“As someone who has grown up eating Nigerian food I was intrigued to see what DoC would offer and was pleasantly surprised.
It was no frills, high quality Nigerian food that was authentic with no attempts to water it down for a wider audience.
In the night we had Pepper Soup, Warra and Abula.
Great mingling with other guests on the table.
Only downside it that they don’t give you much of a heads up about the BYOB policy’s“

“Ate here last night and had a great experience with my partner- first time eating Ethiopian in decades and I liked it.
Food came out fast.
Combination plater for 2 is the most cost effective dish, but yummy.
On the other hand, a bottle of beer there is pretty expensive.“

“Vegan Nigerian food. Most of the menu items use akara as the main protein, which is a type of deep fried bean fritter. It’s really excellent and gives everything a distinctive flavor and texture. I’d recommend starting with the Made in Lagos burger. They can be a bit slow, so you should order ahead online if you’re going to pick your food up.“

“Authentic West African food geared towards the local West Africans. With that said the decour is very bare and the seating is community styled. If you want a trip to West Africa but can't afford a ticket, this is your place. If you can only eat at Western styled restaurants it's not for you. The foufou is amazing. The lamb dibi is succulent. I love it.“

“I was in the neighbourhood and I had to stop. I have seen several YouTube review and I was not disappointed. Absolutely worth every kobo and cent!“
“Great Senegalese/West African food with huge portions at decent prices. We were shocked at the amount of food we got for $20 (enough for at least 2 meals). While the ambience of the shop might not be great or the staff super friendly, the food and price is what makes it great and why I would recommend it.
The options are usually a protein and a carb and the protein portion is big, fowl would be an entire fowl, fish would be an entire fish etc. The carb options were vermicelli, couscous, rice, fries etc. They also have West African drinks.
We loved the fowl and fried fish and the vermicelli side the most.“

“Food is always great. I lovvvee the snail. Please please cook the meet a little longer. My teeth is fighting for their life trying to bite through them. They are too tough. Otherwise, Egusi and Efo are delicious. The beans are so good! Anytime I’m in the city I always stop by! 🥰“

“Very nice experience. Small outlet but they can be forgiven, this is New York, everything is expensive. Meat was well cooked, fried and very tasty. Fish was the best I’ve had in a while and their gbegiri and ewedu is epic. Great place to be“

“Another African restaurant that would blow your mind with their delicious recipe. I was really hungry as I drove past Flatbush. I just had to google any African restaurant near me, that was how I drove to this place. It looked really small, more like it was built for takeout only. But as soon as my jollof rice came with vegetables and goat meat! Hands up 🙌🏽 I gave the 10 stars ⭐️“

“The food was very great! I enjoyed the experience and it seemed to get lots of orders and the wait wasn’t that bad. The food in my opinion was very good but for the price I feel I could’ve had more. The Egusi soup was $25 but I felt there could’ve been a little more and the Jollof Rice with lamb was $20 which I think was worth the price. Though I believe these portions are quite good for one person. The flavors were amazing with a nice burst in your mouth and tasted nice and smoky. The goat could’ve been a bit more tender but the sauce over it was amazingly top tier. I with I could’ve smothered my Jollof rice in it too. I would definitely come here again despite it being a whole hour away.“
