“From the very beginning working with Frank/ Bassett, I knew they were the perfect choice for our wedding on 5/24/25. The portions were incredible and the food was amazing. No one will go hungry I promise! If you are questioning, just go to a tasting and you will be fully on board. The bacon wrapped scallops and beef crostini's were some on my personal favorites. Very kind business, even checked up on us after the wedding. They brought their own bartenders and exceeded expectations. It is obvious they have been doing this for a long time, and know exactly what they are doing. I cant thank Bassett enough for being the best/easiest vendor to work with. 11/10“

It is chock full of yummy surprises, all arranged beautifully, in perfect condition. There was such a generous amount of food, they could make a meal and still graze after. The meat, cheese, fruit, nuts & dried fruit were premium quality & we’re told, very delicious. It arrived in a cute huge box, with flowers & a honey dipper tied into the colorful wrapping twine. This gift was a big hit & I couldn’t be happier.“

I bought four of these meals put them overnight in crockpots and fed my shul a great Sabbath meal. Inflation has made it impossible. The chicken is great and all of the prepared foods are wonderful. “A former colleague of mine traditionally sends me an item from Pistache every New Year. Last year it was a lovely King Cake. This year it was a pistachio buche de Noel which was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful to look at and delicious. It was personally delivered by the owner on New Year’s Eve! I wish I had taken a photo as it was a work of art. I attach a king cake photo from last year. I highly recommend every delicacy coming from his kitchen. I have never been disappointed.“

“Had the most AMAZING Poboy & conversation with the owner/cook of sweet tooth. The business has been on Garvey for 17 years and I think it’s because he stayed true to himself, pork free soulfood, chopped chicken barbecue sandwiches, Poboy and homemade iced teas and let’s not forget about the desserts which I didn’t get to get any because I’m on a sweet break but next time I pop in I’m definitely getting a sweet potato cheesecake. Now for my sandwich, I had four juicy shrimp on 1/2 and on the other two pieces of flounder garnish with a secret sauce and a slaw mix toasted to perfection. It was so delicious. Definitely popping back in to try more things on the item and if you’re like me, looking for a black owned businesses that hit the nail on the head definitely pop into sweet tooth.“

Think of it as catered wedding style food and you pay by weight for many items like a deli counter with some tables to eat in. Also good sandwiches for take away.“
