“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“Sal has sold out and gone up North but the workers like Shorty have stayed on with the new owners, prices have gone up, but the grill is still pumping out great hot eats, but stay away from the fries and deep fried stuff as the oil often looks like motor oil, at least walk over to the back and observe the color before you think about the fries, otherwise it's a great place for a hot or cold sandwich and a drink“

“I walk by this place everyday and stopped in one day to try the food because I was hungry and just got off the train. I was hesitant at first because I read the reviews and people complained about the food and service. I wanted to try for myself and see.

The place is clean and well organized. They also have plenty of menu items. I ordered the steak and cheese with pepper jack cheese and everything on it and a side of fries.
The cook was attentive and friendly. The steak and cheese was probably the best that I have had since I moved back to NYC.. I just moved from Florida.

The fries were not as good though which is why I took away a star. I love French fries and they tasted like they were warmed up or something. I also bought some snacks and they had some healthy selections for snacks which is a plus.

The cashier was also friendly and also attentive.

Overall it was a good experience and I will probably be back. The location is the best.
My only suggestion would be to elevate the French fries.“

“If you need anything from the deli ask for my man Chef Chris! He's usually on after 2:30p everyday. Not only is he if not the best chef, one of the best in NYC, he's an effin machine; fast, efficient, friendly, and passionate about his art. As busy as the store is with hundreds of people in and out every hour Chris, along with the rest of the crew knows their clientele and renders personalized services. Whenever I step foot inside and see my man Chris working the deli all I gotta do is say "one" or "two" and I'm taking care of. Very consistent and down to Earth people to do your business with.“

“I had the pork sandwich with cilantro, carrots, jalapeños, and mayo on a fresh roll. Once home I pulled the jalapeños and was mostly happy. The mayo made the sandwich a bit too sweet for me, but that's a matter of taste. But never mind. This one very good sandwich made one very good dinner.“

I got exactly what one wants from an NYC Bodega/Deli egg sandwich.

The bacon was meaty/salty/smokey. The yellow American cheese was gooey. The hash brown was crispy. The griddled eggs were fluffy.

Or course, after they cook it, they wrap it in foil, which is part of what makes the sandwich great: While I walked five to ten minutes to find a bench on which to sit down and eat, the residual heat and steam warmed the roll so the gluten was amplified and the bread got chewy.

“Hi I like coming to this deli, as it's an old fashioned deli. In my area deli's, when you order a sandwich, roast beef or a ham and cheese. You only get a couple of slices of cold cuts. Their sauces are just perfect the green is not spicy and there red sauce is spicy but just perfect! Sandwiches are another one of my go today they are so good and made to your liking! They are so quick, I’ve had both take out and local delivery. You can call them directly not just Uber eats or door dash! I love how they also have fresh juices made to order.
