexican food I love there steak, chicken and Al pastor tacos. Their sauces are just perfect the green is not spicy and there red sauce is spicy but just perfect! Sandwiches are another one of my go today they are so good and made to your liking! They are so quick, I’ve had both take out and local delivery. You can call them directly not just Uber eats or door dash! I love how they also have fresh juices made to order. Such as freshly squeezed orange juice & beet, carrot juice green juice, they even have breakfast like pancakes eggs Home fries! Another thing that I like is how they have authentic Mexican chips and treats that makes me feel as if I was in Mexico!“
