“We stumbled upon this place and so glad. It was packed but didn't have to wait too long. We had the healthy Choice bagel sandwich on pumpernickel. It was spot on. Shared it. Each had a coffee too. Would totally return. Typical NYC bagel sandwich prices. Fun vibe too.“

“My favorite bagels in Brooklyn and I’ve tried dozens of spots. Not cheap but so worth the price. Wish they had a couple more chairs but it’s a small place. Staff is really nice too.
I highly recommend the pretzel bagel if you wanna switch things up.“

“Edith’s is right around the corner from my hair stylist, so I always treat myself after an appointment. The food is so good; I always try to get something new. My most recent visit, Lyla steered me toward the Turkey Hoagie, and it’s my new favorite sandwich. Thank you, Lyla!“

“The bagels are really good. I grew up out of NY. We had bagels we thought were good. Then I came to NY and realized what bagels were supposed to taste like. Bagel Hole bagels are top notch. Of the best kosher bagels in NY. The sandwiches are good, service is slow and that could be due to demand and they need to focus on consistently cleaning the restaurant. They improve their speed and clean consistently, I change my rating to a 5.“

“The bagels are absolutely delicious — a true 5-star experience when it comes to taste. But the ordering system is baffling. They take your order and then… that’s it. No payment. You’re left awkwardly lingering around in a cramped space until your food is ready — and only then are you allowed to pay. It’s inefficient, disorganized, and a waste of time for every single customer. This setup might work in a massive café, but in a tiny shop like this, it just causes crowding, confusion, and frustration. Amazing food, yes — but the process seriously needs a rethink. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯“

“Our group chose this restaurant twice when deciding where to meet. Every meal I've had here was enjoyable. A clean restaurant with charming elements. Workers here balance helpful service with sincere friendliness. The restaurant's location is perfect and we experienced good service throughout.“

“This has been my go-to bagel spot for like a decade. Its been better than all the others in the area. La Bagel Delight is about the same, but they put more stuff on the bagels, so they win for that. Though Terrace is closer so thats where I go.
Please put more stuff on the bagels!! Not just a little sprinkle on the top! Also wish egg everythings were available more often.
Noticed recently a lot of bagels are squished and oblong now, not as nicely round as they used to be. Doesn't change the taste, but makes it tougher to make an even sandwich.
Also the prices have definitely gone up. Used to be $1-1.10/bagel.
Their coffee cakes are the best ever, too! Love that chocolate one when its available.“

“Oh my goodness, maybe hard to believe, but I've struggled to find a fantastic bagel lox in Park Slope. But no longer! Bagel House made me the most delicious and perfect bagel lox with all the right fixins. It's called the Lox Spectacular and that's exactly what it is. The service was wonderful as well. It's true, people remember how you made them feel. Bagel House made me feel like coming back. The atmosphere is nice for a quiet time to yourself or hanging out with some friends. The rest of the menu looked amazing, with a slew of smoothies, griddle platters, and many different types of omelettes, sandwiches and bagels. Way to go Bagel House!“

“We come here every time we’re in NY to eat breakfast. Then come back to get a couple dozen to take home. My fiancé is from Long Island born and raised but we always drive to Brooklyn because the food and service are that good! Cool neighborhood as well.“

“Good food, good 👍 place, although not too spacious enough for simple dine-in. Other than that, nothing much to fault it. At least the food is good 👍 for either dine-in or takeout. And it's quite calm and peaceful in this cafe, which is definitely a positive experience to take away from this place.“

“I‘ve been there - after hearing they have the best toasted bagels. We ordered the open ones with tomatoes. And yes - for me the best bagels, i tried. The atmosphere was nice, the people very friendly. I can also recommend the fantastic ginger lemonade! Worth a visit!“

“We stumbled upon this deli on Maps, and we are very happy we did! We tried a cream cheese and lox bagel, a Times Square sandwich and a Caprese Panini, all of them delicious!!! The staff was very nice and welcoming to us, they even suggested a few things to try - thank you Mikey for making our amazing food 💗
Will come back again :)“

“Wonderful attentive staff and amazing bagels! I fly in from the west coast and always stop here for the pumpernickle bagel. I also love the jalapeno cheddar cream cheese. They also offer amazing breakfast and lunch options with full expresso bar!“

“This review is for the wonderful employee, Qandeel.
I visited this place on the night before Labor Day. Even though it was late on a Sunday night before a holiday the place was bustling with delivery orders and dine-in customers.
Despite the busy atmosphere Qandeel was incredibly helpful and patiently answered all my questions, even encouraging me to ask as many as I needed.
She never showed any signs of frustration and efficiently handled her other tasks as well.
I was so impressed by her exceptional service that I asked for her name so I could write a review.
I've lived in this neighborhood for a while but only came here about once a year.
After this experience I've decided to visit more often.“

“One of my biggest things I do is when I go out of town is I always look for something local. And right next-door where I was going to be was my favorite bagel. I figured I’ll go get a bagel and a drink. Well I walked in there, and there was all different types of pizza there there was a salad bar on the other side and then there was a bakery got a piece of pizza. I don’t know what kind it was but let me tell you something from where I am in New York this was nothing like it. The pizza was out of this world. I give it five stars or even 10 stars if I could really good food definitely will go back again.“

“The best bagel shop in Bay Ridge. Better than any bagel shop in Park slope where I used to live. The bagels are great. They are not giant fluffy buns. They are soft on the inside but chewy on the outside they are flavorful. The prices are fair. The staff is so nice, professional and efficient. Without fail! When I get my bagel anywhere else, I am disappointed because I compare it to Bagel Villa! And they also have really good fresh baked muffins. The corn muffin in particular is great.“

“The deli was very clean and the smells of the food were amazing. The bacon egg and cheese with scallion cream cheese will be a breakfast essential. Staff were absolutely wonderful and polite. Service was quick and food presentation was amazing. And to top it off, they asked if I wanted my muffin toasted with butter and I was blown away! They must be used as an example of excellence!“

“I got the Italian on a hero and oh my God this is one of the best sandwiches in Brooklyn that I’ve ever had. I also got a dozen bagels and my family loves them. They’re so fresh and you can tell that they were hand rolled and baked this morning. you have to try their fresh cream cheese especially the chocolate chip . workers are very nice and has that southern Brooklyn charm. Price is very reasonable and the place is super clean. I will definitely be coming back!!!!!“

“Proof that the best bagels and in the city really do exist outside of Manhattan. Came here yesterday morning for the first time at it felt so nostalgic to be in a classic NY bagel shop. Staff was kind and enthusiastic and my bagel sandwich was great.“

“Very good bagels but a bit overpriced like every bagel place in nyc.
I ordered everything bagel and lox cream cheese for $7 because adding lox would have been way too expensive so the cream cheese is a good alternative and the taste is quite strong.
Service was very good.
There are a few sits in front of the shop but no interior sitting available.“

“Another solid New York bagel shop. Perfectly dense and fluffy bagels done the right way. Friendly staff, good prices and quick service. $9.50 for a BEC and a small coffee. Not a place you might travel out of the way for, but if you’re in the area this is a good stop for a good bagel.“

“Frankel’s came across my for you and I instantly started following them. Once I made it to NY, I made it a priority to check them out. Their pastrami egg & cheese is what caught my eye & I was not disappointed. Great spot. Definitely worth trying out when you’re in Brooklyn“
