“After having a falling out with our original catering company just weeks before our wedding, finding La Cucina Paisanos was truly a blessing in disguise. From the very first moment we walked into the restaurant to see if they might be an option for our wedding, we were warmly greeted by Nick, the owner, and immediately felt at ease. Nick took the time to walk us through the entire catering process and even allowed us to sample several menu items since we hadn’t yet had the chance to try the food. That level of care and hospitality set the tone for the entire experience. The customer service from Nick and the entire La Cucina Paisanos team genuinely went above and beyond every step of the way. My now husband and I are both Johnson & Wales Culinary graduates, so food quality was incredibly important to us — not just for ourselves, but because we knew our guests would expect nothing less. La Cucina Paisanos absolutely delivered. The food was outstanding, prepared with care, flavor, and consistency, and our guests raved about it all night long. It truly elevated our wedding day. That says so much that after returning from our honeymoon, we went straight back to La Cucina Paisanos for dinner — and once again, everything from the service to the ambiance to the quality of the food was exceptional. “Sole Mio donated an incredible meal to the Ronald McDonald Room at Stony Brook University Hospital while our daughter was there. The meal included a wonderful chicken Parmesan and a pasta with vodka sauce that was especially good. We were very thankful for their kind donation and hope to visit in person in the future.“

The grilled chicken in the Greek salad was very moist and soft. Loved their 6 slice pizza too-great cheese and perfect amount of sauce that’s way less acidic than other local pizza, maybe partially because they use less sauce. Staff were very kind too. As a rooster with impeccable taste and a strict “no bad pizza” policy, I strutted inside. One peck at the crust and I knew my day had changed forever. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with cheese so perfectly melted I briefly considered abandoning farm life to become a full-time pizza critic.

The staff behind the counter treated me with the respect any distinguished rooster deserves. Nobody questioned why I was reviewing the menu by standing on a chair and yelling.

By the time I left, I had forgotten all about the worm. That’s how good the pizza was.

“The owners are great. Very pleasant to deal with. I've been going there since they bought it about 22 yrs ago. Their dinners are very good, you can't go wrong with the penne ala vodka and a side of sausage. Love the antipasti, garlic knots are to die for. The neopolitan and Sicilian pies are great. Love the sauce they make for the dinners and pies. The only complaint I have is that they go light on the pizza toppings. I'd like to see more sausage, pepperoni, etc on the pies, not a few slices sprinkled about. Now I'm thinking about pizza. Maybe tonight.“
