“I was craving some kimchi stew and just happened to find this place and wanted to check it out. The banchan is so delicious especially the kimchi — my friend and i got 5 servings of it!! This place has the best kimchi i’ve had at a restaurant so far and the kimchi pork stew is delicious as well. The atmosphere is really nice as well, perfect for a date or just a nice hangout!“

“Incredible food, the wings were amazing I got the jerk sauce bbq glaze with mac and cheese it was perfectly grilled slightly charred the way I like it, amazing mac and cheese that had a hint of Cajun flavor and a Buffalo NY style blue cheese with celery at least it seemed Buffalo style from what I’ve had before. The price was way cheaper than I expected the staff was really nice to me and police and checked up on me twice, and didn’t take long to do that either. 5 stars from me I’m going back tomorrow and I don’t even live in Brooklyn, I gotta bring my gf and my friends here. “I recently visited Shashlik House in Downtown Brooklyn, and it was a fantastic experience! This place is known for its authentic Uzbekistani food, and it did not disappoint. I had the Samsa, Lamb Tenderloin, Tandir Bread, Lula Kebab, and Tarhun, and every dish was bursting with rich, flavorful spices. The lamb tenderloin was especially tender and juicy, and the warm Tandir bread was perfect for pairing with the skewers.

The staff were very courteous and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was vibrant with great music that added to the overall experience. If you’re looking to try some authentic Uzbekistani cuisine, Shashlik House is definitely the place to go. I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“We live in Enfield and went here for the first time last night. We dine out often and have a pretty good handle on what’s around. This is the best dining experience we’ve had from top to bottom in like a 30 mile radius. A few key things we LOVED: *the food was dynamite. Took the server’s suggestion and got the burnt ends as an app. Five stars. Our meals were timely and delicious. I got the filet, she got the brisket. *friendly and attentive staff. Let’s be honest, not an easy find in 2025. *was not what we expected in a bbq place. I’ve been to many that really hammer down on the honky tonk vibe. That’s tolerable and expected, but not necessarily my thing. This place was refreshing. I absolutely will return and plan to turn more people onto this place. They had my wife using words she never uses to describe how good the food was! lol that says something.“

“Izzy’s Brooklyn Smokehouse is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. The smoked brisket was tender and packed with flavor, and the smoked fried chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy and juicy. The pulled beef empanadas added a nice twist, and the Korean chicken bites had a great balance of spice and sweetness. The staff was friendly, and the cozy vibe made it a really enjoyable meal.“
