“I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The food is awful. Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“I made a reservation for a post marathon group and Amity Hall Uptown hit it out of the park!

My group as a little late, and they accommodated without missing a beat, switching us to a larger table once the whole crew arrived after a delay.

Big shout out to the staff: front of house, to the wait staff to the runners/kitchen and bartenders (and the DJ, for all the marathon runner shout outs) The food was good and the dinks was cold.“

“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! Dog friendly bar need I say more? Yes. What is so important? The fact that no one said a word when Bailey joined me on cushioned bench in the primo booth. And we both appreciated the ample window picturing Amsterdam avenue business, like tv to her, she told me.

Bartender did his job cool and proper by leaving us alone to nurse my beer and our water. We will be back.“

“I absolutely love Urbano Cafe Bar!!! The aesthetics are so cute and create the perfect atmosphere. The food is amazing—especially the chicken wings, which are a must-try no matter what sauce you pick. My personal favorites are the buffalo and sweet chili. The Urbano burger and fries are freshly made and delicious, and the tacos are packed with fresh ingredients. They also offer a great happy hour with the option to get a cubetazo of 5 beers!

The music selection is on point and perfectly complements the vibe, with tunes ranging from Earth, Wind & Fire to Ashanti. It really enhances the whole experience.

But honestly, the best thing about this place is the customer service. Ricky is incredibly attentive, sweet, kind, and super talented. He made our experience so much better. I will definitely be coming back again and again for the food, drinks, and especially Ricky's exceptional service!“

“I love their happy hour that starts at noon as well as their beer selection but allow me to say this about their outside seating service: it is dam near nonexistent except for a tall beautiful black woman from a few months back and a young man named Norie who served me last week. These two people were the ONLY ones that were attentive to me in all the times I sat outside to drink. I was actually surprised how much Norie checked in with me, because aside from him and the aforementioned, I was often treated as an afterthought. Very often i would even go inside to the bar myself to get my own refills!
Again, they have a fabulous happy hour and i do like the out of the way location with my bus stop across the street. The food is decent if a little overpriced for bar food but at least its not as bad as The Bronx Public. Again, if you sit outside then hopefully your assigned server is Norie!“

And I have lived on 149/150 th since 1996. if you told me the cute , cool vinyl spot it is now I would not believe you but it's real.. I love coming here to hang😁...“

Parking: We were early on a week day in February, so parking was simple. I am sure it can get difficult on weekends and during the summer.“

The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“
