“My first visit to King of Meat
at a friend’s recommendation. Our waiter Rowin was attentive, accommodating and made the experience delightful. We came at 6:30pm on a Friday and was surprised they had a reduced price “happy hour” for Margaritas and beer til 7.
We ordered the cheesy dip with bacon bits and chips as an appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!!! For dinner we had the smash burger and quesadilla with steak and mushrooms. Both were yummy. They have a good drink menu, though not too many wine choices. In addition to Rowin, I appreciated the attentiveness of the owner who stopped by as well as the bartender who made sure to greet us coming and going. I will definitely return.“

“So so so delicious. Ordered the 16 oz, the chicken and a few sides and apps. Everything was *chefs kiss*. The steak was cooked impeccably. But I can’t get over how good the chicken was cooked and the flavor profile of the dish. Yes yes I know it’s a steakhouse but I cannot stop thinking about that chicken!!!!!“

My mom and 2 children decided to dine here this past Tuesday after searching up about 20 kosher restaurants nearby. We live over 2 hours away but knew we needed to eat good before the long drive back home. Listen… don’t walk, but RUN to this place! I ordered the Tomahawk steak and it came out perfectly. The accompanying chicken dishes (chicken wing poppers, buffalo chicken poppers and chicken and waffles) were superb! You’d think I was a celebrity with how they made sure I left happy. Thank you to the owner for stopping by our table ensuring we enjoyed the food. Thank you to our waiters! We were definitely pleased and will return when we’re in the area.“

“Pros: Our waitress was extremely helpful and service oriented. Lots of appetizers: there were 7 little bowls worth. The ones I remember were seasoned carrot shreds, Cole slaw, red cabbage, pickles, pickled jalepeños, as well as pita bread. what I ordered (grilled teriyaki chicken) was delicious and moist.

Cons: My friend got the lamb skewers and they were overcooked. She did specify well done, but it was tough. we were the only ones in the restaraunt yet food did take a while to arrive. not too many options I liked for sides and wasn't a fan of the ones we got.

Prices ranged from $35-60. Pro tip: the main course of meat comes with 2 sides.“

He understands full well the “customer journey” how to upsell—and he is very effective at it. kudos! Cheers and generally a good experience. Shot across the bow: Oh, one small observation—tropical fruits like mangoes require sufficient “chef's occasional tasting test” for freshness, before serving it to guests. Over ripe mangoes tend to taste like they are going bad (and almost always are) so be on the look out for that to avoid ruining an otherwise lovely dining experience.“
