Definitely worth checking out. Tried the biscuits & gravy, full 2.0, pancakes all were solid renditions of the traditional meal with a twist.

“The food was absolutely delicious. As someone born and raised in Taiwan, I have very high standards for the flavors of my hometown. I originally didn’t have much expectation for a modern Taiwanese restaurant, but the very first dish—the stir-fried pea shoots—was impressive. The lettuce shrimp wraps were also outstanding. The intense wok hei from the high-heat stir-fry was unforgettable. Although it’s a fusion Taiwanese restaurant, Wenwen showcases the essence of Taiwanese cuisine in its own way for non-local guests. It truly deserves a lot of praise.“

“Good place for Thai twisted food. We got Krapow burger and Thai tea. Burger was good, the spicy was kicked! But the Thai tea was quite fade for me. The restaurant was cute and cozy. They have few tables, inside looks so clean. They have cute merchs as well, like some shirts and tote bags. I want to go back and try their holy basil stir fried and crispy pork belly.“

“Okay this is a little updated review. I still love Eden's after years of patronage and they are my go to for lunch pretty much everyday of the week but I also found weird fiber stuff in my salad today and I'm pretty sure I ate a lot of it. I really hope it's not like plastic fibers or hairs...

One other feedback would be please don't skip massaging the kale for the GOAT bowl. I get the GOAT all the time and 90 % of the time it's perfect but occasionally I get just very raw, unmassaged kale that is very difficult to eat haha. Otherwise you guys are awesome, keep making amazing salads.“

“The Canary, my new go-to.

I recently changed work neighborhoods, and this place instantly became my favorite. The bartenders are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, and late nights are full of industry folks, the kind of crowd that makes it feel like a neighborhood spot.

To top it off…the have the NFL ticket (as a Seahawks fan, that’s gold it is nearly impossible to catch a game on this side of the country, but here they’ve got me covered). Great food, great vibe…exactly what you want in a pub.

“I hosted the after party for my wedding at Lavender Lake and it did not disapoint. The space was huge and affordable for a semi private area. They even had a DJ there that night who was so much fun. I highly recommend this space if you need to host a party in the area!“

“Fantastic spot. We live in a nearby neighborhood and have been many times. Located on a quiet corner near the pier with a lovely sunset view of the statute of liberty, it feels like a peaceful escape from the city.

The food is generally very good. The ricotta beet salad is a must have - so fresh. Our only caveat is that the pizza can be a bit soggy, so we'd suggest foregoing toppings and just getting the plain tomato mozzarella (which is very good).“

On the immensely popular Vanderbilt Ave., it’s a standout - a remarkable fact since it’s one the newest establishments to grace said Avenue. Its charming exterior is as inviting as the space itself. Vibrant natural lighting, eclectic music, and art laden walls give it the comfort of a home…which (I believe) is key for a neighborhood establishment. My experience was guided perfectly by the kind, warm, and knowledgeable staff. Attracted by their unique components, I went with the savory breakfast burrito (chorizo/crispy potatoes/hatch green chile) followed by the sweet griddled blueberry corn muffin (whipped butter, strawberry preserves). Both prove to be deliciously creative takes on two breakfast/brunch staples. By nailing a couple of classics, I know they’ll nail the rest. With that, I truly look forward to going back to explore the rest of their menu soon (including dinner, of course) and so should you.“

To name a few of my favorite menu items : The Red Velvet Smoothie (add protein powder and almond milk), The Peanut Butter Toast (omg) — The Merced Sandwich(add shrimp!!) Game changer trust me! The Guacamole was(no longer on the menu) incredibly fresh too, I also like The Horchata Latte. Basically, everything is delicious! And prices are reasonable, too! “I went to this location to pick up a cake for one of my teammates for a promotion she worked so hard for. I remembered her stating this was her favorite place to get cakes and other options. However, when I went there, i found out that this location doesn’t house cakes. However, Melissa went ABOVE AND BEYOND, told me not to worry and asked what kind of cake I wanted. She immediately jumped into action and called the location on Montague and told me in less than 5 mins, “dont worry, I’ll have one delivered here in less than 30 minutes”.
