Ozakaya has a lovely intimate ambiance. It is great for a date spot or 2-4 person gathering.The service is great. Staff were always filling our water and asking if we needed anything else at an appropriate time/pacing. Was able to walk in and get a table even on a Saturday night.Classic rolls are on the higher price scale, but they do give 8 pieces. Have come here a couple times for dinner. Both times, we tried different dishes that were both classic Japanese food and also some unique specials. The last time we went we sat in the back of the restaurant past the kitchen, which is quite crowded. There was a table of screaming children (standing on their chairs screaming), being really disruptive which affected our experience a bit. Food is top notch, and service is extremely friendly.

Cocktail is great and I recommend the ones with matcha. Seafood is fresh and well done with the combination and flavor. However their hot dishes are ok, such as the tempura rice, grilled soft crab. Wish their hot dishes are as good as other ones!
