“Overall, Haiku is pretty good, they are consistent and I like them. To my understanding, there are 3 locations around me including the White Plains, Scarsdale and Bronxville locations. I have found that the Bronxville location ONLY charges me for a lesser substititution. I ordered a sushi roll and opted out of TUNA for a substitution that is cheaper in price, and I was charged a fee, again, only at this location, as I have done this at the White Plains/Scarsdale locations and no additional fee was charged. I cannot see why I was charged a fee, like I said, the replacement that I opted for is lesser in price than tuna and I believe the sushi is made fresh everytime, so I would say it was an INCONVENIENCE fee, but in this instance, I don't know if that can be applied, but who knows. Again, only at this location. Just a heads up for fellow customers.“

“I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

Checking below on the comment and saw someone wrote something bad about the cook. You must not know nothing about food. I on the other hand gurantee Oasis food is real good. I love the french toast, the Cheeseburger with Crispy onion rings and they steak sandwich wich sautéed onions is bomb. They also serve great mangu for all my latinos that like it. They also have great chicken noodle soup that cant be bought anywhere else. If you are ever around tiffany and east bay make sure to stop at Oasis Coffee Shop. Just down the block is a nice park where you can take your food and watch the manhattan skyline from across the water. Oasis also delivers if you need food at the park. Free delivery! Also try their home made lemonade!!! Idk what else to shout out cause all they food is good. They also make chicken tacos and amazing qusadillas. Authentic mexican cusine and the right touch to make tatse ? thank you Oasis for catering to all of us at the point.“

“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!“

“Above all this new owner created a new atmosphere that seems very charming and comfortable. For my time here I received chocolate chip pancakes(a stack of four) w/ 2 hash browns and they were very tasty and filling. The chocolate pancakes weren’t too sweet but very carb heavy. I got a crazy potato with a cheese stick. It wasn’t dry nor too moist, the softest part was definitely the inside with the cheese. I also got a sunshine slush and a mango slush. The sunshine was a mango and strawberry mix with the same flavored bubbles and some small jelly cubes that were a happy surprise. The mango slush is much more recommended since it wasn’t too sweet and would relate more towards a frozen agua Fresca so very refreshing and light.

“I had the three sliders this time. They were very good. I wish they had asked me if I wanted cheese on all three. They only had cheese on one. But that's minor. The taste was wonderful. The fries were crispy. And our waiter was wonderful. Kept checking on us. I really like this diner so when I'm down County I try to stop in for something to eat. Definitely recommend this diner“
