Kings County Brewers Collective Brewery • $$

“Always LOVE coming to KCBC when we’re in NY. Wouldn’t be a trip unless we went there. Staff is always awesome, the tap list is always phenomenal and the vibe is always right. Didn’t get any beer pictures this time around, just doggos.“

Threes Brewing Brewery • $$
333 Douglass St, Brooklyn

“I've come here sporadically in the past but after joining a local climbing gym last year, I come here almost weekly.

I've had the pleasure of getting to know some of the folks by name. And every one of them is kind and welcoming.

I'm also a fan of the beers! I have multiple favorites. There's always something new to try and everyone behind the bar is very knowledgable.

Also Billy Bob has a dope playlist he plays from time to time. All hiphop. East coast, west coast, NOLA, Texas, so much love for all regions.
A beautiful thing.“

Other Half Brewing Company Brewery • $$
195 Centre St, Brooklyn

“One of my favorite taprooms/breweries in NY. Their flavor profiles perfectly match up with my tastes and grabbing a beer here is always pleasant. I’m gluten intolerant (new, depressing development), so I have to cheat sparingly and in a calculating way. Coming here like 3 times a year and getting a few beers is always 1000000% worth it. Their IPAS/Sours, or anything w citra hops or that lactose thing they do is always BANGING.“

“Oh man I don’t know where to start. Such an amazing community spot. What Shinobu and Ayako built here is truly amazing. From the amazing and well curated events (music, food, book clubs) to the incredible sake and cocktail program, I’m just constantly being blown away. I know Olive Garden already took it, but I really feel like KSW better embodies the motto “when you’re here, your family.” Met some of my best friends here :)“

Eckhart Beer Co. Brewery •
545 Johnson Ave, Brooklyn

“I can’t rave enough about this place. The beer, of course, is fantastic. I lived in northern Europe and I love true traditional German pilsners. Most craft brewers make something they call a pilsner, but many miss the mark, making a bland light beer. Eckhart has made possibly the best German pilsner I’ve had in the states. It’s got all the subtle flavors, high notes, crisp and sharpness, depth – truly delicious and very much the paradigm of the style. Even though Eckhart doesn’t specialize in IPAs, they also make a terrific straight-ahead old-school IPA, and when we were there, they had a smokey rye beer which was unlike any other beer I’d had, and was delicious. Bonus - the food here is actually really great. We had: brotzeit – which is a platter of meats and sauerkraut and pickled veggies, and was divine; kartoffelpuffer – which is basically the world’s greatest tater tots; a delicious cucumber salad; and the “deluxe” house-made potato chips and dip, with boquerones, pickled chilis and creme fraiche – all totally amazing. I also suggest that if you can score a booth, go for it. We were in a booth and it was really cozy and nice to be able to have a conversation without shouting. So happy to have the place nearby. Definitely one of my new favorites.“

Endless Life Brewing Brewery • $$
52 34th St, Brooklyn

“I stopped by Endless Brewing Company in search of their Kölsch style beer “Construed to waste your time”. The Kölsch was everything it should be crisp with a light yellow hue and served at a perfectly chilled temperature to bring out its best flavor. Best I’ve have had outside of Cologne Germany. Endless Life Brewing in located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn and has been set up with its neighborhood in mind. The perfect place to come and sit with friends for a chat or play couple games. Their back patio is softly lit and has picnic tables perfect for night of catching up and maybe grabbing a small bite. I had their homemade mac and cheese and I swear they had my grandmother in back making it.“

Brooklyn Brewery Brewery • $$
79 N 11th St, Brooklyn

““Beer has dispelled the illness which was in me”. What a great quote to put on the side of a brewery.

Great selection of beer, everything from a 13% stout to a light lager. Prices were standard bar, nothing wild. No happy hours. Not too busy on a Saturday early evening.“

Strong Rope Brewery Red Hook Brewery • $
185 Van Dyke St, Brooklyn

“Only stumbled across this because I wanted to have a drink with a friend who was sailing on the Queen Mary 2 the next day.

There's nothing fancy about it, but, as a brewery, they actually have a good craft beer list and the bartender was happy to tell you about the offerings. The Storyteller Imperial Stout was excellent, and I'm admittedly hard to please.

Even better than the beer is the view from the tables outdoors, which features the Statue of Liberty. Worth a visit by itself.“

Other Half Brewing Domino Park Brewery • $$

“This is the original location of one of my favorite hazy breweries. We have tried them in dc and philly but this one is the best for beer in my opinion.

They have a tone of great unique hazies that are different rough to stand out amongst each other.

The first time we ever went here it wasn't too busy but over the last few years it has gotten packed. Its a big place but it fills up just as quickly.

A new part they added was the slider option which even has a good vegan option.

Overall some great hazy beers if that's what your into.“

TALEA Beer Co. Brewery • $$

“We are so happy that we chose Talea to host our welcome night for our wedding weekend. We were looking for a casual, but large enough spot for our 130ish guests and where we could cater our own food since we couldn't have Vietnamese food at our actual wedding. The events staff are super easy to work with, the price is reasonable, and the space is really beautiful with lots of natural greenery so you don't need to decorate yourself. The food and drinks that they serve are also great and I really appreciated that they had non-alcoholic options since I don't drink myself. They make a custom menu for your event and there are little details like putting a custom sign or having a projector so you can have a slideshow or video playing in the background as well. I really recommend this spot for hosting any type of event.“
